People thought it was "shade" to wait on crediting Manu and Katie until the end? They didn't see it as not wanting to spoil their appearances for the non-spoiler people? Huh. I think it was Lost where sometimes I would hold my hand over the opening credits so I couldn't see who would be showing up on particular episodes. I like the wait until the end for those surprise visitors!

I think that person was asking if they asked JB and KC to do the same to keep the surprise and refused. Manu and Katrina weren't in the opening credits.

I think the tweeter meant that MG was shading actors who would not allow their credits at the end as opposed to KL and MB.

I'm wondering about the "change of heart" regarding the Arrow (and The CW) Twitter account. Just following where the story is going these days in terms of Olicity and OTA? Did they get a memo or instructions to be more positive about Olicity and OTA? Is it an intern who's social media savvy? Whatever the reason for the positive tweets, I approve!

I wonder if they even asked Cassidy or JB.  One has been in the news for weeks about returning to the show while Malcolm showing up isn't exactly a shock.   If anything I'd think them being in the opening credits might have actually helped the surprise of Katrina and Manu,  like "here are the guests that we got so we couldn't afford Lexa and the newbies!" Then BAM!  more guest stars!

I don't know honestly but while I think Slade's is a huge return I don't see Nyssa's return as bigger than MM's.

I think I consider Nyssa bigger because she's been gone since Laurel's funeral,  while Malcolm has been in LoT all season and popped up in the crossover and the flashback a while ago.   It just seems that we get a lot more of Malcolm than Nyssa,  but millage obviously varies.

Not watching LoT I feel like Malcolm is a big return for me because he has been featured so heavily in all the previous seasons so I've felt the difference, while Nyssa hasn't been as present in the past. Also I can't speak for casual viewers but I think having her sister play such an important role this season was a pretty big clue she was coming back. The only really surprising return for me is Slade.

It's actually kind of worrying how skinny Katie is and you can tell by her legs (and no it's not because of genetics as Katie claims). Hope she finds whatever help she needs because this is not natural at all compared to how Katie was in season 1...

Personally I think SA should just join the rest of the Arrow panel instead of a solo one every single time tbh. They're pretty same-y now. Same questions, same answers, same stories. Bouncing off the other cast members would be more fun, IMO. But maybe that's just me? IDK.

It's not just you. I would have liked to see him with JS and EBR. New stories from this season.

Odds of hearing "fart in my mouth and prove it" that weekend? V high.

Am I the only one who doesn't find that story funny at all? It's so 'had to be there.'

Con money is such easy, quick cash that I can't blame actors for doing them. Plus, if they're abroad, you get a cool trip to that country, too, though I'm not sure who picks up the tab on that. I suppose it's what they can negotiate.

I've never been to an HVFF Con, but for all the other ones I've been to, panels are included in the con ticket. It's only pics and/or autographs that are additional money.

I am a bit curious why there's no OTA panel. Emily does so few cons, and it's probably the most requested panel, I just wonder why it's never planned. Ah well, I won't be there so I hope everyone who is has bunches of fun.

Stanley Tucci? Does he owe one of the Con people money? (now I want a Devil Wears Prada con)

How do cons work exactly? Do you pay for the panels separately like the photos/autographs or is that included with admission?

Panels are included with the price of admission.  Although some events cost extra, like one year at NYCC they had separate tickets for a Kevin Smith Smogcast and Mark Hamil panel.

DR isn't at this con, he's in PR that weekend.

While I love Josh being with Emily they didn't have many scenes. We all know how I feel about KC. The person who planned this is dumb.

The only two I'm interested in is Emily and Josh. They just had to put the other one in this panel why?

Stephen doing solo panels is so yesterday. How many times can you answer the same questions?

At Fanfest, some panels are included and others you need to pay extra for.  Someone I know assumed that Hayley Atwell's panel at Fanfest two years ago cost extra and it didn't. She's been kicking herself since.

My life would be perfectly fine if I never had to hear that story again.  #HateItWhenTheRealActorsComeThrough

People tweeted the guy who owns HVFF about why there was no Emily and Stephen Panel. He apparently got a little pissy, told fans they should be "grateful" for what they've got and then had a mini rant about how super hard it is to organise actors schedules and demands at cons.

Personally I don't see how hard it is to go to Emily's reps "hey you have a panel at 10:30 with Stephen cool? Cool". But okay buddy. If you say so.

He also mentioned actor and agent requests, which is where I imagine most of the issues arise. Just based on SA's comments about it on Twitter, I'm guessing his priority is autographs, not panels. For all we know he could've limited his schedule to one which, yeah-could've been a group one, but maybe the consensus was that being the lead/~main draw for the event there was more interest in a solo. Who knows. I also think the likelihood of getting an Olicity panel even if the schedule was free and clear was always incredibly low.
