Did she ever change her name in the other marriages though?   Her first one was secret, she was married to Humphries for about 10 minutes.   She took West because she wanted to be clearly identified with Kanye.    Those Met Gala invites were not coming to Kim Kardashian.   They were coming to Kim Kardashian-WEST.

I hope Kim does manage to free people who get unfair sentences in order to populate for-profit prisons. Better yet if she also manages to bring a few well-financed white-collar criminals to justice - the U.S. is teeming with them.

Kim is narcissistic and flawed, but she does what she sets out to do - her interest in law isn’t a bad thing.

I think it's likely she changed her name when she got married to the Thomas guy when she was like 18/19 because they were married for a few years.

And privately like on her driver's license she might have changed her name, When she married Humphries. But at the same time maybe not because that s*** takes weeks and she was barely married to him a few months.

And yes definitely she wanted to be Mrs Kanye West so she probably immediately went down to DMV, social security office, call all her doctors to make sure that they was putting in their systems Kim Kardashian West. Hell You saw how quickly she changed her social media to Kim Kardashian West.

Many celebrities keep their professional names but privately + on legal documents take their spouses.

She's too high profile still, She's not going to become irrelevant and fade into the background no time soon.

I was confused as I thought Kim had passed the bar, so I looked it up and it says in California you have to pass two tests and Kim passed the first part but she still has to pass the second.

Yes, Kim passed what is known as the "Baby bar."   California is unique in having this exam.   Most states allow only those who have attended ABA credited schools to take the bar exam (VA lets you also "study the law" but no baby bar as far as I know).   California lets you "study the law" as Kim is doing or attend an uncredited law school (they have several in California) and still sit for the bar exam.   BUT, if you study or attend an uncredited law school, you have to take a test on basic legal principles which is nicknamed the Baby Bar AND pass after your first year of law school in order to be allowed to continue studying and eventually sit for the bar.    If Kim had not eventually passed the Baby Bar her studies would have been over.

The Baby Bar covers very basic topics that are taught  in the first year of law school -- Civil Procedure, Contracts, Property, Torts, Constitutional Law (an overview, not deep in depth).   So basically all Kim has done is shown she knows the first year curriculum.

You're kidding right?  If you think that the State Bar would 1. interpret those pictures to mean Kim thinks she is already a lawyer and can practice law; or 2. care about this in anyway (never mind try to retaliate) you are mistaken.  She is not the first law student (or potential professional in other careers) to buy silly aspirational stationary or post its.

I understand people really hate the Kardashians, but it gets a little silly sometimes.

Has there been a celebrity vow renewal by celebrities within in the last 10 years that has not resulted in divorce a short time later?  It seems like the kiss of death for a famous couple’s marriage.  It almost screams, our marriage is rocky and we won’t admit it.

When will she go away???  When will this national nightmare end?  It has already been so long. 

Most celebrities peak and then go away, like Paris Hilton and Jessica Simpson, and I am always so glad to see them not get press coverage and go away.  I know they are still around, but they are not ALL OVER THE PLACE like they both were in their prime.

Not illegal but there is a moral character portion, from what I understand.  I don't know what the standards are.  I think not paying bills on time is a part of it and although she is now very wealthy, I do remember that a long time ago I read that she didn't pay her credit cards.  Before they blew up they were not all that rich.  Bruce and Kris lived in a relatively small house.  She is the type of person to over-extend herself and not gaf about paying.

In my state of NC, in addition to a two day bar exam (1 day is state law essay and the second day multiple choice multi-state exam), there was also an ethics exam, which you also must pass.  It wasn’t easy.  I was surprised.  I’m not sure if CA has that requirement.
