Season 6 First Looks

Recommended Posts

I thought that one of the most befuddling and funniest sidelines at the reunion was the "sister act" of Kyle and LVP.  They acted like two kindergartners on the first day of school, holding hands and scared to death of what might happen.  LisaV, with her sad sack face, and Kyle, in wide-eyed wonderment, were almost giggle-inducing.  I swear they were holding hands under their skirts.  One defended the other, and the other defended the one, and they were a twosome ready to fall on a sword together.

They have an odd relationship, those two.  Lisa strikes me as the leader (or Kyle allows her to be), while Kyle is allowed to lead at times when LisaV is so upset that she cries herself to sleep every night for a week.  Then, Kyle gets to be the grown-up.  When one pulls out her handkerchief and dabs at unseen tears, the other follows suit in a few minutes. Of course, neither one blows huge honks into their tissues, as most of us would, because real HWs in BH do not honk.  They dab.

Ask LPV and Kyle what their keyword is during trying times, and they'll say in unison, S-O-L-I-D-A-R-I-T-Y.

Here is a clip. . . the never ending bridge conversation.  I guess I am lost I thought the debate was over LVP saying to Rinna, "Why don't you bring Kyle into it?" vs. "don't bring Kyle into it."  The goalposts keep moving and I wish Eileen would stay out of it. http://www.allabouttrh.com/2016/05/03/rhobh-reunion-preview-part-3/

I just came on to correct my post, it was the whole episode. Was LisaV and Yolanda done on the first part of it, I started watching about 20 min. in and nothing on them. I wonder if thee will repeat it on Tuesday. The new NY is on now.

I believe it will air at the regular time in Tuesday.

Both Lisa and Yolanda were featured in the first 20 minutes - Lisa and Ken visited a dermatologist and her Goldens played with the horses.   And Yolanda and her health aid visited a doctor.

They showed Yo at her chiropractor and another scene where GIgi meets Tom , Erika's husband. They showed Lisa at the doctor with Ken and tending to the miniature horses. They also showed LVP in the Hamptons when everyone was getting alone.

i feel like this episode will shine some light on the dynamics this season.

Wirewrap that was in response to your post. I don't know why your quote didn't show up.

My, my Gigi just met Tom. . . I thought the couples had been friends for nine years.  Horsefeathers.

What the heck, are they airing all the shows this season right now?

Andy said there was going to be a surprise Saturday.

My DVR did not pick this up, damn it.

I love hearing this.  So it was good?  From the snippets here it seems like fluff.  Can you say more?

I don't want to give a false impression but for me I felt like it clarified some things.

1. GIgi first meets Tom G. So the claim that they are long time friends is suspect.

2. Lisar daughter wants to model. Someone had a theroy that Lisar's sudden turn around maybe in the hopes Yo could be of some assistance in that world.

3. Lisar says the strap on comment isn't true. She admits to lying but give no reason other than she was tired.

4 Yo's chiropractor does muscle testing which isn't even borderline crazy, it's full on crazy town.

5 Erika gives a little speech about Tom to the other ladies and although I'm not a fan, it was sweet and she clearly holds him in very high regard.

Is the muscle testing where you hold something in your right hand and put the left arm out parallel to the floor and the practitioner presses on left arm to determine if what you are holding is good or bad by the amount of resistance he gets from your arm?

ETA.  Harry had to deal with the strap on lie.  Oh that poor man.

That was just uncomfortable listening to Erika go on and on about Tom, as if she expected the others to worship him.  I agree he probably changed her life, and I question what expertise a cocktail waitress would provide in his all his meetings.  I also thought it weird that Erika insisted on picking up the tab on Eileen's ugly dress.  Very weird to offer to buy someone you hardly know a dress.  I mean, I could see picking up the lunch tab but a shopping trip?

I also wonder if Erika knows how ludicrous she sounds that her husband flies to Houston in the morning, and onto New York and then is back home for the evening.  There is at least 12-14 hours of flight time.  That doesn't count to and from the airport or the all important meetings. Maybe he should learn about video conferencing and save his clients the expense.  Erika is still not ringing true.  It did however explain a little bit about who Erika wanted to spend time with and obviously it was not Kyle or LVP.

Eileen was drooling over everything Erika said or did.   Those scenes really explained alot about the season.

Yo is completely nuts.  Daisy was carrying that ridiculous pink case full of medications, and there was YO hold a jar of something close to her chest, and the acupuncturist would say no, or yes, and  Daisy was busy taking notes.  What a bunch of garbage.  YO is dangerously gullible.    Also interesting that Gigi hadn't met Tom & Erika before.  And they are such good friends.   Tom's reaction to Gigi was creepy.

Kyle was pretty normal and funny, with Porsha spending all that money on an app.   My niece got a package at her door, opened it and it was a doll, tons of outfits for the doll, and accessories.  She hadn't ordered them.  When her 6 year old daughter saw it, she said "Oh my order came".   Yep the IPad and a site my niece goes to all the time, along with the one click buy.

This ep was the cherry on an entire season of side-eye and WTFuckery.

Lisar and the lie that was the strap-on... She points at her lips and disavows all responsibility because "what can I say? these lips get me in trouble," and then shrugs off what she's said because it's the lips' fault. She should come with a warning that her lips are sentient and out of her control given their ability to independently vocalize things that aren't true.

Seeing Harry Hamlin's reaction to the strap on and the subsequent conversation with Lisar would've been fun.

This is twice now that she (or HH himself) has had to correct something she said in regards to him which makes me question anything she claims that we have not seen/heard ourselves. Like all this LisaV "manipulated" me garbage, how much of her claim is nothing more than sheer fabrication or embellishment because if she does it so easily with HH, then she would have no issues doing it to someone less important/close to her like LisaV or Kyle IMO.

This maybe just my personality but I Thought it was even odder that Elieen would allow Erika to buy her that dress. I'm anxious to hear what other people think that is strange or uncomfortable because I know it's a "thing" with me.

I agree, it was odd, very odd and kind of came off as "buying" Eileen's friendship/loyalty, I can see buying her lunch or dinner but not clothes.

Add me to the group thinking the dress buying was weird.   I'd have been insulted if I were Eileen in that situation.  Like, what, you don't think I have enough money to buy my own damn clothes?  It wasn't Eileen's birthday was it?  That's the only way I might be able to see around it, but still weird, because Erika isn't Eileen's mother.  Drinks, dinner, lunch tabs don't bother me either.  Friends IRL swap off on that kind of thing all the time, but not generally overpriced garments.  It did occur to me that Erika may have offered to prove she doesn't have to call Tom for approval to lay down the plastic on large clothes purchases*, but that doesn't explain why Eileen let her buy it.

*I'm presuming that get up wasn't cheap, because, inasmuch as it looks like it should come from Forever 21, I doubt that's Erika's shopping grounds.

If I'd been Eileen and had known that Erika was in a giving mood, I'd have taken her to a car dealership or a fur coat emporium.  It was nice in an odd way that Erika took over the bill for the dress, but aim higher, Eileen!  Aim higher!!!  J/K  Seriously, it wouldn't surprise me to learn that Eileen has the least money of anyone on the show and that Erika senses that.

Off topic:  I can't find any of you.  Please tell me where you've gone!  xoxoxo
