I have no idea what's happening on my end.  This is the second time in as many days that my post has ended in the wrong thread.  Totally unbelievable.  From the baseball area but before Giants/Packers kickoff...

Well, I was planning on putting all of my Sunday picks at the same time + MNF.  Despite being unavailable for the second consecutive Sunday full of great action, I'll get them shortly before the 1:00 kickoff.  However, I guess I better post for the early Sunday 9:30 game.

Green Bay, as the designated home team, is favored by 8.5 over New York in London.  41.5 is the over/under.

The Packers & Giants game ends in a tie.  This isn't vintage Packers and the GMEN haven't been that bad so far.  So New York definitely covers, and forget the over hitting here.  Packers struggled at home against the all but winless Patriots.  It's a tough spot to shine for anyone, so this could be low-scoring

I’m interested to see how Cooper Rush will do against the Rams defense. Rams aren’t as good as last year so far, but if he does well then the Cowboys really do have a dilemma when Dak comes back.

I’m intrigued by that matchup as well - this is the biggest test for Rush as the starting QB, and while the Rams haven’t been as strong this year as their talent level would suggest, they are very talented, but on offense they’ve got to get guys other than Kupp the ball, they need to spread it out more, I think they really miss Van Jefferson who’s out with an injury as he’s their #2 receiver and a good deep threat.

Buffalo, Cleveland, Jacksonville, Minnesota, Detroit, New Orleans, Miami, Tampa Bay, Tennessee, San Francisco, Arizona, Dallas, Cincinnati, Kansas City for Week 6 picks.

Key games against the spread (FanDuel content)

Buffalo favored by 14 45.5 over/under.  Bills cover and over hits

Los Angeles is favored by 5.5. Dallas covers, and the over hits

Baltimore is favored by 3. Cincinnati covers, under hits (47.5 O/U)

Chiefs favored by 7.5. Kansas City sending a message is achieved under hits (51.5 O/U)

14 is way too much; it is a first for Pittsburgh since the merger.

However, Vegas could’ve made it twice that, and I’d still pick Buffalo to cover.  A 28+ rout is accurate, even with Pickett, who I think can put up points.  However, there are some injuries on the offensive side, and the WRs tend to blow it which could lead to turnovers (even with a depleted secondary for the Bills).  There is nothing scary right now in terms of the Steelers defense.  Buffalo, who will be able to afford to look ahead to Kansas City, will have revenge on their mind, as Pittsburgh pulled the upset last year that contributed to having to travel to Arrowhead to face the mentioned Chiefs.  To be honest, Buffalo can hit the over with Pittsburgh’s help.

Eventually Cooper Rush will go down, if he’s given the opportunity to do so.  However, while the Rams aren’t that good, there are some people who will return.  So they’ll be better, but I just don’t think it’ll be this week.

I’d be surprised if Cincinnati blows out Baltimore for the third consecutive time.  I think they still win, and what’ll help is the extra time off.  The Ravens aren’t decimated and they’re at home at night.  The 3-point line is perfect.

Kansas City wasn’t created to lose to Vegas, especially given everything they’ve done for the past several years.  I don’t know if the Chiefs can score 52 but they don’t need to

Great job by Daniel Jones & the Giants defense on that goal line stand to stop Aaron Rogers & the Packers. Seeing Aaron Rogers being sad after a loss brings a smile to my face.

The only thing I'm intrigued about this is that neither the Cowboys (as always) or the Rams (very scummy) are very likable or rootable. Its just another game in the NFL where either way, I lose.

Giants upset the Packers in London, playing a great second half. The Giants are off to a great start, I think having a healthy Saquon Barkley makes a lot of difference, and their O-Line is finally improved and playing well. Daboll is doing a great job with the Giants. The Packers are struggling, their defense is just not living up to expectations and something seems off with them, I expected their defense to carry them while their offense figures things out, but they haven’t done that.

Can't stand the Rams, but will be rooting like hell for them to beat Dall-ass.

That was a very good win for the Giants. I have been very impressed with Brian Daboll as a head coach this season. He's showing so far that he is a pretty good coach. His players care for and play hard for him.

Daniel Jones has definitely had his struggles (though not everything is his fault) but he also plays hard for this coach, even after he makes mistakes. I think it's largely because Brian holds him accountable and encourages him to continue to try and do better.

The Giants are playing competitive football and are winning. They are in a really good spot right now.

Condolences to Mr. Jim Nantz and family on the passing of his mother (she was 91).  I believe this was about two decades removed from Jim's father.  News made by Adam Zucker on College Football Today.

What is Jim Nantz doing calling a game today?  Was it his idea or the network's?

He looks like hell, BTW.

Bucs up 13-0 on the Falcons at halftime, Brady is playing well after a slow start and the Falcons offense is dead as a doornail. It’s time to put in Ridder to replace Mariota, Mariota is a shit QB who can’t lead them anywhere, time to find out whether Ridder has what it takes to be an NFL QB.

Bills up 31-3 on the Steelers in an absolute beatdown in Buffalo.

Browns up 21-17 on the Chargers in a good battle.

Good lort. I haven't seen the Steelers play this badly since the 80s, the days of the shower curtain defense.

Just tank the rest of the season and get a first round draft pick.

Is it tanking the season if you aren't trying to lose?

I remember those 80s games.  I didn't watch and I'm not going to watch any more this season.  I love my team but I got better things to do with my Sundays

Vikings gave up an 18 point lead but Cousins led them on a game winning drive and they win it 29-22 over the Bears.

Falcons have cut the Bucs lead to 6, I love how this Falcons team doesn’t quit, despite not having nearly as much talent as the Bucs.

Why did the Chargers not punt? My goodness.

They got very, very lucky.

If you don't trust your defense to stop Cleveland after a punt, why would you give them the chance to score from your side of midfield?

I JUST walked in the door and see the refs are up to their same old bullshit with Brady.

THAT’S why I thought there was going to be a flag when Tua got hurt (the second time).  If it’s good for their fucking Golden Boy, it’s good for everyone else.

Yes the Chargers got lucky to win that one, I have no idea what the hell Staley was thinking at the end there.

It enrages me when a game is basically decided on an iffy penalty. Yes the Bucs outplayed the Falcons and have the better team, but the Falcons didn’t get a chance to win because of an absolute horseshit penalty. Worst call I’ve seen all season. I don’t even hate Brady but yeah he got a call that most QB’s wouldn’t get. Even the announcers trashed the officials. Total bullshit.

It’s just a slap in the face for the Falcons. They came all the way back and sacked Golden Boy on third down and had a good chance to win the game. What was the point for that call? No other QB would get that call.

The refs just sealed the game for the Bucs. Those officials should be suspended and the NFL should apologize for such shitty officiating. The Falcons should’ve gotten the ball back. Fuck the refs!!

I don't get up until the second half of the morning games, so no way in hell am I ever going to see a London game, but I am thrilled for my G-Men.

I am not thrilled my NFC morning game involved Tom Fucking Brady, and then he gets another bullshit this perfectly legal thing becomes a penalty if you do it to Tom Brady call to boot.

Titans escape with a win against the Commanders 21-17.

Texans beat the Jags, so there will be no winless teams this season.

Jets beat a Dolphins team that was down to their 3rd string QB, injuries may derail the Fins season, and suddenly the Jets have a little win streak going on with Wilson back.

Only early game still on is Saints/Seahawks, Saints up 7 and they will run out the clock and win. Seahawks are not very good but Geno Smith is doing a lot better than I thought he would as a starter.

Disastrous start for the Rams, first Stafford fumbles on a sack and the Cowboys scoop and score, then a blocked punt results in a FG for the Cowboys, 9-0 Dallas less than halfway through the 1st.

Eagles score on their first drive and lead the Cards 7-0.

You know, the one time I want the Rams not to eat shit and die, they instead shit the bed.

BTW, NFL pundits are going to have to, at least for one week, direct their snark at someone other than New York football teams.  New York-based and New York-named teams are a combined 11 - 4 right now.

As a Bill's fan, I say we should have pulled Allen earlier then we did. No reason to risk him getting hurt and the other starts as well as we need them against KC. But wow did he play a good game. Two plays were amazing but especially that 98 yrs play (okay don't know the term). He throw it more then halfway down the field.

Just go back and watch some of the footage of cam Newton and he would be destroyed with no calls. There is no WAY those hits on brady, rodgets, others would be let go.  Strong argument can be made the nfl shortened his career by not protecting him.

He famously claimed Ed hochuli told him 'he is not old enough to get that call' on one play.

There is no carson palmer rule. It's the tom brady rule.  On a hit years after it happened to Carson palmer.

Wild first half in Cowboys/Rams - a scoop and score, a blocked punt, 2 long passes from Stafford that led to the Rams 10 points and a long run by Pollard that gave the Cowboys their offensive TD. 16-10 Cowboys at the half, this game could go either way.

Eagles up 14-10 on the Cards at halftime in an interesting matchup, Hurts is playing well once again as the Eagles try to stay unbeaten.

Niners up 17-9 on the Panthers.

As a Buc's fan, I agree that the penalty didn't need to be called, but there was a call earlier in which the ball was spotted short of the down and went against the Bucs.  From the overhead camera view, it appeared that the Buc's player did make it past the line before getting pushed back.

Each fanbase will complain about every perceived wrong call in a game.  When that happens with the Bucs, I get mad, then I think that if the team played a little better then maybe those kinds of calls wouldn't have mattered.  A gal can dream, right?   At least Mike Evans didn't get in a fight with anybody!  We can't afford to lose him.  And Julio, he just can't stay injury-free.  Gronk, please come back!!

Stupid Rams. They just had to not make mistakes and they would have won this game. They are really hurting on offense.

Eh, he was an unknown second-stringer then.  They had no reason to protect him, except of course Al Davis being the devil incarnate and all.

Eagles beat the Cards 20-17 and remain unbeaten.

Cowboys beat the Rams 22-10, dominant defensive performance from the Cowboys as they had a great pass rush and forced turnovers, and they ran the ball well also. The Rams are really struggling, their offensive line is in turmoil and they don’t have a rushing attack, and their defense isn’t as strong as it was last season.

Next week’s showdown between the Cowboys/Eagles is huge.
