Did it occur to Janelle that the people she watched ftom her car looked better than her because........they go to the gym? What is her definition of inspiration?

Much of what she says, sounds like depression , to me.

But she said it was "a local gym that caters to people of all physical abilities."

So why feel self conscious?!?

Janelle  has a lot of things she can't do.  Go to an actual gym, handle much stress,  talk to people at a trade show and the list goes on.

Tell me again why I should pay you to motive me?

You know, if you whine about your work-out program THIS MUCH, then maybe there is a problem with your program. And maybe you shouldn't be shilling said program to paying customers. The nice thing about working out is you can search the interwebz and find something that works for you and your interests. Find something that isn't such a drag that you end up whining about it damn near every day to your fans/customers.

Or maybe just admit you hate working out, you hate eating healthy food and go back to being the silent one.......

Just the other day Yoga was everything.

Her tweets read like dopey episodes of this show.

Btw, I went back to her tweet about not having a good sleep, and she hasn't responded to even one. I predict a post on Strive in the near future explaining how she overcame this obstacle.

I also walk in the house as does my next door neighbor.  She has a bladder problem so doesn't want to be miles from the house.  I also do things like make a lap or two around the grocery store before starting shopping.  That's something Janelle could easily do during the heat of Las Vegas.  She could also walk early in the morning or at sunset.  I fear Janelle thinks exercises doesn't count unless it's a formal program or done at the gym.  If she'd commit to walk even 5 or 10 minutes an hour, she'd see some difference.

She could walk around a casino or mall.  If I had her time I would be out exercising daily.

All this talk about walking... for a minute I thought about suggesting Ampyra, the walking drug for Janelle.  But then I realized she does not have MS.  :-)

I have MS and never heard of this!  Cool to know!

Lord knows she has nothing else to do.  Kids are grown. Husband is not but is also not around. No job.  Geez.

Ampyra for me is awesome!  :-)  I don't know why it works but no more leg heaviness.  Yay!

Well, when you're depressed and unable to get motivated, you'll find anything to spend time on other than what you really should be. Hell, if it weren't for the baby, she'd probably walk outside and notice a butterfly and that'd be it for the day. She'd spend time admiring it and following it around, then thinking about how much she admired it and followed it around once it left; after a while, she' be thinking about how much she thought about it, then she'd eat and go to sleep. The next day, it would just be something else; maybe a rock in her shoe or the dust on her car. Who knows?

Wellllll .... Envogue Salon is donating 100% of their proceeds. So that means Janelle knocked off at least one - but probably two - zeroes from that amount and is therefore donating either 10% (if you're being generous to Janelle and her intentions) or 1% (which is the more realistic number). For that matter, she might have converted the percentage into a hard dollar figure, which would mean she's donating either $10 or $1. I think that's probably less than we can expect, and yet I think 10% is still more than we can expect.

Hmmmm, Janelle must be one of the "vendors" and probably only has to actually donate anything if she brings in any of those pesky "sells".

She didn't make the flyer of the event and wasn't named as one of the "most generous participants!"

She made it in the flyer, not by name..........

"Local vendors and food trucks....."

From $99/year to $50/year and it is still too much. One cent would still be too much for the crap she is spewing. She went from 11 members to 21. Though I wouldn't be surprise if some of those are fillers given access for free (close family/friends of hers) to make her community appear active.

Also, if I was one of the first 11 that paid $9.99 (or $99) I would be pissed at the lowered price that Janelle done so soon.

The sad thing is that unless those fillers are actually chatting and posting, then all she's really doing is a bait-and-switch by making her "community" appear larger than it actually is. Of course, that ignores the whole bait-and-switch flavor of this thing from the word "go". As for the price drop...
1. I would be pissed if I'd paid full price, too.
2. Dropping the price by half so early in your business' life makes you look desperate.

It reminds me of when companies like cell, cable, satellite,  etc. offer deals to "new customers only". Throw your current customers a bone once in a while! (I know, not related, but it irks me, lol)

If you call them, they'll often negotiate a lower price for existing customers.  We called our cable company after the 2-year introductory offer expired, and they cut us a deal to stay with them.  Even Lifelock offered us a big cut.  Ask for Customer Retention.

Interesting story.  We called our then cable company and did that, talked to customer retention.  Nice lady cut my bill. I told my friend and she did same thing and they said maybe she would be happy with another service!!!  My friend is very nice and wouldn't be ugly to the person.  We were baffled.  Anyway, Janelle isn't doing herself any favors with the price cut so soon.  Next will be a virtual going out of business sale.

Maybe your payment record is better.  Just guessing.

Well I'd guess no, but, who knows.  Or the retention lady had it up to here, if you know what I mean, and another person asking was the last straw that day.

You & me both.

Janelle does look desperate.  Time to try another grifty crackpot idea.

Perhaps if  Strive did a 50% off deal for a particular month, I could see it differently. I wonder how long it will take for them to throw in the towel if the 50% doesn't increase membership?  Is there a way to know how many members there are right now?

How many Brown family members are there?  There's your answer. ;-)
