She is, in my humble opinion, the luckiest person in television news to have landed this gig. ~ And it's only 6:30 a.m. so maybe she'll just roll in late this morning and my initial questions will be moot.

And the second luckiest with an easy gig.....Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

Reality show D lister, cocky know-nothing neophyte, .... who finally got kicked off the View after a lucky 8 years where she made lotsa $$ with zero journalistic or interviewing or thinking skills and the on camera speaking talents of Sarah Word Salad Palin. Only to find herself land another cushy co hosting job wedged between 2 potted plants and all she has to do is grunt, agree with, hold a pen, smile, show up, and do pre packaged segments on GOD ! and MOTHERHOOD !  and PATRIOTISM !...and show as much skin as possible.

Sorry. I digress to another lousy morning TV show. They are all bad.

I hope Joe will make a guest appearance on the new Muppet Show. He looks like Beaker!. I don't know why Mika has to drag Joe to the Know Your Value tour. It's odd. It sends a message to women that they can't be successful without  a man helping them.

The show is much less snark worthy without Mika & Joe.

Morning Cackles & Willie. New polls show Biden is more popular than Hillary or any GOP candidate.

Cackles said Obama was outplayed by Putin since he has a plan for Syria.

Putin & Obama took shots at each other @ the UN meeting.

Cackles got mad at Barnicle when he said Hillary was a strong candidate.

Halperin said Biden  could wait till after Sanders beats Hillary in Iowa & NH.

Cackles is a super patriot!  Her President faces off with an opposing world leader, she takes the opponents' side 100% of the time and does so with a euphoric glee.  #JournalisticIntegrity

You know, here's the thing about the PP videos that I wish someone would point out on this show: I haven't viewed them, have no intention of viewing them, and have no doubt they are highly edited to show the providers and medical professionals in the worst possible light.

But guess what? Whether you're talking about fetal tissue donation, organ donation from accident victims, procuring cadavers from nursing homes for medical research - it's ALL gory and upsetting. Of course it sounds callous if it's being discussed as a business transaction. But how is the fact that you're talking about an embryo or a fetus make it any more upsetting than if you're discussing Grandma?

That is the part that bugs me. Surgery is messy and gory, but for the med staff it is normal. I think talking about poop treatment plants is normal stuff you talk when eating lunch.  Some people don't want to know how the sausage is made.

Now that McCarthy has let the cat out of the bag and admitted that the Benghazi hearings are really about stopping Hillary, Joe is falling over himself to make excuses. That dummy told the truth! Jigs up Joe!

Is anyone else worried that Jeb Bush may be suffering from delusions?  First he says his brother kept us safe, now on this show he says President Obama doesn't have the skills necessary to solve problems nor does he even try.  That's right Jeb!  Obamacare is working, we saved the auto industry, unemployment is down, gas prices are down and Osama Bin Laden is dead.  The president has done nothing but fix the problems that your brother left us and had absolutely no help from the Republicans in Congress while doing so.  Of course, no one on the panel challenged Jeb on anything.  It's sad when Stephen Colbert asks better follow up questions on his late night comedy show than Joe and Mika do on this so called "news" show.

I tweeted at him a couple weeks ago "Are you crazy or stupid? Free advice - shut up about your brother".   I think Jeb should have taken Barbara's initial advice and stayed out of this shit show.  Even if he gets the nomination, comments like these are not going to get him anywhere in the Presidential debates. m

Oh FFS, now pfishing attempts are "hacks".  Gimme a break, weak sauce, and of course it's the Clinton hating AP.

I love that Hilary gets the same idiotic spam as I do.  The fake traffic ticket ones are hilarious.

At least we know she isn't being targeted, it's just the dumbass pfishing.

Who was the politician-looking politician* with white or blonde or silvery hair speaking about how "Obama's administration did nothing" to stop murders, rapes, killings, etc... in Syria and Ukraine?  This led me to wonder... he's in Congress.  He is in American governance.  It's his job.  He has a bully pulpit.  Where was his outrage previously... and, who cares about his feckless mock outrage, where were his alternative suggestions as to what exactly, precisely America should have done to intercede in foreign conflicts and bring the entire world to heel?

(*Seriously though, could that man have been anything else other than a conservative politician?  He looks like he was made in a GOP factory.)

I didn't see it, did they have Kevin McCarthy on?  He's got silver hair and is the likely next Speaker of the House.

He also let the cat out of the bag about the Benghazi hearings being nothing but political to try to tarnish Hillary's reputation prior to the campaign.

Senator Bob Corker of Tennessee?  I wasn't listening closely at that point.

It was Corker.  Mika asked him what he would recommend doing in Syria and he said something about not offering any ideas because the President wouldn't listen to them anyway.  I swear I've heard more logical arguments from 4 year-olds!

Question: With such an inventive, creative artist for for a mother and an intellectually curious and intelligent father....how did Mika end up as such a superficial shallow-thinking twit? And I'm not being merely snarky (though there's definitely that, too); I truly don't understand how she landed in the shallow (there's that word again) end of what would appear to be a fairly deep gene pool. What admittedly little I've seen of her brothers, they don't seem to be similarly affected.

Occasionally a recessive gene shows up and spits out a Mika.   I think Mika realized that she got further (in her opinion) in life by being cute and silly and by flirting with men.

Did you all see Joe smack down Howard Dean who laughed at the Republicans' endless investigation of Benghazi?  Dean called Republicans silly or wing nuts or goofy or something like that because they now have been outed for doing what EVERYONE knows they're doing, politicizing the deaths in Benghazi and using fake patriotism as a weapon to attack their opponents.

Joe interrupted Dean to say, (paraphrased) "No, Republicans aren't wing nuts, they're proud Americans who are standing up for the families of those who were killed to finally find some truth."  Which is something an immense asshole feels comfortable saying because he knows he'll never be challenged.

Longest Congressional investigation in American history.

Over 2900 dead on September 11, 2001.  Shorter investigation when our nation's homeland was attacked and two symbolic, massive structures were destroyed, and the Pentagon was attacked.

He's such a pig.

And Mika attacked that long-haired asshole conservative.  He's a smug prick, but she was rude.

10 students shot to death, and yet ANOTHER mass killing here in the US, and the one thing he's most sure of is that the President is wrong about everything because nothing can or should be done.  She could have calmly challenged him to make a case for doing ANYTHING to cut down the number of mass killings, instead she spazzes on him like an emotional teenager.

I hate this show.

After playing the clip of the Oregon LEO refusing to say the shooter's name and challenging everyone to refuse to say the shooter's name, MJ immediately follows that clip and opens the show with ... the name of the shooter.

I find Mika's behavior to be puzzling. It seems that the her brother's benefitted from learning from their dad about foreign policy etc, yet Mika does seem to rely  on her physical appearance to get attention. She looks very different now than she did when the show started in 2007. She looks like a clone of the First Lady on House of Cards.

Joe was back to wearing fleece today. It's too bad because he was dressing better the last month or so.

"Cheap rhetorical tricks aren't going to get it done" says the master of cheap rhetorical tricks.

For the first time in a long time, Mika actually tried on the gun issue.  Anyone else want to punch Joe in the face when he went for the cheap rhetorical trick of turning the gun control subject to "Black people in Chicago"?*

*This is not to say that the frighteningly rampant gun violence in Chicago isn't a very important issue, it's just not one that Joe champions, except to bring up the so-called "Ferguson effect" of police standing down "out of fear".  Or to bring up the fact that though Chicago has very strict gun control laws, guns are so freaking ubiquitous there.

Can someone remind me of how many emails from the Bush Administration were magically lost?  And wasn't part of the huge AG investigation about Rove using the administration email servers for political ends?  (I may not have these quite right, but on the whole I'm pretty sure that I do.)

And Hillary is not going to be on this program unless and until she is the nominee - or becomes absolutely desperate in the primaries.

Oops, I knew I mashed up the Bush Administration email controversies.

It's always amusing when we get a huge pile of IOKIYAR.

Cause its real hard to get from Chicago to Indiana, where it's super easy to buy guns.  Takes about 20 minutes.  And last time I drove into Chicago, thru the Toll Road, they aren't checking cars for illegal guns.

What is Joe's specific issue on Benghazi?  Everybody on the panel laughed at McCarthy and support Clinton's vindication and her counter punches, but Joe.  And they all smirk at Joe when he declares "we still don't know anything about Benghazi."  Is this just an act on his part and they're all winking and in on it so he can publicly toe the GOP line?

If he does have an issue with Benghazi, has he ever expressed specifically what that issue is?

You know what I would have asked Rep. Gowdy this morning? Whether he plans to vote for a disaster relief bill for his home state of South Carolina, since he voted against the one for New York and New Jersey after Superstorm Sandy.

But no, more emails.

And WHAT is up with Joe's vendetta against Hillary? Seriously, what is his issue with her? Whenever I flip over to MJ (can't bear to watch it continuously for 3 hours) it's Bash Hillary All The Time. And that twit Mika seems all onboard with that. Why don't those two just cross the street, plant themselves on Faux and Friends' couch with the other haters and be done with it already.

I've always contended that Joe Scarborough is the very first to receive the Roger Ailes "fax" (I'm sure it's an email these days) every morning, so that he can hide on so called "librul (sic) media" and deliver the Ailes talking points to undermine those damn libruls.

It's funny though, Sanders is the insurgent candidate, just as Obama was in 2007.  It's pretty clear that Ailes (and Scarborough) didn't believe that a Black man could actually win the White House (but they wanted him to be the eventual nominee), and now they don't believe that there is any way in hell that a 74 year old Socialist Jew from Brooklyn can really win the White House.

The thing that makes these men pee their pants though, is Hillary as the nominee, and actually in the White House.

Your last sentence, Nextiteration, sums it up perfectly. Full disclosure: I'm on the Hillary train. Do I think she's the perfect candidate or would make the "perfect" president? No, but then, who would be? I don't agree with anyone 100 per cent of the time on 100 per cent of the issues, so as an adult, I weigh the pros and cons and make compromises.....something the repubs in Congress steadfastly refuse to do. Okay, I'm veering off-topic here. To bring it back to MJ: I would love to have Hillary in the White House just on general principals, but I would also LOVE her to be elected President just to watch Joe go completely off the rails (while I sit on my couch and snicker) everyday from 6 to 9. I would go back to watching this crapfest in its entirety just to witness that.

Full Disclosure, I'll vote for the Democratic nominee.  I have issues with both Clinton and Sanders and don't feel particularly pulled in either direction, of course for completely different reasons.  I'd be happy with either of them as POTUS.

Oh, absolutely, Next, I'm voting for the Dem, for sure. I just feel that Hillary would stand a better chance against whatever clown the R's come up with. If Bernie were to be the nominee, how many times would we all hear the word Socialist? Gah. And I don't think Bernie gets under Joe's skin like Hillary does, so there's that. Hee.

I watched With All Due Respect today and I didn't think the focus groups said anything negative about Hillary that has been said about her for the past 20 years.

That being said, tomorrow they showing focus groups with republicans.  It'll be interesting to hear what the focus groups say about Trump.

Trump's polling at 21-28% with republican primary voters.  And according to CNN today, the majority of republicans say they would never vote for him.

In that same poll, the democrats do not feel that way about Hillary although her unfavorable numbers are high.

Focus Group Thursday.  The panel was upset about the focus group's support for Carson. The focus group doesn't want a muslim to be President. The focus group doesn't like JebBush.

Cackles bragged that her dad could support Trump or Sanders. Joe said people came up to him when he was in Congress & said they didn't agree with him but they would vote for him anyway. Joe said he was a very popular Congressman.

Joe & Mika mocked Hillary's position on the TPP. Bernie Sanders gave a very good interview.

Okay, so. I was doing one of my fly-by's of MJ. They introduce Bernie Sanders! Yay! I yell to Mr. Rain (who's in the den watching his go-to a.m. show on CNN, which he likes. Go figure.), " Bernie's on Morning Joe!" . We both like Bernie. After the interview the panel begins chatting, at which point Mr. Rain calls out to me, "Why is Joe always talking about HIMSELF?!"

That about sums it up, doesn't it? From someone who watched the show for maybe 5 minutes.

Rancid Preibus isn't in that list of punchable faces?   It is a good list, though.

What did Cackles say about Carson?  That he's not afraid to speak the truth and that's why voters like him?  I didn't have the sound turned up.  And since her comment involved two of the most vile figures on TV and politics, I didn't investigate further.

I think we could add Ronan Farrow and Luke Russert.  I don't have a case for Farrow, beyond that it's just his face.  He doesn't act entitled, he's not a weenie, he may be a bit too earnest is all.  Russert is getting so much better.  He's almost bearable now, but about 2 years ago he was the smuggest, least likable personality not on Fox News.  Come to think of it, I bet he got his face punched quite a bit over the past 2 years and now he's mellowed and matured.

I wouldn't feel great about it, and I would lie if confronted about it, but Cackles, while she's cackling.

Donnie Deutsche, ofc.

Bob Woodward.  Maybe not punch him.  He's so old?

Oh wow, that list was terrific! However, the person who should be listed first is.........Dick Cheney. That arrogant, draft dodger makes my blood boil any time I see his

miserable, lying, ugly face. I can think of others, but how does that "Dick" sleep at night??? Carson looks like he is either ready to take a nap, or he just woke up from one.....definitely will need an alarm clock in the Oval Office if he's (God Forbid) elected.
