Not proud of myself but I watched the latest episode, all nonsense filler.

Amber puts a target on Emma, portraying her as a lonesome loser.

Anna is a danger at the stove.

Liz plays older sister to Emma, avoids making her feel like a total loser, unlike Amber.

Alex has the Doublemint Twins as besties.

Rut roh cliff hanger.

Hint: Brice looking sheepish.

So…. Remember when Emma had friends on the cheerleading squad? Or a kinda boyfriend from conference? Too bad Amber made it impossible for her to keep those friendships.

Thanks for sharing. I, too, was engaged at 19 to an amazing fellow, handsome, kind, generous, no red flags to be seen. However, I just felt "off" when we'd kiss, etc. (No lightheaded, butterfly chemistry). When I told my mother he was perfect, except... I wasn't physically drawn to him, she immediately told me to level with him, otherwise our marriage was doomed

Yuck alert....the episode opens by revisiting the T+A  body painting segment, fresh trauma!

Jonah expresses his love for Ashley with a rack of ribs.

She does her best to daintily eat the bbq.

Lots of eating for Ashley in this visit.

Highlight: Junior prom for Emma with Cousin Ella as her date.

Alex with his gf, Allie who flew in from the farm.

The robotic twins, Ryan and Sean who are spiffy in the suits and bow ties.

Emma looked especially stylish in her pink gown.

More boring T+A marriage/couples junk.

Hope that is a TLC production crew driving the 15 year old Allie to Atlanta Airport and not some rando Uber driver, otherwise Alex should have driven her to her flight.

They have officially made this show unwatchable for me. I’ve deleted this from my DVR Recording list. 

What are they trying to prove?! Don’t answer that, we all already know. Don’t they understand that they’re very offensive to (at least *some* of) their audience?!

And it has nothing to do with them being little people. They are just gross and inappropriate.

Unfortunately, I know that it has already been done. I had an employee who 'accidentally'  accessed little people porn content at work. 

Folks, you should never 'accidentally' access your porn at work. While your partner at home won't see it in the browser history, your manager will have to review  it and discuss it with you before you go home to tell your partner that you lost your job.

I don’t get the timing of Elizabeth’s pregnancy??  She splits with Bryce and is not pregnant apparently as there is no mention of it.  So does she get pregnant after he moves out?  Last night she was holding a pillow over her stomach I noticed and she also said she and Bryce have been talking and getting together occasionally or something like that.

Had to pop in here to see if I'm the only one (I'm not) wondering why this show is still going.  95% of this season has been listening to Trent's gross sexual inuendos and watching the family halfheartedly participate in super boring, super contrived "contests," which I guess is literally the only thing left at this point with which they can fill up an hour a week.  The only slightly interesting, actual "thing" happening this season is Liz's baby news . . . which is maaaaybe one episode's worth of content.  Would've made more sense to me to have started the season with the baby news, maybe one episode as she goes through the pregnancy, a birth episode, and then a couple episodes of Liz and Brice as new parents, etc.  

In other news, I don't really understand Jonah and Ashley's relationship.  It's so odd to me that they've been in a long distance relationship for YEARS now, yet  seemingly have no future plans at all.  Guess I'm just not that go-with-the-flow . . .

Most of all, I love seeing Anna living her best life - in spite of Amber.  While the golden child gets knocked up and can't even pay her own bills without help from T&A this season, Anna's enjoying home ownership, is managing her finances just fine, and seems to be happy and thriving.

I'd love to know when the taking heads were filmed for this season. The more I see them, the more you can see Liz's annoyance with them. Her foot is tapping up a storm. And Jonah seems to be hiding a secret too. 

Who decided tho have this family present a panel at the LPA conference? They are NOT a well spoken bunch. especially Amber. I'm envisioning a rambling mess in real time.

I expect to hear any minute that Jonah and his Buddy have opened a bar-b-q joint.  This series has become like a really long commercial for that.  Either Ashley has very low self-esteem or she's a paid actor playing Jonah's long-distance GF, and his real relationship is the guy he smokes pork with (not that there's anything wrong with that).

Why in the world couldn't Liz find some FRIENDS to share her house with and help pay the rent?  Surely she's in school with other nursing students just starting out in the area who would be a perfect fit.  Heck, it seems to me even black sheep Anna had a potential roommate at one point.  Doesn't Liz have any FRIENDS? I seem to recall her rubbing it in Emma's face that she has FRIENDS while poor "loser" Emma has only a lowly cousin, who doesn't really count as a FRIEND.

I don't think Jonah and his friend even own their own smoker. so I don't buy he's a master of BBQ. 

I still want to know what Liz is doing with all her money. She's a dialysis nurse and on a TV show, she should be able to afford rent. Anna swings a mortgage and she just graduated college last month. I can't remember what Anna's been doing for work, but I can't imagine she's making all that much hawking her jewelry, so her day job must pay decently enough.

I agree.  Anna's just a receptionist in a doctor's office and has an online business (like all the kids do).  I wish she had continued working with children and maybe opened her own daycare one day; she was awesome at that.

There is so much fakery here.   Anna having no clue why Liz was not drinking. By the time the LPC was, Liz was 5 months along.  Maybe the others did not know, but Anna knew. As a little person, from the start, she would have had prenatal care, and I doubt she waited that long to tell her parents.  Also at that point her and Bryce would have been fully back to together, and not this hemming and hawing.   So next week it will be interesting to see the "timing" on when they told their parents. 

I wonder how many attendees for their session were not family friends.   It did seem like there were some fans there.  I have spoken at conferences before, and when there are many sessions , the turnout can go either way.   It is also possible that what they showed on the TV was not the real presentation.   I would suspect a "famous" LP family would have a greater audience.

Maybe LPA finds know-it-all Amber as insufferable as I do!  If they wanted to hob-knob with "famous" little people, there were plenty of other opportunities, as they noted how many other fun things the attendees could be doing in that chock-a-block filled conference.  I for one would not have chosen to waste an hour of my life listening to little people telling me what I, if I were a little person, already knew.  Like they couldn't figure out how to alter clothes until Amber came along?  The ego and hubris of this woman is just astounding!

I was also dismayed to hear her comment on what "we" have to do to keep Alex and Allie together.  Amber, it's not "your" relationship.  RUN, Allie and Ashley!

Thank goodness we don't have to see that salsa dance anymore except probably in flashbacks.

Of course, they all knew about the pregnancy and were just acting (badly); it's even been suggested that the whole breakup was fake.

I did laugh at the fact that none of the "presenters" had even bothered to read through Amber's presentation. Whoops. 

I actually ordered some stack bracelets from Anna, and they are really pretty and weren't expensive. She is my favorite by far, I also like Emma.

Maybe they're all tired of being controlled and micromanaged by the "One Tough Mother" (the t-shirt).  Ya think?  I thought the whole "let my family of vastly superior LPs EDUCATE you poor lesser LPs as to how to live your own lives" premise was stupid, but very characteristic of Amber.  Where does she get off...???  Those college credits are going straight to her head!

I think he was joking; wasn't the whole philosophy behind the show initially that they DON'T modify their environment because they have to live in the real world which is average-sized and want their kids to get used to it?  As the parents have gotten older, though, I notice that they've started to (kitchen, bathroom).  Was Trent's segment on adaptations?  Interesting in contrast to the Roloffs (who were also there); Matt started a business selling stools and other implements to aid dwarves, while Zach and Tori, with FOUR dwarves in the family, haven't made a single household modification.

I was doing what Jonah appears to do on the couch, doze off. I would like to know how many other people were in the talent contest over the age of 22 that T&A got 1st place. But I have to say, now I want brisket

They must not have gotten permission to actually film at the talent show. The close ups could have been filmed anywhere, and the longer shots looked like Anna took footage on her phone of Emma taking footage on her phone. 
 

I loved how they had to have Anna doing a talking head and Liz mentioning not drinking since Liz was obviously knocked up by the 4th of July when they were in Texas. I read a while back Liz didn’t tell the parents until damn near 20 weeks, so that’s kind of tracking.

I saw an interview online where Amber said Liz didn't tell them until she was 5 months along. I wonder if that also means that Liz didn't get any prenatal care for the first 5 months. That seems pretty irresponsible considering Liz is 22 and a nurse. She should know better. And being a dwarf she would a high risk pregnancy.

However, we know in real time that Leighton is already born and doing well. So, no worries I guess. :)

She’s 22, she doesn’t need her parents to take her to the doctor and probably has her own insurance, so no reason for Amber to know about any appointments.

Exactly; like an adult nurse wouldn't know enough to get prenatal care without Amber orchestrating it?  But then, she didn't know enough to use birth control, so...  (Personally, I think the pregnancy was planned -- at least by Liz.)

Yeah, my younger sister got pregnant at 16…. Accidentally on purpose. I’m  guessing that’s what happened here.

Based on the conversation on last night's episode, it sounds like Liz did not go to the doctor before she told the parents. I don't really like Amber but she was right that the prenatal care is important especially on Liz's case. Also, it showed Liz and Brice going to one of those "shopping mall ultrasound places." Why would they go there if they already had a doctor?

I could be wrong, but I feel what I've learned from watching too many reality tv shows about (teen) pregnancies, you get better/different types of pictures at these strip mall ultrasound places than what you get at your regular doctor's office ultra sound appointments.

I guess we'll never know the facts, but the show runners have made it seem that no one other than Brice and Elizabeth knew about the baby until 21 weeks, and that they just used pregnancy tests, and had no OB. If I was Liz, I would object to having me portrayed as so reckless/stupid, especially as a nurse. Personally, I thing this story line received a lot of editing and placement. The scenes at the LPC seemed very contrived to me. I can't believethat Liz wouldn't go to a doctor from the get go, knowing how at risk she and the pregnancy could be.

It makes me sad that with the exception of Liz's siblings no one seemed the slightest bit happy about the baby.   I get that Amber is concerned about Liz's health but she seemed even more flat and disinterested than she usually does.  It was just weird.  No one even smiled when talking about the upcoming baby. I really wish there had been an explanation as to why Liz and Brice waited so long to tell anyone. 

I did get a kick out of the two "badass aunts."  I enjoy Anna and Emma's scenes together.  They seem to have the most normal sibling relationship out of all the kids.

My only laugh of the night was when Liz said something about Brice's family having strong male genes.  Okay.  Brice looks like he's caught in a hostage situation.

I haven’t watched yet, but the strip mall ultra sound place probably has way less of an issue with filming than an actual obgyn. And if she’s really that stupid to have had zero medical care until she told the parents, no wonder why no one looked happy. It’s one thing to not tell the parents right away, but to just ignore it when you know you’re high risk, that’s a level of stupidity that’s inexcusable. I’d also be questioning her nursing skills if I was her boss. Like when I was a 18 year old kid who weighed 180 pounds, and my doctor who was easily 400 pounds told me to join the high school swim team to lose weight. Bitch, please.

I, for one, have no doubt whatsoever that ADULT Liz (an actual nursing student or nurse) with her OWN insurance had prenatal care.  It was very clear from Amber's own words that she wanted her to go to HER specialist doctor who delivered HER children and that it would be difficult to get in quickly "without Mom and Dad knowing" (as if she's the gatekeeper for this OB/GYN).  She was also obviously hugely pissed that she wasn't able to make the big announcement that SHE was going to be a grandmother at the convention and on social media and embarrassed that it will be evident that SHE wasn't told promptly so she could "help."  Or "hurt," as she put it, like she was "hurt" when traumatized Anna didn't automatically bond with her so she could brag about that, too.  Another narcissistic injury!  I continue to be truly amazed at what an absolutely know-it-all Amber is.  She's like Google; pick any topic, and Amber is the undisputed expert on it.  WHAT EGO!

I just checked Instagram and it appears only Emma and Alex are following Anna and Anna is only following them. It does look like Brice is still following Anna as is her cousin Ella.
