I really don't care if they are friends or not. I am just glad we are not getting backstage exposés of the two main actress on the show not getting along. I hate when that happens and it sometimes ruins  good TV shows. Also, it is soo cliche (side eying The Good Wife).

What bugs me is the implication that if you are not patient, you're watching it wrong. Naw, son. You don't get to tell me how I watch TV. I'm an actual pro at doing it.

Ha. Reading those stage directions, and realizing how EBR went the opposite way [curious and skeptic rather than faint by hot guy] makes me understand 100% how fucking lost they were at that time, and

I find KC's twitter interesting. The Header is Arrow/BC. But if you went off the tweets, you would think she was in the fashion/lifestyle industry. You get why she talks up and is so proud of her costume, design seems to be a bigger passion for her than acting. Oddly, it makes me feel a little bad for her.

 

Her likes crack me up though. It's a shrine to her. I get liking a good review or a shout out, but all her likes are glowing praise of her/Laurel/BC. If you find one that isn't, it's the exception that proves the rule.

 

Honestly, the EBR and KC interactions used to annoy me. They came out of nowhere and were generally so over the top. They don't annoy me anymore, they just amuse me. If I look at them with PR lenses, you see patterns.

On the other action figures it makes sense to have the punching fists and the hands that hold things and I think Felicity does have a tablet she gets to hold but who is she punching?

 

Nah. The Felicity action figure doesn't have a tablet or any other accessory included. I think the pairs of closed fists and holding-something hands are just standard action figure molds. Diggle's holding-something hands (for his gun) are posed similarly so I can have Felicity hold his gun or one of Oliver's arrow, if I wanted.

 

I wish we could've seen what Caity did at the 4:57 mark when Bam Bam called her Rhonda Rousey then switched it to Holly.

 

Caity sort of sat on the stunt dude (Arsenal's) and proceeded to mock punch him repeatedly, like wailing on his face, and he pretended to whip his head side to side. It was funny.

 

Other random things I remember from SJ HVFF:

 

The Star Wars cosplayers had awesome costumes and the Boba Fett one had a cool voice modulator that thrilled JB so he took a selfie with the guy. The zipline was fun and fast but I face-planted upon release at the end (and was slightly dizzy for a few minutes--would still do it again, though). Lord Mesa was cool and very humble. There was a good crowd for him, actually. The lady in front of me bought about $300 worth of his art, which is awesome for him.

 

The people in DR's autograph line sang him a 'Happy Birthday'. No cake, though. He's a really funny guy and was very cool during his panel. I also got to hug DR and can attest to him being an excellent hugger. My sister who attended the Lance panel initially thought that went just fine but, after seeing DR's panel, commented that David was really 'present and engaging' while the Lances seemed 'scattered and confused' throughout theirs. She was very amused by CL's reaction to KC's interruption, though.

 

A lot of dudes who did the selfie thing during Willa's autographs wanted to lift her for their photos. It was cute the first time but I felt uncomfortable for her after a few guys just kept opting to do that pose. WH seemed game/amused to do it, though. She is also super tiny. Like, really. And very competitive during that super charades game.

 

The whole time that I was at the con on Saturday and Sunday, I didn't see KC at her autograph booth but I saw everyone else sporadically. So, I don't really know how much time she spent signing or why she kept missing her schedules but everybody else (apart from Haley Atwell, who canceled due to filming) made it to theirs/were very visible at the con. That's about the only thing I can contribute to that.

 

Rebecca Mader (from OUAT), on the other hand, was always at her booth, on time, each and every time I passed by, even earlier than SA and everyone else on Sunday. I don't know her and haven't watched OUAT since S1 but I was very impressed by how committed she was to her fans/the event. I liked her attitude so much, I actually went and got her autograph just to tell her how much I appreciated her work ethic. She was sweet and funny (and British!), and her handler has a very dry sense of humor.

 

RA is pretty cool and approachable. DP seemed shy but was nice to her fans. I was really surprised at how easy-going NMcD and his wife were; He was so excited to play with the band at the NP party. CL is very chill and relaxed. She kept making heart motions to the fans in her line. SA's wife is very pretty and their daughter's cute (I went past them when they were walking the floor). SA and DR are really hot and their back muscles are super hard. Also, if anyone is going to a con like this, get SA's autograph early. The lines for him were insane (same goes for Lana Parilla). JB is an absolute ham but him and SA were the hardest working cast members there.

 

Also, at the NP party, my sister told me that one of the fans collapsed near one of the bar areas (I was watching the band with my other sister). She thinks it was exhaustion and, maybe, drinking without eating much. The woman just fainted and JB and RA were close by. RA didn't know what to do but JB immediately went to the fan and held her, let her sit on his lap as he leaned on a wall while waiting for the medics to arrive. He was very good with her and just talked to her while they waited.

Is it just me who finds it pretty funny when celebrities post pictures that have been taken from the internet? Like if they change their pictures to pictures of them on the red carpet, I just imagine them googling themselves looking for the best angle and trying to avoid the mean articles...

Like when they use paparazzi pictures as their profile pic? I find that so weird and narcissistic but then most actors are. LOL.

I noticed the blue eyes because I was listening to an interview this morning with sci fi writer Nalo Hopkinson about the lack of racial and gender diversity in science fiction.This show isn't so bad on the gender part but definitely lacks ethnic diversity.

So what does it say about Smallville that nearly everyone in the cast had green eyes?

Perhaps CH is taking the non-selfies ones and that is why he is not in them? There is always the photographer in the group that seems to take the photos and never seems to be in them.

 

I don't even know... I'm not sure I even care. I'm just jealous of the fact that they get to be in Maui.

Someone's been hitting the gym . . . I wouldn't be surprised if he were to best SA on the salmon ladder.

I feel at this point the cast/show should just have Salmon Ladder contest. Because I bet even EBR could do a rung or two. It would be an entertaining YouTube for over the hiatus.

I'm so happy that CL doesn't think Sara would like Ray. I know it doesn't mean it won't happen but she was like "Really? Ray?"

 

Audience question: "Who would win in a fight Sara's Black Canary or Laurel's?"  Caity without any hesitation: "Mine"
