I'm so sick of this Sky porn.  They might as well play the sexy saxy music while Bill is fondling it ...sorry, her.

This is another fantasy episode that should happen - Bill gets so drunk that after passing out while fondling Sky, he wakes up (still dreaming) and she's turned into a real girl. Or a 'smart' building. Who can talk.

At the very least Bill needs an intervention about his objectophilia. It would be great for Liam and Wyatt to seriously confront Bill and stage an intervention with surprise supporters Allison and Justin and Brooke and Katie all talking about his obsession with Sky has ruined their relationships with him. In Katie's case she'd talk to Bill about how Will is starting to talk like his father and calls his Leggo buildings his girlfriend.

Arghh!!! Bill...you miserable selfish lying bastard. This is not enjoyable to watch. I am beyond tired of the bad guys always coming out on top & never really paying for all the nasty stuff they do to others. (Yeah, looking at you Y&R/Victor and GH/Sonny.) There is more than enough of that in this world already. I really do think that sooner or later people pay (one way or another) for the bad things they do out in this world...what goes around comes around. Why not on soaps?

Are they going to do a redux of "burning down the house/Spectra's"? This time with someone really getting hurt? Bad enough the first time...don't any of the writers have original ideas? (Ha! Made myself laugh on that one.)

At least Sheila got a bit of a payback...lame as it was and it was pretty lame...at least she is gone! (She is gone, right??)

And Steffy...such a loyal wife.*cough*

I missed what happened with Shiela, can anyone give me the Readers Digest version?

Mateo touched Quinn "tushy", on the message table, and Quinn flipped out firing Mateo. Mateo confessed he was acting as an agent for Shelia wanting him to seduce Quinn so she could out Quinn and get Eric for her self. Quinn told Eric and Eric played along with being mad at Quinn. Eric got Shelia to come to his house by saying he would put up her portrait over the fireplace. Quinn and Eric called her out and Mateo was there to confirm Shelia's plot. After some stupid diatribe, by Shelia, she is shown the door. Quinn takes advantage, outside the house to confront Shelia once again telling her she will never be Eric's wife. Shelia's face is now full screen with that  weird look of hers cackling like a witch.

I damn near puked when they carried that phallic symbol building back into Bill’s office.  I swear Bill had a full on erection. And when someone called it an it, Billiot reprimanded them by saying “call her she”.  Bill has become a raving lunatic.

From what I understand, KKL got a shorter, choppier haircut so we may be seeing it on the show.  She said she could always throw some extensions in when she wants the longer hair.

It's better, but IMO it would look better a tad shorter.  And I completely agree with @grisgris, fix that color!!!  Just some light brown lowlights would improve it, she doesn't need to do anything drastic.

Steffy loves Bill more than her own father.  Proof is in her advocating for Brooke to go back to Bill.  Steffy continues to ignore all the horrible things that Bill has done because she's a gutter tramp.   Princess Steffy is a 24/7/365 Halloween costume.  Steffy can campaign all she wants to Brooke but Brooke finally put aside her rose colored glasses.

Steffy loves one person in this world, and that's Steffy Forrester. Brooke is just another pawn in whatever fake concern she has for Bill since the little girl tricks she played with Lope won't work on either Bill or Brooke, who has--for now, at least--seen Bill for who he is.

However, she's an idiot and $Bill will have the last laugh.

Oh, God, I just realized that we'll have to sit through a custody battle story most likely. Especially if Bill ends up the father of Phoebe Jr/Cooper/Hamilton/Taylor II as another way to twist the knife into Steam if they've reunited by then. Hooray! :/

To say that I'm beyond pissed off at the show would be an understatement.

So the below is a hate-watching recap. Enjoy!

Also - Happy Halloween ?

Recap for Mon. 10/30/17:

At FC, Fauxdi and Brooke are chatting about the latter's love life.

Brooke-Steffy-discuss-men-BB-HW.jpg

Brooke is gorgeous in a pale pink, open-sleeve blouse and up-swept hair.

Brooke1.jpg.290c6f9a3b86ac150737a527f2b4f6c5.jpg

Fauxdi's dress looks similar to something I picked up at the Merry-Go-Round circa 1991 and trust, I wore it better.

Steffy: "Well, you have two terrific men who love you." Terrific? I'd say pretty terrible.

Brooke is quick to shoot that shit down: "Almost as much as they love themselves."

Steffy: "I don't know if that's the case. As a Spencer, I know Bill's hurting." Because you're helping soothe his wounded...pride? Also, don't you just love how Fauxdi is quick to trot out the "I'm a Spencer" "I'm a Forrester" cards depending on which way the wind is blowing.

Brooke counters: "And as Ridge's daughter?"

Steffy:" I can't deny it. You know, for his sake, I'd like to see you guys back together. Have you made a decision?"

We all know this heifer could not give two shits whom Brooke ends up with.

Brooke pulls a face and Steffy reminds her that she knows she's planning to file for divorce but hasn't quite pulled the trigger.

Brooke: "I can't stand by Bill after what he's done, even though I love him and I probably always will. But your father and I, we do share a son, and I've been a Forrester most of my life." And heartbroken and tortured most of your life, but okay, Brooke.

Steffy: "Yeah, I get it. You got to do what's best for you. But that being said, there is something you need to know, something that may change how you feel."

Brooke: "What is it?"

Steffy: "Liam and Bill have forgiven each other." You mean, Bill lied his ass off (again) and Liam the Charlie Brown chump that he is, took a crack at the football.

She gives Brooke a run-down, culminating with Bill and Liam hugging it out.

Brooke seems skeptical: "Just like that?" Go with this feeling.

Steffy: "Yeah. Yeah, it was like a really beautiful moment. They forgave each other, and look, now they're working together. There's, like, no revenge, no blackmail." If she believes that, she is just as stupid as her chump husband.

Brooke: "Wait. Who's running the company?"

Steffy: "All three of them. Bill, Wyatt, and Liam." Wyatt is a straw man for Bill, nothing more.

Brooke: "And Bill is good with that?"

Steffy: "It was his decision. He wants peace in the family. That's the most important thing to him. Except having you back in his life."

Brooke: "Peace. Peace in the family, huh? Hmm." You can see the wheels turning.

Brooke then remarks: "You were instrumental in bringing Bill and Liam together. I am impressed. And I'm very grateful." No...do not be grateful to this bitch for anything, ever.

Steffy: "Well, I couldn't let them ruin their relationship. Bill loves his family. Someone had to step in." She seriously thinks she's responsible for their reunion. How deluded can she be that she doesn't see it was all an act orchestrated by Bill and Bill alone from start to finish.

Brooke: "It probably should have been me since I was married to him."

Steffy: "Still are until you file the papers."

Brooke sighs: "There is this incredibly gentle side to Bill, and that is one of the reasons why I married him." Look, I wish Brill could reconcile as much as anyone but I don't see how there's any getting back to good for these two.

Steffy: "Brooke, he's not the same man you walked out on." Yes, he is.

Brooke: "And I'm grateful for that. Really, I am. But there's still the side of him that's very aggressive and very stubborn."

Steffy: "But I really do think he's learned his lesson." What is Bill, five?

Brooke: "Well, I hope so, 'cause I want this peace between Bill and Liam to last." It's going to last about 0.2 seconds.

Talk turns to Steffy and Liam and Steffy admits they've have some challenges.

Steffy: "Sally was the one who started the war between Liam and Bill." BILL started that war.

Brooke, stating the obvious: "But she didn't torch a building."

Steffy handwaves that away: "Yeah, but Liam didn't have to ride in on his white horse and rescue her."

Brooke: "You know how he likes to root for the underdog." Brooke knows a thing or three about Liam.

Steffy scowls: "I know, I know. And that's one of the reasons why I love him. But this time I think he just went a little too far."

Brooke presses if things are truly worked out and Steffy insists they are: "Yeah, they're all working together, and there's no place for Sally. Her influence over my husband is finally over." I'd say Steffy has been wrong about just about everything today.

Over at SF, Sally is reviewing some paperwork.

I love her blouse and tousled hair.

Sally1.jpg.dea6cab56df494fb17f7e08a9260c7d9.jpg

Grams comes in and asks after Liam.

Shirley: "Heard your guardian angel left awhile ago. So sad. Look at these invoices!"

Sally: "Already did. Just go ahead and pay them."

Shirley scoffs: "What happened to your boy?

Sally: "Liam is not my boy, grams. He just stopped by to give us some news. Bill is back at Spencer Publications." Shirley gulps, dropping the invoices.

Shirley: "So, the evil prince is back? Now what?!"

Sally: "Nothing's changed."

Shirley: "Not yet, but-"

Sally cuts her off: "Bill can't touch us. We own the property."

Shirley: "He is a snake! He will find a way!" Shirley is far more wise to the ways of the world and its movers and shakers than her granddaughter.

Sally: "Not a chance."

Shirley: "Says who? Oh, wait. The boyfriend."

Sally raises her eyebrows, correcting her: "The benefactor, to whom I will be forever grateful."

Shirley: "You can just stop right now. It's written all over your face. You are crushing on Liam Spencer! And yes, he's married to Steffy, but for how long?" How long indeed.

Sally insists that she doesn't have a crush on Liam. Yeah, I don't believe her either. Not that I blame her.

Sally also reminds her grandmother that Liam is very married and she's not a homewrecker.

Shirley presses her to admit her true feelings and Sally caves.

Sally: "Okay. I admit it. Yes. Liam is the greatest man that I've ever met. He's turned my life around."

Shirley: "And you deserve that, honey. You suffered so much. You've been let down so many times, and now you've met a kind, decent man who treats you with respect. There are too few of them around."

Sally: "He's done the unbelievable. He's helping make my dreams come true."

Shirley: "And they will. You'll see."

Sally smiles as she looks around her restored office: "Our building! It's ours! Spectra is back, Grams, and it is all thanks to Liam."

Yeah...about that...

We cut to SP where Liam has just walked in on the cozy little Sky is back baby! meeting between his father, brother, and Justin.

30.10.2017+%25282%2529.png

He's immediately suspicious and I can't imagine why. They don't look guilty...at all...

30.10.2017+%25281%2529.png

Liam: "We're all equals, right?"

Bill: "You, me, and Wyatt. That's right."

Liam: "Okay, so why does it feel like I'm out of the loop? 'Cause clearly I am. What's going on?"

Bill: "You left my office. Now you're back. You're right in the loop. This is what's going on, or up."

30.10.2017+%25284%2529.png

Liam: "Yeah, your pet project." He throws a disgusted look at Sky.

30.10.2017+%25286%2529.png

Bill: "She will be built. A landmark moment in the history of the Spencer family."

Liam throws out other suggestions but Bill shoots them down while Wyatt stands there, watching the floor.

30.10.2017+%25288%2529.png

Bill: "I want you on board with this, son."

Liam: "On board with what? The property belongs to Sally."

Bill: "The property belongs to the Spencer trust, like most everything else in this company."

Liam: "Yes, and I signed it over to Sally. She has the deed now."

Justin interjects: "Exactly. No one can sign over anything from the trust without the signature of the trustee."

30.10.2017+%252811%2529.png

Bill: "Sally doesn't own the property. Spencer Publications does." A dramatic pause to correct. "We do."

Liam is in disbelief. Seriously, how can he be this damn gullible?

30.10.2017+%252812%2529.png

Liam: "Did we not just come to an understanding? The three of us running the company together as equals? We -- we signed documents. We have this in writing. Or you gonna change that, too?"

Bill: "Absolutely not. I meant every word I said. Family comes first. A lot of the programs you initiated, I'm keeping them. But Sky I will not give in on."

Wyatt: "Yeah, look, it's called a compromise, Liam. You get to keep some of the programs you put in place. Dad gets to put up his building."

Bill: "Our building. This is a monument to each and every one of us."

Liam: "And Spectra just gets the wrecking ball?"

Bill: "They can relocate, Liam."

30.10.2017+%252816%2529.png

Wyatt: "Yeah, it's not like it's the end of their company, Liam." Go back to sticking your head up Bill's ass. That and servicing Katie are about all he's good for these days.

Liam wheels on his brother: "You! How are you okay with this after everything he did to sally? The fake review, the lie about Caroline, torching their building, and destroying their collection. I mean, any of us care about fairness? Fairness? Anybody? Honor? Decency?"

30.10.2017+%252820%2529.png

I think the answer to that is:

tenor.gif?itemid=5755709

Bill: "We're all about fairness, honor, and decency. Even me. I'm working on it, Liam! But gifting? Gifting a prime piece of downtown real estate to a woman who had nothing? She didn't earn that. She was given it. Now she's a major landowner?"

Liam is furious: "What are you talking about, Dad? You were so threatened by the imminence of her success that you had to actually set her building on fire just to stop her momentum! That's how confident you were that she had earned it! God,  you love to talk about how you built this empire with your own hands." Um, the empire was already built by Bill Sr. "Well, guess what? If somebody had been sabotaging you the way you sabotaged Sally, none of us would be here right now. So don't talk to me about 'earning it.' You owe Sally. You owe her. And I'm not gonna let you do this."

Spencer-men-Justin-debate-BB-HW.jpg

Desperate now, he throws out other options (Anaheim, Century City etc) and both Bill and his mouthpiece (Wyatt) shoot him down.

Bill: "Okay, enough! Enough! I have looked at this from every angle! And the perfect spot is on the Spectra site downtown. Now, I understand that this is upsetting for you, Liam, but trust me when I tell you that years from now, you will look at that skyscraper, see the Spencer name on top, and you will beam with pride, and so will your wife and children!"

Liam: "No, they won't, because I'm not letting you do it! You're not building that thing on the Spectra lot!"

Bill: "The hell I'm not! That building is coming down and Wyatt and I are standing firm on that!"

Liam: "Oh, oh, Wyatt and you? Wyatt and you are-" He looks at his brother. "Is that true?"

Wyatt: "All right, look. You're my brother."

Liam, knowing what's coming: "Dude..."

Wyatt: "And I love you." But I love being up Dad's ass more.

Liam scoffs and shakes his head.

Wyatt: "But you've been running this company for only a short time. You made a lot of changes, some of them I agree with. Dad is completely right about what he's saying. No, you gifted that property to Sally Spectra, and it's way too much! Plus you know how your wife feels about her."

Wyatt-warn-Liam-BB-HW.jpg

Liam: "Uh, dude, I'll handle my marriage, thanks."

Wyatt: "I'm just saying."

Liam: "What are you just saying? What are you just saying? What are you saying? That it's just gonna be this way from now on? You kissing dad's butt all the time?" Ding, ding, ding!

Wyatt: "Oh, my-" Stop. You're embarrassing yourself.

Liam: "Positioning yourself? Being his yes man? Think for yourself, bro! Tell him no! This is insane!"

Wyatt: "I would, but I don't think this is insane. This is going to be our hub, our corporate headquarters. Like he said, it's gonna be our legacy. Why shouldn't it be impressive?"

Liam cannot believe this shit: "If -- impr-- it's not about impressive, Wyatt! It's about ethics, okay?! Sometimes the right thing is not the right thing for our business!"

Wyatt: "Liam, we run an international company here, not a charity shop!"

Liam: "So...what? So just majority rules?"

Bill: "Majority rules."

Liam insists he doesn't care, that he's not on board with this and he's not letting Bill tell SF down.

Bill: "Liam, I don't want to fight with you. I want those days to be behind us. This is time for respect."

Liam: "For whom? Just you?" Yep.

Wyatt: "Come on, Liam. We're keeping some of your programs. Isn't that respect enough?"

Liam just laughs: "No....No."

Bill: "Your brother's right. We've compromised a lot." They haven't compromised for shit. "Now it's time for you to do the same. Listen, I am your father. I have built this company into what it is today. It's been my life's work and I know what's best for it and I know what's best for our family."

Liam: "That's fine, but what about Sally? You ruined her. You admitted that you ruined her. Now, don't you owe her?"

Bill: "Out of hardship comes progress. Sally will thrive wherever she lands." OMFG.

Liam: "You didn't answer my question. Sally doesn't want to land 'anywhere,' Dad. She wants to stay put where she was before you torched her building!"

Bill: "You are fighting for this girl that you hardly know against me, your own father!"

Wyatt: "Didn't we make a pledge to put family first? This is a family project." Wyatt needs a good dose of this right about now.

tenor.gif?itemid=8649162

Bill: "The most significant project in a generation and you're standing in the way of it because you're enamored to this pretty, little redhead?"

Liam: "Stop! Oh, stop it with the 'pretty, little redhead' stuff. She's a person. She's a human being and you have treated her unfairly. You have treated her with disrespect. Am I wrong?"

30.10.2017+%252818%2529.png

Bill has the good grace to look a bit sheepish here: "Point taken. There. You see? I can learn from you. I have! I've even offered to help relocate her! But Liam, there is a limit to all this. What about loyalty to me, to family, to your brother, to employees?"

30.10.2017+%252821%2529.png

Bill continues: "Now, I am asking - no, I am demanding! I am demanding that as I have learned from you, you learn from me! Sky is going up on the Spectra site and I want you to accept it! No, you know what I want? I want you to be part of it, Liam. I want you to be part of the greatest chapter in this family's history!" The greatest chapter? I'd say one of the worst chapters. "We just got through a miserable time. I don't want us to be at war with each other. I don't ever want to go back to that. I want you to accept this, Liam. You have to accept it. Sally and her group, they're going out. The Spectra building is coming down. This beautiful edifice, it's going up." He polishes Sky while his sons watch. One of them about to retch. The other (predictable as fuck) is staring at the floor.

30.10.2017+%252823%2529.png

Bill finishes his long-winded speech:  "I want you to be part of this. I want all of us to be part of it. You got to be smart about this. Stop with this defense of Sally and Spectra. Put it away. Be done with it. Be one of us. Be a Spencer."

I kind of want to punch all three of them right now.

Bill for being an ass period.

Liam for being that damn dumb.

Hell to the N-O, NO!

If Steffy ends up pregnant with a WTD, Liam should be done with her trifling ass forever. Unfortunately, I believe if she gets pregnant and the show allows it to live, it'll be Liam's which means he'll be tied to this heffa until the show ends.

Custody battlewise, the only power Liam could have is if he's the bio father; the Forresters will rally around Steffy and Bill will cut Liam off and pull every crappy move in the book to protect what's his. Liam's only power would be the baby is his and if he somehow got his hands on the recording to make it public and send Bill's ass to prison. Liam gets his kid and Spencer.

Liam, however, I believe will be able to move on with Sally for a bit. Steffy will be trying to get him back while Bill plays the Wyatt role in trying to make her see that they're meant to be.

Gotta admit the one thing I'd be pissed about if I was DD is if I'm playing second fiddle in the love department to my onscreen son. $Bill is the stallion with Wyatt apparently coming up a nice strong second with Liam...well....he cuddles nice?

Bill, have Justin explain the concept of “detrimental reliance.” That’s when an innocent party relies to its detriment on something done by another. In this case, the detrimental reliance would be Sally incurring debts based on the ostensibly legal conveyance of the property to her. She could definitely sue Spencer Publications.

This coming from the literal bastard child of Bill Spencer Sr, who got his because his dying daddy sicced him onto Eric and the Forrester family.  He wants to look down on her for this?

She just pewtered out. Her scheme with Marco or whatever his name is was found out, Eric and Quinn teamed up to call her out and she left. Presumably, its because Kimberlin Brown is making a run for Congress IRL so theres no chance of her being brought to Y&R to keep that sinking ship afloat.

Wyatt has turned back into a chicken head. His hairdo confirms it. Steffy Steffy Steffy, your blaming Sally for coming between Liam and his father.  Steffy thinks she's a real bad ass which is an act to cover up her insecurities.  Steffy would not survive if she had to live and work in the real world.

Darlita and Sol are absolutely adorable. Sally, looked beautiful also.  Steffy's costume wasn't bad either. Oh wait, Steffy wasn't wearing a costume.

Thanks, Anna. That was a let down with Sheila. I was so hoping someone would just shoot her dead. Why does Steffy DeadAnimalOnHerHead keep showing up at Sally’s office? Doesn’t she have a job? Oh, that’s right. She’s too busy running all over LA sticking her nose into everyone’s business. Gosh, I hate that character and the dead animal on her brainless head. Love Sally, Carlitta and Saul. They were so cute today!

ITA that was a ridiculous notion of Liam's. As pissed off as I am with Bill, I have to agree with him that enough is enough where Sally is concerned.  Surely, they could come to some kind of resolution where in exchange for Sally's permanent silence, SP could relocate SF to a facility that Sally could own free and clear, float her a loan for upgrades, equipment, etc., pay off the loans she took out against the building she thought she owned and even do some type of assessment to compensate her for lost income from the designs and potential sales lost due to the fire.  I think that out of gratitude toward Liam, that Sally would be OK with that.

Liam should have seen the deceit coming from his old man a mile away, so fool Liam.  He's an idiot for falling for that ruse and I am growing weary of his do-gooder mantle and this story either needs to hustle along to something, anything and move forward.

Hmmmm......I wonder what's going to happen now that Priceless Steffy knows that Sally knows that $Bill torched the building?   Liam's gonna get the wrecking ball and Sally's going to go to the cops.  I said it pages ago.  The fire department was quietly investigating the fire, realized it was arson, and arrests Bill.  There's more storyline bang for the buck with that storyline than some lame ass invalid land title due to the trustee not signing it.

I loved the opening credits with the various costumes interspersed among the cast.  Way cool.

Sally is a beautiful woman.  Quinn is a beautiful woman.  Brooke is a beautiful woman.  Priceless Steffy is an insecure plastic doll.  The imperfect human mannequin.  There is nothing real about her.

The face paint on Darlita and Saul was exquisite.

I find it fascinating that this show has an embarrassment of riches when it comes to beautiful women.  What do these beautiful women have in common, particularly the 40-something Quinn and the 50-something Brooke?  Their faces still move and their lines should be considered badges of honor to good living.  They both have the most amazing jewel colored eyes I've ever seen.  It's easy to see why men would fall for them, and neither is a slouch when it comes to book smarts.

And, yet...Brad Bell & Co. persist in propping up this amoral slag with animal pelts for hair, a monotone voice, and "enhancements" that do her no favors whatsoever.  Bitch needs to take her slippery, stank ass to a racetrack and take several seats.  The desperation by TIIC in trying to gaslight the audience into buying that Slippery Slag Steffy is a femme fatale and Everywoman is palpable, not to mention insulting to the audience's intelligence.  Don't even get me started on the real beauties in Slippery Slag Steffy's demographic, namely Ivy and Sally.  What do they have to do, particularly Ivy, to get some play?  The only thing that mean-spirited bitch has going for her is an over-inflated opinion of herself and the name "Forrester" on her birth certificate.  Oh, and an open-leg policy.  TIIC need to quit it because it seems to be turning the audience off.

Recap for Tuesday, 10/31/17:

It's Halloween, ya'll!

TPTB got festive with the credits, adding some old timey crackly special effects to make it look and sound like old footage along with interspersing various shots of creepy non-regulars and scary sounds.

Creepiest of all was this vampira bitch (shudders).

We open at SP where Bill is thisclose to losing it when Liam continues to dig in his heels about Sky being built on Spectra property.

Bill, between gritted teeth: "It's not Spectra property!"

Liam-Wyatt-Bill-shout-point-BB-HW.jpg

Wyatt, ass kissing as always, "helpfully" suggests Liam accept it "or else."

Liam continues to argue against relocating Spectra and that there are plenty of other alternatives that don't include taking down the building.

Arguing ensues with Liam calling out Bill's sincerity when he said he wanted to be a more compassionate person.

Bill: "I meant what I said, but putting off building the skyscraper is non-negotiable."

Justin enters and almost retreats, seeing the unpleasant scene before him but Liam insists he come in and share whatever news he has.

Justin: "The demolition team is ready to bulldoze Spectra whenever you give the go-ahead."

Bill says that he'll give Sally money to relocate and even send a team over to help her pack. Big of him.

Liam is livid when he hears this and says it's not just a building, it's the history, including Aunt Sally's spirit, and what it means to Sally and her crew.

Bill: "I've compromised. You need to compromise as well." Dafaq?

Bill's offer to help them relocate is not even close to what SF is owed after their building and very promising collection was torched on his orders. I seriously wish Liam had just gone to the police with the confession and let the law decide what Sally was owed. At a minimum, she would have kept the property and been awarded some serious damages, more than enough to start over while Bill, Justin, and whatever other lackeys were involved cooled their heels in the clink.

Liam asks Bill to give SF a year to get established, then they can help Sally relocate if the business doesn't take off.

Look at Wyatt, pretending to give the idea consideration.

Wyatt1.thumb.jpg.3f911ae08061f14c5a061c3dfcbea55e.jpg

Bill looks like he's a heartbeat away from laughing outright but lets Liam prattle on.

Bill1.thumb.jpg.4eb31e824446e93175da29933d29c699.jpg

He finally finishes his pitch and Bill pops up out of his chair like a jack in the box.

giphy.gif

Sorry, couldn't resist. It is Halloween after all.

He puts it to a vote and tells Wyatt to break the tie.

I'm sure you'll be shocked to hear pussy Wyatt sides with his father. Again.

Why Liam is stunned at this point is beyond me but yep, he's catching flies again.

Liam1.thumb.jpg.dda2a56bee26c44fb43912571b832460.jpg

Bill tells him to tell Sally to start packing: "Spectra's coming down, Son...and there's nothing you can do to stop it. Nothing."

Oh yeah? Liam's face seems to say.

Liam2.thumb.jpg.b28d0f109e128aef542f75f6c797d285.jpg

Liam: "But I will. I will stop you. Maybe not like this. But I will stop you."

His game face is ON.

Liam3.jpg.2ce9cd9afcb6f7a093eb67c0579b6776.jpg

Bill just smirks in response.

Bill2.jpg.1a833f054e55b0d3075154c9e6cd1034.jpg

He's underestimated Liam before and now, he's really pissed off his middle son, so I think this time, Bill is going down.

Time will tell.

..................................................................................

Over at SF, an unsuspecting Sally is blissfully working away when Saul and Darlita pop in to show off their Halloween costumes.

I'm in love with their paper doll outfits and make up. Beyond cute.

31.10.2017+%25280%2529.png

Sally loves them, too.

31.10.2017+%25281%2529.png

They share they have a costume for her as well, big grins on their faces.

31.10.2017+%25282%2529.png

Darlita: "Close your eyes and take off your blouse."

Sally's a bit thrown by that.

31.10.2017+%25285%2529.png

But Darlita tells a disappointed Saul to turn around and Sally is happy to commence with the costume trying-on.

31.10.2017+%25286%2529.png

Her eyes are still closed as Darlita dresses her.

31.10.2017+%25287%2529.png

Saul's face says it all:

31.10.2017+%25288%2529.png

Sally looks absolutely gorgeous in a lavender princess gown (a perfect complement to her red locks) including a sparkly tiara.

31.10.2017+%25289%2529.png

It's obviously a nod to Sally's dubbing Steffy as "princess" but we all know she's the real deal.

Sally takes a moment to admire her reflection and there's a bit of little girl giddiness in her expression that warms my heart.

31.10.2017+%252810%2529.png

The happy moment comes to a screeching halt as Fauxdilocks, dressed as Elvira I guess, struts into the office.

31.10.2017+%252811%2529.png

Sally, not missing a beat: "From one princess to another, Happy Halloween!"

31.10.2017+%252812%2529.png

Fauxdi looks decidedly unamused or constipated. Take your pick.

31.10.2017+%252813%2529.png

Steffy, glancing at their costumes: "This might be the best work I've seen from Spectra." This heifer...

Saul and Darlita quickly scurry out and I don't blame them. Sally pulls off the costume and faces her nemesis head on.

Steffy looks around at the office in that haughty way of her's, remarking on how the renovation is coming along.

Sally: "We're moving along faster than we expected...thanks to Liam."

31.10.2017+%252814%2529.png

Steffy pulls a face at the mention of her husband.

But Sally wipes that look off her face when she reveals that she knows that it was Bill who set the fire, but she's kept quiet about it, even though Bill is back at the helm at SP.

To say Steffy is beyond pissed that Liam confided in Sally is an understatement although I think Sally had already put two and two together. I think she's also pissed at the thought that Sally keeping quiet when she could (and should have) gone to the cops shows how truly classy she is.

Sally chalks it up to Liam being kind and decent. Two words that could never be used to describe Fauxdi.

Steffy whines about Sally using her husband and that she won't be able to use him to make their company a success, fake simpering that she feels sorry for her.

31.10.2017+%252815%2529.png

I'd like to punch her, right in her Joker's smile.

Sally insists that she can be a success all on her own.

Steffy tries to snatch a drawing right off Sally's desk. Who the fuck does this wench think she is? Sally stops her and tugs it away, saying she doesn't want Forrester stealing from Spectra.

31.10.2017+%252816%2529.png

Steffy just laughs and laughs as if it's the funniest thing she's ever heard. Then why were you looking, trollop?

31.10.2017+%252817%2529.png

Her laughter fades when she spies the photo of Liam Grams tacked to the wall.

31.10.2017+%252819%2529.png

Sally explains that her Grams pinned it up there as a reminder of their "patron saint."

Steffy thinks there's more to it: "Don't be getting any ideas. Liam stood up for you and it almost cost him his relationship with his father." What relationship? "The only thing that can come between them is you."

Sally has had enough: "All right, stop! This is getting ridiculous. I have no-"

Steffy interrupts so can (attempt) to take Sally down a peg or two: "I mean it, Sally. I really do. You were just a little project - Liam, he gave you this building. (which Bill is going to take right back). It's over now. You don't need a savior anymore. You're not the underdog any longer. "

Sally shoots back: "Tell that to your father-in-law. If he could get this building back, Spectra would be dust in a nanosecond. Heck, it already would be if Liam hadn't come in to rescue us so excuse me for being grateful, for admiring Liam." Her voice softens and she looks the heifer straight between her Botoxed eyes. "Look, I already said it once...Steffy, you really are a princess (puke!). And you are married to an honest-to-goodness prince."

She sits back down, clearly down with this conversation.

But of course, Steffy isn't finished trying to make Sally feel like dirt.

Steffy: "The prince, Sally...is the prince to everyone. Look, I know it's been hard for you after the fire, but Liam gifted you with this building. He got you back into the game."

Sally: "Is that what worries you, Princess? That your husband is aiding and abetting the enemy?"

Steffy: "Honey...I don't even think you're in my league."

fuck_you_lipstick_veronica_mars.gif

How Sally didn't leap over the desk and slap the pork fried flavor out of her lips with the "honey" shows she's a better woman than I.

Sally shrugs it off: "Oh gee, thanks."

Steffy "But that doesn't stop you from wanting what I have."

Sally: "A boatload of money and the proper pedigree?"

Steffy: "Someone special...someone to make you feel like anything's possible."I loathe her so much. Throwing up the someone special to her when she knows good and well Sally had something special in Thomas and she helped Bill sabotage it. Well, be careful of what you wish for, bitch...because karma is about to bite you in your fake ass.

Sally: "Anything IS possible."

31.10.2017+%252822%2529.png

Steffy snots: "No...some things will never happen. For instance...my husband spending time with you, you get Spectra back on its feet...it won't go beyond that." That's for Liam to decide. Not you. She turns away, all triumphant, thinking so I've said it, so it shall be done.

Sally lets her take a step away towards the door then stands, throwing out this little cutting remark: "Do I detect a little insecurity, Princess? "

Steffy in this sugary, simpering, totally bitch of the manor tone: "Noooo...no, I have no insecurity when it comes to MY husband and MY marriage." Oh, I think she is a bit insecure (thus the visit and the figurative peeing on Liam grandstanding), but she's too stupid to truly see the cracks in her marriage, ones she created, so much so that instead of being focused on being there for her husband, she's consoling her father in law/ex-almost lover. "But if you have more feelings towards my husband other than gratitude...well, you're gonna be disappointed. So be smart..." She gestures toward the picture of Liam. "That photo needs to GO and you need to get on with your life and stop leaning on Liam." I was struck by how these words could have been spoken to Steffy. By Hope.

OMG, she is still not finished.

Steffy: "You reap the benefits of his goodness. Don't try for more."

31.10.2017+%252823%2529.png

She turns and finally goes and please, can't this happen to her?

oz-witch-wizard-ruby-red-slippers-wester

Or this...I'm not picky.

I’ve never thought the actress who plays Steffy was very talented but lately she’s been positively wooden. No expression on her face or in her voice makes her seem like she’s just phoning it in.

Really thinking about it Bill, can't have enough money to build Sky unless he's a multi multi billionaire.  With a skyscraper, not only would you have to purchase the land but, to protect his investment,  Bill should purchase the air rights, from property owners, adjacent to Sky.  Air rights aren't cheap. Demolition and clearing the rubble is not cheap either. Bill foresees all the wonderful benefits , of Sky, but construction will take years and his money would be tied up until then. In addition, there is no guarantee how fast the building would be occupied enough to turn a profit.

Bill is a cheater. So in his eyes, Liam is also a cheater.  He's continues to plant this idea into Steffy so he can plant the idea of revenge sex. Another Bill concept that he won't be cheating on Brooke but having revenge sex.

Why would Liam think that Steffy would be complicit with the protest?  Is Liam trusting or stupid?  I would say both.

I’m fairly certain they were.

in fact, even Liam said it to her during one of JMW’s flyby visits when he was with Ivy, before Show decided to grace us with her presence permanently.

This breakup will be all the more satisfying because unlike all the times Liam left her before, he wasn’t madly in love with someone else beforehand. He won’t be “robbed” or “manipulated.” And much like Ivy when she first came on, Sally has her own independent goals. If and when Liam leaves her for the sake of the spawn she’ll inevitably be knocked up with by Christmas (because we know Queen Stephanie II will sure as fuck use that little token to reel him in....you know, like the last time ?), she won’t have time to sit on her laurels and go batshit....I hope.

I admit, I really don’t see sizzling chem between SC and CH and they work better as friends, but I won’t mind if they get together. But I hope it’s because he genuinely sees Sally for having the same good heart he has and not as a revenge boink when he finds out what Steffy did.

Speaking of Still...oh boy. It’s obvious Bill was trying to play on Steffy’s insecurities today. Lord knows Liam’s earned his fuccboi status and Bill was trying to plant that seed in her head that he would end up in her bed before long. Good God. ?? See, the reason he waffled between her and Hope is because he actually...you know...had a relationship with her. One that Steffy put herself in the middle of for her own shallow reasons. And when Steffy left things alone, Bill went in to meddle. There won’t be any waffling this time, at least not before the paternity reveal.

still, Bill is in no position to judge anyone.

The building will never turn a profit.  No sooner will the ribbon be cut than the San Andreas Fault cuts loose on Los Angeles and levels Sky killing Will in the process and hopefully "she-who-wears-dead-animals".  I can't say I despise JMW because I don't know the woman, but I absolutely despise the character she plays.

Recap for Wed. 11/1/17:

We open with a close up of the stupid tower with its cheap-ass looking lettering.

01.11.2017+%25280%2529.png

Bill is sitting in his chair, admiring it as usual.

01.11.2017+%25281%2529.png

Fauxdi saunters into Bill's office like she owns the place, whining about how she has her own company to run.

01.11.2017+%25282%2529.png

Bill clearly couldn't care less as he looks over and grins.

01.11.2017+%25283%2529.png

Steffy immediately notices Sky and looks pissed.

01.11.2017+%25284%2529.png

Bill tells her that he's still building his skyscraper because the SF property belongs to him.

She sighs, all long-suffering, whining some more about him fighting with Liam again.

Bill: "He made his case. I made mine. We took a VOTE!"

Steffy: "Lemme guess. Wyatt sided with YOU."

Bill: "Because I made the better argument." No, because Wyatt's so far up your ass, if you wait a few weeks, you'll find a diamond where Wyatt's head used to be. "Come on, Steffy...you know that property was more valuable to Spencer than it is to Spectra."

Steffy, shrilly now: "Is this really how's it gonna be, Bill? Honestly?" Oh quit with the Bambi in the headlights act, Steffy. You know Bill far too well to play at living in the land of Naivete now. "You and Wyatt...against Liam."

01.11.2017+%25286%2529.png

Bill protests: "Nobody's against anybody. We're all Spencers doing what's best for the company. Making decisions together as a family. Liam just happened to come out short this time. That's all." He really believes the BS he's shoveling right now.

Steffy dropping the naive bit "Come on! He didn't stand a chance."

Bill: "Does he deserve it, Steffy? Really? Put aside the fact that he's your husband aside for the moment and put on your business head. Because YOU have one. Liam gave a multi-million dollar piece of property to a woman with less business acumen than my preschooler. What he did was vindictive." Oh, I'd say arson is far more vindictive. "And reckless."

Steffy: "Okay, he was trying to right a wrong."

01.11.2017+%25288%2529.png

Bill, rugsweeping as always, "That's all been forgiven. We're past that." That wasn't Liam's to forgive.

Steffy questions if they're just going to go from one conflict to another and Bill insists he's trying to do the opposite. Su-ure. He insists he's bending over backwards to compromise. Hardly. He blathers on about his so-called compromise that includes upending Sally and crew when they are right in the middle of production for their next line as if it's of no consequence.

01.11.2017+%25287%2529.png

So it looks like Bill has removed all of the photos sans the nice 8x10 of himself.

And she falls for it, calling it "reasonable." Would she also find it reasonable if FC were expected to do the same? I don't think so.

She steps over to the tower and let me guess, she's falling under its spell much as she's fallen under the spell of its creator.

He tells her Liam wasn't happy with the compromise and that he's on his way to tell Sally the bad news.

He boasts how he could have put up an eviction notice and dragged them out by "their clown noses." Nice.

Bill: "I'm playing nice. Now, you have to get Liam to see that we're on the same team."

01.11.2017+%25289%2529.png

Yeah, good luck with that.

............................................................................

Over at SF, it's a flurry of activity with fabrics being assessed and cut, Sally administering praise (and bestowing a peck on the cheek to a stunned and happy Saul), and Grams exclaiming over Sally's latest designs which look fabulous.

Liam arrives a few moments, his face a mask of sadness.

Grams throws him some praise before heading out to see how things are going with the twelve new sewers they've hired.

Liam wastes no time in telling Sally: "Sally, I am so sorry."

01.11.2017+%252811%2529.png

Sally is confused and doesn't understand his meaning,

01.11.2017+%252812%2529.png

He shares that SP still owns SF and that his father blocked the transfer of ownership and is taking the property back.

01.11.2017+%252813%2529.png

Sally sighs, telling him she needs at least a few more weeks to get things up and running before she can make payments on the building.

Liam: "It's not about the money. My father wants to build his skyscraper here."

01.11.2017+%252816%2529.png

He fully lowers the boom when he tells her that demolition crew is ready to go.

01.11.2017+%252814%2529.png

Sally is thunderstruck but yet not, somehow feeling all along this was too good to be true: "Where are we supposed to go? I can't keep fighting and losing."

She walks away, reeling, sitting down by the window. Liam watches her, his heart breaking for her. I'm sure he's regretting his decision to delete the recording (although what ever happened to the plot thread that he had a copy sent to his personal email?)

01.11.2017+%252818%2529.png

He sits next to her in solidarity.

01.11.2017+%252819%2529.png

Sally struggles to comprehend how Bill could hate her this much and Liam sadly tells her, "It's worse...he's indifferent."

01.11.2017+%252820%2529.png

She is still trying to process the news when an enthusiastic Saul, Darlita, and Grams come into the office, thrilled about the new line.

Sally, hating this, bursts their happy little bubble, revealing that she doesn't own the building and that Bill intends to demolish it - this week.

Shirley is furious, proclaiming: "If they want to bring in that wrecking ball, they'll have to go through me first."

Sally-Liam-Shirley-building-talk-BB-CD.j

That gets Liam's attention: "There's an idea."

The spirit of the '60s is in the room as they talk about staging a sit-in, a tactic Bill won't expect.

Grams is first in line to volunteer and Darlita quickly agrees. Saul is nervous but agrees he's in.

Liam stuns everyone when he announces he's going to join them and stand up to his bully of a father, stating: "This is the right thing. I won't let him tear this building down."

He heads out after assuring Sally he'll be back soon.

Sally hugs Saul and Darlita and thanks them for their support.

01.11.2017+%252821%2529.png

Later, when the two of them are alone, a worried Sally tells Gram her fear that Bill won't care who's inside the building, Liam included, (I think she's right about that) and will proceed regardless.

They are both in awe of his willingness to fight for them.

Sally: "He has nothing to gain from this. He's fighting because it's right, even if it means saving our lives could ruin his."

Liam arrives home and opens the French doors from the bedroom to take in the sound of the waves crashing outside.

A robe-clad, wet-haired Steffy comes in behind him.

Steffy: "That's bad timing."

Liam smiles sadly: "Why?"

She comes over to embrace him: "If you've gotten here a few minutes sooner, you could have joined me in the shower." She kisses him to drive the point home.

Liam: "Oh..."

Steffy, on unsure footing since he isn't immediately succumbing to her advances as usual, "Might, uh, have helped with the stress."

Liam realizes she talked to his father and she confirms it, stepping away from her: "How could he do that? Just ignored everything we talked about and played me like a fiddle." He plops down on the bed, completely dejected.

Steffy: "It wasn't a valid deal. And the property still belongs to Spencer Publications." Conveniently ignoring the arson and taking Bill's side. Again.

Liam, staring off into space, barely hearing her: "He's gonna demolish it. He made me go over there to tell them. They were shell-shocked." Liam, you are wasting your breath. This heiferous bitch will not care.

Steffy, quieter now: "Bill said he was willing to help them relocate. Maybe that's not a bad thing." He gives her a look. "I mean, Spectra is an old building." Built when they knew how to build. "A newer facility might help." She goes to sit next to him on the bed. "It's not the best solution but nobody's threatening to put them out of business." She ruffles her fingers through the hair at his temples, clearly trying to distract him. A little late to play the loyal, dutiful wife now.

Liam looks at her like she's an idiot (newsflash - she is): "They're in the middle of production, Steffy." She keeps on ruffling as if it's of no consequence. "I mean, you know what it would take for them to shut all that down and start over someplace else? They needed this season." He gives her a look like stop fucking around with my hair. "I'm not gonna let my dad do that to them again." But she just keeps playing with his hair. "In fact, I think I found a way to stop him."

Steffy: "How?" Assuming it won't be anything.

Liam: "A sit-in." He looks her square in the eye and her hand stops.

Steffy: "A what?"

Liam: "You know...like a protest."

Steffy: "You want Sally to stay inside the building while it's being destroyed." Her face is equal parts horrified and thrilled at the possibility of offing her rival.

Liam: "Not just Sally. All of 'em. Me, too." That gets her attention.

Steffy: "WHAT?"

Liam, hilariously ignoring her: "What am I doing? I got to pack, I got to get food and water." He stands up and walks away from her, his mind racing.

Steffy: "Liam...wait a minute."

She tells him to hold on and that he's being crazy while he's talking flashlights and blankets, knowing his father will cut off the electricity.

Liam: "Steffy, you know something? I stood up to my father once before and you know what happened? He tricked me. He tricked me into backing down. I'm not gonna let that happen again."

Steffy: "Bill is willing to compromise!" If by compromise, you mean Liam makes all the concessions while Bill makes none, sure. "I know you feel for Sally, but this is not gonna work! Bill didn't do anything wrong!" Is she for fucking real with this? Has she forgotten Bill had the building burned down and someone could have gotten killed as a result? "He owns the building!" As if that makes it all ok. "This protest is ridiculous!" Meaning, you, Liam, are ridiculous!

Liam fires back: "He is doing something wrong! He keeps attacking Sally over and over again and she's defenseless."

Steffy, arguing: "He offered to help."

Liam coolly corrects her: "No. He offered to let Sally watch him destroy her family legacy."

Steffy: "Why is this so important to you?" Because right is right? "Why are you so attached to this project?" Because Sally isn't human to her. She's just a thing.

Liam: "What is that?" And see, I don't think he has any feelings for Sally at all at this point, beyond friendship and normal human compassion. He breaks it down like she's five (which not a stretch). "'Project?' It's not a 'project,' Steffy. It's just life. It's just fairness, okay? It's doing the right thing."

01.11.2017+%252822%2529.png

Steffy, livid now: "And possibly risking your life, convincing others to do the same thing! And that's the right thing?" Very telling how even she thinks Bill won't give a damn who's in the building when he blows it up. " A sit-in? A sit-in!!! While they dynamite the building! Do you realize how dangerous that is? I'm not gonna let you do that! You're not doing this, Liam!"

01.11.2017+%252823%2529.png

They have a stare off, with her eyes all crazy and he gives her a look like "oh yes, I fucking am!"

Get those balls back, Liam!

On a lighter note, here's another look at Darlita and Saul's Halloween costumes. Too stinking cute!

Who made Liam Sally’s business agent? She should be the one to hear Bill’s offer and reject/accept/counter it.

No contractor is going to demolish a building knowing that people are in it. That would be a criminal act.

Yeah, I'm confused by the fact that everyone is on Liam's ass that he's risking his life when a) a building contractor will not blow up a building knowing people are inside BECAUSE IT'S A CRIME  and b) you'd think the person everyone is afraid will take lethal action -Bill- is the one they'd be appealing to.

This is the same shit they pull with Victor on Y&R. EVERYONE knows that old ass pulls heinous crap but instead of telling him to quit it, they tell his victims to get over it. Really?

The fact that everyone in show is putting it on Liam that it's his responsibility to not do a peaceful sit in protest that one would reasonably assume would not involve any lethal action is just stupid.  That's like telling those that protested in Charlottesville that they bear responsibility for getting run down by that crazy driver or an NFL protestor to not be surprised if NFL owners have thugs come after them if they decide to take a knee. Complete horsepoop.

Bill can play the trespassing card and have them escorted/carried out of the building. What he can't do is say 'fuck it, blow up the bitch' to 'get around' his problem protestors.

It's NOT Liam's fault that Bill doesn't give a crap and blows up the building without confirming that it is indeed empty. Why would he believe that his father would sink THAT low to literally choose a building over his son's life and blow him up? It was actually a pretty safe bet to make to force Bill to have to delay the rushed demolition.  As Bill said before regarding the arson -his people are to always make sure that no one gets hurt when these 'accidents' happen.

Having said all this, I agree that Sally should just take the money and move elsewhere if it wasn't for the niggling fact that Bill never stays true to his word. He lied to Liam about a change of heart and committed several crimes trying to root Spectra and ruin the company. His offer of seed money and a new location were going to have strings and/or vanish into thin air like all his promises.

Bill has proven he's a liar and a cheat. And once it gets out that he was the once who nearly killed his own son, that should actually be a business practice that topples his empire as he becomes radioactive and Karen has to step in to save the company from HIS bad decisions.

I need Darlita and Saul to be having their own sweet rom com web series. They're too cute!

I can't with this dumb shit anymore.  An actual sit-in?  For a motherfucking building?  How utterly insulting to those who conducted sit-ins for things that really mattered, i.e. their civil rights.

Why couldn't Sally just file a fucking injunction, or is that just too much like "right," and would interfere with the "shock and awe" storytelling the writers persist in shoving down viewers' throats?

And, because it needs to be said:  Stuffy is the kindest, most warmest, most generous, and bravest human being.  Oh, and, she's so beautiful and "the total package."

So, I've seen ads for Kim Matula's new project on FOX, and it looks like it'll be a hit. That also means no chance of her returning as Hope, which I would totally love if Liam pulled some strings to run a campaign for Spectra and Steffy tried to use Hope's presence to make Sally jealous. But Sally of course is like, "yeeeeeah, how about no." Because Sally isn't a jealous little girl and not even Hope for her arrogance would believe she could resume life where they left off after marrying his brother because Liam was 5 minutes late to the wedding after leaving LA for three years.

Meanwhile Hope and Ivy become a powercouple, the end. ?

Question: How were the explosive set and the structure weakened in a matter of hours?  If the building was to be demolished, than where are the city inspectors, police department and fire department?  These things are not done in a vacuum.  In addition, Bill just can't move their stuff on his own or move their persons without a court order.

Steffy is showing her insecurity once again. It's not about Liam having an eye towards Sally, it's about Liam's sense of right from wrong. It a concept that neither Bill nor Steffy truly understand.  They think that they are always right and everyone else is always wrong.

I'm sick of the funeral or black widow garb of Princess Stuffanie of Stuffeduppity, especially with certain dark sets.  In this sreen grab all I see is a floating head.  There is no definition between the Forester office and Stuffanie.  It's been driving me nuts for a while.....these floating heads.

Recast Hope with ex-Abigail from DAYS - and have her married to nuThomas in a surprise twist! Remember Thomas was sniffing after her at one point, Ridge 'adopting' her be damned. Maybe after Thomas realizes Caroline lied, he's too ashamed to return to Sally in L.A. And goes to Forrester Europe where he and Hope bond again.

Sally and Liam and Steffy and Wyatt and Brooke and Ridge wouldn't know what to do. ?

But the other twist would be they got married to deter themselves from going after the lost loves they want- Sally for Thomas and ???? (Liam? Wyatt? Oliver) for Hope. Thomas and Hope think their marriage will be enough to keep themselves on the straight and narrow but old feelings die hard and the marriage of convenience begins to fray....

Recap for Thurs. 11/2/17:

We open at FC. It's the next morning and a just-arrived Liam picks up right where he left off in arguing with Fauxdi over the sit-in.

02.11.2017+%25280%2529.png

She looks like she's ready to go motorcycling given her all-black get-up, including leather pants.

Steffy: "I won't let you do this. Bill is demolishing the building today!" I know most of the time, it hasn't felt this way, but you are not the boss of him, bitch. Not today, no ma'am.

Liam: "Not with me in it."

02.11.2017+%25281%2529.png

I wouldn't be too sure about that if I were you, Liam.

Steffy then grouses at him for spilling the beans about Bill torching SF to Sally and he insists she'd already figured it out on her own.

Continuing to grasp at straws, she whines about Sally having a photo of him tacked up in her office and Liam brushes that off as one of Shirley's strange idiosyncrasies.

Steffy: "I think Sally's got a crush on you."

02.11.2017+%25282%2529.png

And now I have that lovely 80s band Jet in my head.

IlliterateTediousFinch-max-1mb.gif

Liam: "There's nothing going on between Sally and me."

02.11.2017+%25283%2529.png

He assures her she's the only woman for him, kissing her, (blech!) but in the same breath, tells her he's not backing down.

He heads off for Spectra while Steffy stands there and pouts, her trout mouth on full display.

02.11.2017+%25287%2529.png

Wyatt arrives a few minutes, looking for Katie. To lay some pipe, presumably.

Steffy tells him she hasn't seen him, then grouses about Liam's recklessness.

Wyatt's ears perk up at his straight-laced brother being reckless.

He is stunned to hear Liam is planning to stage a sit-in with the Spectra crew.

Steffy: "He is going way too far, putting himself in harm's way for Sally Spectra."

If memory serves, I don't recall Liam ever risking life and limb for Steffy, which makes me smile like the Grinch who just stole Christmas. I'm sure that just sticks in this witch's craw like nothing in a long time has.

And she's so worried that she went to work, business as usual, slouching all casually carefree behind her desk, instead of, I don't know, doing something, anything, going to her father-in-law to tell him to back off would be a good start.

Wyatt-Steffy-discuss-Liam-BB-HW.jpg

Over at SP, Justin and Bill are meeting with the demolition crew, who assure them everything is good to go.

Bill looks at Sky and tells "her" she's going up and nothing is going to stop her. At this point, the only explanation I have for this tomfuckery is a brain tumor.

Liam arrives and pleads his case one last time, reiterating the option to wait a year.

02.11.2017+%252812%2529.png

We all know Bill waits for nothing and no one. Except Brooke. But I'm sure he won't make that "mistake" again.

Bill throws Liam a paltry bone by offering to go all out promoting Sally's new line after the relocation, but insists Sky will go up when and where as planned.

02.11.2017+%252813%2529.png

Liam shares that Sally and crew are staging a sit-in and that he'll be joining in.

Bill grins at this, not taking Liam seriously at all.

02.11.2017+%252814%2529.png

When he realize his son isn't joking, he laughs like it's the most hysterical thing he's ever heard, teasing Liam as to whether he's going to get a peace sign tattooed on his ass.

02.11.2017+%252815%2529.png

Liam calls Bill out on being a bully.

02.11.2017+%252816%2529.png

Predictably, Bill deflects from this, trotting out his sad tale of woe about all of his struggles to get to where he is today. I'm sure the struggles were mostly manufactured in his own delusional mind.

Bill expects family loyalty. He just doesn't reciprocate, apparently.

02.11.2017+%252817%2529.png

An exhausted Liam reiterates his plan to stop him and Bill calmly tells him the explosives are already in place.

Liam: "Then I guess you'll have to blow me up, too."

02.11.2017+%252819%2529.png

He leaves with Bill sitting behind his desk, contemplating whether or not to call Liam's bluff. I think we all know he's going to, the consequences be damned.

Sally and her crew arrive at SF, finding that all of their belongings have been removed to who knows where.

02.11.2017+%25288%2529.png

Darlita looks downright adorable in her denim overalls.

02.11.2017+%252810%2529.png

They settle in but Sally can tell they're leery of what will actually go down.

Sally: "With Liam on our side, there's a chance Bill could change his mind." No one looks reassured by that statement, Sally included.

02.11.2017+%252811%2529.png

Sally warns them that things could get dangerous and so they can go if they want but even though they're scared, they aren't leaving her and uneasily joke about being "revolutionaries."

Three members of the demo crew, the foreman included, enter, and tell them they can't be there.

Sally: "We're not leaving."

The workmen see that they're serious and shake their heads as they depart. No crew than I can think of would agree to move forward with people still inside because that...would be a crime.

We cut to outside the building where a giddy Justin has confirmed everything is set. $ Bill has arrived and Justin wonders why he's not more excited.

Bill reveals the Spectra crew is staging a sit-in with his own son leading the charge.

Back inside the building, the crew discusses what might happen.

Darlita: "Eventually, they're gonna try to make us leave. What do we do?"

Shirley: "We hold our ground as long as we can."

Sally: "Stand firm."

Shirley: "If they try to carry us out...so be it. Let the whole world watch."

Sally: "Maybe I'm naive, but I'm hoping it won't come to that with Liam involved."

Saul, visibly concerned that Liam hasn't shown yet: "Is he? Shouldn't he be here by now?"

Shirley gives Sally a look: "Saul's right. Check your phone." She does but there's no text, no missed calls.

Darlita: "Liam wouldn't just abandon us...right?"

Sally: "He'll be here!" But she is starting to wonder. She's been let down too many times to count.

And then he's there, standing in the doorway with a casual "hey." The relief on Sally's face, all of their faces, is palpable.

SF.thumb.jpg.36f4cd8863cf74bcf5680fa1952fd18e.jpg

Sally, as if she had no doubts all along, "See? Look! There he is."

Shirley: "Thank God. What's going on outside?"

Liam responds that the crew is checking the explosives and that they tried to stop him from coming inside, but he blew them off.

Sally: "Did you talk to Bill?" He indicates he did. "Well, that's in then. I mean, he doesn't care about us, but there's no way he's gonna blow this building up with Liam inside."

02.11.2017+%252821%2529.png

Liam doesn't look so sure.

Outside, Justin tells Bill that Liam wasn't bluffing and the crew saw him run inside. He glances askance at Bill: "What do you want to do?"

02.11.2017+%252820%2529.png

Bill sighs, then digs in his heels: "Show him we mean business. Cut the power."

Back inside, the SF crew is all talking at once, uttering the gratitude to Liam for coming, the concern about the explosives, everywhere, wondering what's happening.

Liam, trying to calm them and himself, "No...we're okay."

Saul: "We're really glad you're here, though."

Liam asks after the water and that's when the lights go out. You can almost hear their hearts pounding in that moment.

Saul: "Opening salvo."

Shirley: "Leading to what?"

Darlita: "All of a sudden, I'm not liking this so much."

Sally: "What message are we supposed to be getting?"

Liam, solemnly: "That he's not backing down."

Shirley is aghast: "Bill Spencer would blow his own son to smithereens?"

Sally interjects: "No...I don't believe that." She glances at Liam. "Do you?"

He laughs, not a little sadly.

Saul: "Ooookay people, this just escalated into a dangerous situation."

Sally still insists there's no way Bill will level the building with us inside and looks to Liam for confirmation that she's right.

He's not sure at all of anything anymore and it's written all over him, most especially the stricken look in his eyes.

02.11.2017+%252823%2529.png

Sally sees it and feels real fear for the first time: "What do we do?"

02.11.2017+%252822%2529.png

Liam gulps and looks away.

Liam.jpg.eee3c9d797b51babddb29dde584004c4.jpg

Outside, Bill clutches a construction barrier and glances off into the distance.

We end on this eerie, chilling freeze frame of father and son.

Darlita and Saul. My cute babies. I'll focus on you now since everyone else is dumb as hell.

Is JMW pregnant and just hasn't announced it yet? Maybe that's why she's embracing the black and dark tones.

LOVE that Liam has upgraded his casual look from the Lumbersexual look he was sporting for so many years. I like this look for him - adult, sleek, serious but age appropriate.

Naw, that's just JMW's shtick, like Ron Moss and scarves. If she were pregnant, I figured they're be hiding her behind oversized black purses. ?

But as Countrygirl pointed out, it makes for a shit countrast in the CEO office, because it's so dark.

I wondered the same thing.  I also wondered if she's had more artificial facial enhancements or "neck work".  She's sporting a cowl neck sweater/shirt that's covering her neck from her shoulders to her chin.
