Eileen does bring up a good point why Yolanda only wanted Kim to "apologize" to LisaR ONLY but Kyle and Eileen didn't get one.  Sorry, let's stop with this "Well Kim might have felt attacked if she had to apologize to all three at once."  If Kim can zone an attack on Lisa R/Kyle/Eileen at once, she better be ready to issue apologies at once.

Then Yolanda is saying Kyle needs to take responsibility for Kim???  Excuse me Yolanda!  Kim needs to take responsibility for Kim!  I'm sick of this bs.  Kyle has to babysit/nursemaid/caretaker for Kim especially when Kim messes up with her addiction and shows her ass.  At this rate, Kyle should be paid by Kim (or the good sister Kathy) if she has to be handle responsible for Kim's behavior!

I don't see the First Looks burning up the page so it must have been mellow.

For the most part it was rather tame. The interesting stuff involved Yolanda, Kyle and Eileen.

I agree!!!!!!!! That Yolanda says that she could never understand how Kyle feels because of her relationship with her own brother who lives in another country is idiotic, she is comparing a normal brother/sister long distance relationship to a sister relationship where 1 sister is an addict with anger issues. Making Kyle feel guilty is horrible, irresponsible and very 1 sided IMO.

The scenes with the Lisa's, Kim and Brandi are uncomfortable IMO. They are acting way too happy, it is forced and not very believable IMO. Brandi does not look happy at all! LOL

Or, it's as the blind item said, producers forced her to apologize/make a deal not to out something about Harry to Lipsa.

Kim, Brandi, and the Lisa's seemed to have a good time.

Was Kyle trying to be funny in the museum?  Yeah, didn't work, and no, you cannot paint better.

This is vintage Yolanda wielding advice with half a brain.  Easy for her because she knows if the going gets tough she can claim Lyme brain.  I am curious if her daughters are so close why aren't they sharing an apartment in NYC?

I'm not sure mellow is the right word..........but unbelievable, fake and forced come to mind.

It certainly didn't compare to last week's.  That was fun and gave us so much to discuss.

Maybe people are hesitant to post in the First Looks thread after last week's lockout.

I really felt for Kyle when she broke down in Yolanda's room. God gives us all a job in life, and her job is to take care of Kim? Fix everything? Every time? Fuck that. I'm glad Kyle told her she doesn't want that job, and she's not the "strong one" that everyone thinks.

Yes it's easy for Yolanda to say since she and her brother are a good distance apart!

And how awkward you can tell that was once again production driven to see what will happen when these four hang together.  Lisa R still seems shook since her confrontation with Kim.  Like she's now walking on eggshells now.

Ugh, so it was just more Poor Kim excuses?

I greatly dislike it when people with healthy sibling relationships take it upon themselves to judge and advise those who, unfortunately, aren't that lucky.  I wish Yo just be supportive without trying to direct people.  That is the opposite message Kyle needs to hear right now.

Whatever Kim was hinting at re: Harry must have legs because Rinna has been completely (and suddenly) neutralized. And I hate the fact that Kim seems to have immunity yet again.

This whole First Look felt awkward and uncomfortable. All the women's conversations and attempts to pretend they were having fun felt fake and forced. And Kim and her fucking dildo fetsh... Could Rinna have looked any more uncomfortable when Kim was waving that thing around? I'm no prude, but Kim's behavior in that store made my skin crawl. And does anyone else find it interesting that suddenly Brandi isn't nearly as chummy and talkative with Kim? She made this bed but she sure as hell doesn't want to lay in it. (I also think she's starting to realize that forcing a wedge between the Richards sisters was a bad career move).

Screw you, Kim Richards, for turning this trip into a big suck-fest. And an even bigger "screw you" to Brandi for egging Kim on with lies and innuendos (particularly the lies of omission regarding Brandi's own (HUGE) role in ramping up everyone's concern about Kim's sobriety).

Yes, Yo said in a TH that she can't imagine not speaking to her brother, so she wants to fix their broken relationship. It really was maddening, but she did seem to soften a bit when Kyle broke down.

I really wish they would all ignore Kim from this point going forward, and stage an intervention for KYLE. Give Kyle all their support for what she has to endure with Kim as the always blaming sister, and then escort her by hand to an Al-Anon meeting. Or ride side-by-side on bikes, with arms gently touching, anything - just get her there!

It was mostly on Yolanda's end.  She threw in the "God's plan/job" stuff to make Kyle feel she has to protect/defend/nurture Kim no matter what.  UGHHHH I hate when people do that!  They use the God angle to make someone feel guilty or sympathetic so they won't feel how they want to feel.  Kyle has done God's job long enough and Kim still doesn't appreciate it!

Agreed!  My concern is for Kyle at this point.  F*** Kim.  I'm serious.  Kim has been coddled long enough.  Kyle is the one that needs the support.  She's the one that's being abused here.  Kim is the abuser.

Here is a thought Yolanda mender of sibling relationships-how about not bringing up drinking as the topic of conversation when you know darn well the two sisters are at odds over the on going conversation surrounding it?

Kyle should be tired of having to be the "strong one" in her relationship with Kim.    However, her "fleeing" the restaurant sent an entirely different message.  That's just not what strong means to me.  I will give her credit for coming back and telling Kim that her actions were indefensible.   It's about freakin' time.  Even so, I have a hard time feeling sorry for someone who seeks attention by crying and whining in that froggy voice.  She's always wiping her eyes and yet I've rarely seen them even puddle up.

Wait, she wants to fix Kim and Kyle's relationship?!  Hur?   Well, it's happened.  Yo's brain has finally turned to lemonade.

I would love it if they just ignored Kim and Brandi and just had some fun.  If those two assclowns can't get over themselves, then that's their problem.  I don't know how much more of Kim being handled with kid gloves, I can take.  And now we're going to be subjected to Pope Yo and her Holy Housewife proclamations?  What does her relationship with her brother have to do with the price of windmills?  Brandi and Kim can have her.  Her new Night Terror Team.

She was crying hard on the bus when they were heading back to hotel.  I saw her tears.  The only way Kyle can get strong she has to go to therapy to do so.  And take a long break away from Kim but since the dog incident she has been.  I think that dog biting was like the blessing in disguise to get Kyle to wake up that she and Kim need a much needed time apart.

Kyle and Eileen seemed upset with Lisar's sudden and miraculous make-up with Kim. After watching that, there's little doubt that KYLE DID NOT tell Lisar to bury the hatchet with Kim. Did they do it for Yolanda and the good of filming the next day maybe?

Both Eileen and Kyle feel they should have been part of the solution since they were involved in Kim's wrath. Though in actuality it was a argument between Kim and Lisar...if Kyle and Eileen didn't feel the need to have Lisar's back it would have been a different story. The two ladies seem miffed at Lisar for not including them in the morning meeting with Kim. Though I think they all have different issues to discuss with Kim. It was better Lisar was alone with Kim.

I must agree, most of the time Kyle fake cries and there are never any tears or even watery eyes but this time, there were real tears. This time, her emotion was real and her reaction was to run from the pain but in that short sprint, she found enough backbone to tell Kim her behavior was indefensible!

Yolanda was wrong to compare her sibling relationship to Kim/Kyle's though but I must remind myself, Yolanda's main source about the sisters relationship is Brandi. Brandi has filled Yolanda's foggy brain with tales of Kyle never being there for Kim at all.

That was her point. She's not the strong one. She needs support and help just like Kim does. Just of a different nature.

I hope Kyle and Eileen don't get pissy towards Lisa for Kim's early morning non-apology.  Kim came to her door, not the other way around.

I'm not really happy about the sudden turnabout, either, but I guess Lisa had to.  Blink twice, Lisa, for yes, if someone's holding a gun to your back.

Well, I stayed up for nothing. Was hoping to get another first look with some substance but that shopping outing just felt forced. Everyone going through the motions to appease Kim and she looked like the only one enjoying it. Why wouldn't she, she got her way, everyone behaving the way she wants them too.

I don't think that Eileen in the previews wants LisaR to "have her back" I took it like she was genuinely wanting to know how LisaR could seem to be moving on so quickly after everything that went down. Then during the first look though she does tell Kyle that she thinks its ridiculous or words to that effect that now LisaR and Kim are honky dory and she and Kyle are on the outs. Soooo, who knows.

I know we haven't seen the full fallout between Eileen and Lisa R., but I'm on Lisa's side so far.  I'm not saying Eileen doesn't have the right to be upset with Kim - she does.  But she's going a little overboard with Lisa, in my opinion.  This fight was between Kim and Lisa R.  Eileen inserted herself in the drama, and is now directing her anger toward Lisa because Lisa found a way to move on?  So when Kim gave a non-apology apology to Lisa, Lisa should have said:  I am not ok until you go and apologize to Eileen and Kyle?  First of all, Kyle has been dealing with Kim for decades before Lisa came along.  Second, Eileen inserted herself in the drama, and as much as Eileen seems to think she suffered just as much as Lisa, being told someone doesn't like your face or hair is nowhere near the level of someone threatening to out something about your husband.

I like Eileen and I think she's the nicest and most normal person in this group, but I'm seeing shades of:  But what about me?  I'm in 100% pain.  Lisa said something like - you mean when Kim attacked me.  Then Eileen snapped - you mean attacked us?  And in the first look it's like Eileen is trying to get Kyle all worked up again.  Now if Kim was forced to apologize by production, I could see Eileen being angry that they didn't require an apology for Eileen.  That would mean that being unable to break that fourth wall, Eileen is complaining in the only way she can.  I just think it's pretty stupid to turn this all around on Lisa.

I had a laugh out loud moment when Lisa contemplated buying Kim the vibrator as a charitable act.

I guess what I mean is she didn't want to revisit what happened since she went shopping with LVP/Brandi/Kim. When you see it she seems a tiny bit rattled by Kim's Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde personality in her TH. I assume she sees why people have always been afraid to confront Kim on her addiction.

Lisa never received an apology from Kim - a real one or even a "non-apology." Kim went to Lisa's room to receive an apology- after all, didn't Lisa realize she was hurting her kids?! And Lisa fell for it, and ended up apologizing.

That's why I said non-apology because it was all about how Kim wanted one from Lisa, which she received and kinda, sorta accepted.  In return for her apology, Lisa accepted that Kim wasn't going to apologize.   lol

In one night cast alliances are changed. Though Lisar has always said she cares about Kim and her well being and that she (Lisar) is a nice person. Looks like in the morning Lisar is coming from a different place than from the dinner from hell. I think Lisar said she has known Yolanda for 20-years. Lisar may have backed down to please Yolanda and allow the vacation to continue without strife. Fat chance of that happening...cause remember only Lisar promised not to bring up addiction issues to Kim.

Interesting.  I always thought that Lisa had known both Kyle and Eileen longer.  I'd love to hear some stories from Yo and Lisa about knowing each other for so long.

I can understand, if Yo was the one to get Kim and Lisa together, how Lisa would want to appease her since it's a "Yo-centric trip" and they are in her home country.  I can see Lisa feeling really guilty about what she did and not wanting to cause further trouble on the trip.

This makes me laugh because Kyle is a spokesperson for Restasis-for chronic dry eye.  I cannot stand the Richards froggy voices.  I will say Kyle gets called out a lot on it and always says she can't help it she is emotional.  Maybe she should be hitting Kim's stash.

Probably.  It's obvious LisaR isn't actually over it, but she'd rather just go on like it didn't happen. She can't do that if she sits with Eileen and Kyle and rehash the fuckery that was the dinner.  Then again, she could always mention she didn't ACTUALLY receive an apology from Kim, but I doubt that would make Eileen feel any better.

Lisa R did seem to be apologetic because she wanted it to all go away and to be nice to Yolanda, since they were in A.  I don't think L should have even let her in the room the next morn. That ship had sailed. I wouild have loved to have seen Lisa R walk out of the dinner, in indignation.  She can strut with the best of them. Why didn't you strut out, L???

Eileen was verbally attacked at dinner and I totally understand why she would want an apology. I loved her "How dare you!" She rocks!

Y & B are the only ones not verbally attacked by Kim.  Since Kim & B can control themselves around Y, I am assuming that they could control themselves around the others.  They choose not to do so. This is a point not discussed.  Kim has control, when she wants to do so.  I do not buy the whole idea that she is out of control, but I do think she wants to be relevant on the show and this is her way to have the focus.  This is a different issue than the issue of addiction.

IIRC when Lisa R came downstairs after her meeting with Kim she said that they had come to an understanding and it looks like Lisa R is OK with that being how they put a bow on and then moved on from what had happened at the dinner.

You are correct that Lisa R was the champion in the "Save Kim" effort but now she knows in no uncertain terms that Kim does not want to be saved, so it seems to me that she doesn't see the need to engage Kim further in any way, shape or form.  I wouldn't be surprised if Lisa R was in that space when she talked to Eileen and Lisa V in the lobby but I am assuming that Eileen's name came up on the flight to Calgary and Lisa R was giving her a heads up that Kim was likely going to mean mug her the next time they were together.  I think that Lisa R was caught off guard at the dinner because while Kim said "drop it" on the flight, she probably thought that since her speech was so conciliatory and non-detailed that Kim would not object, but come to find out that when Kim said "drop it" she meant don't let another word pass your lips about her sobriety.

I don't see Lisa R as manipulated by Kim, rather Lisa R now knows "what time it is" when it comes to discussing Kim's sobriety, and as I stated in the other thread, hopefully she realizes that her "moral obligation" has been fulfilled, not the way she wanted it to be fulfilled but it has been fulfilled.

I got two things out of tonight's first look.

1) I really like the fact that Yolanda and Kyle have come to a good place, and now seem to be friends, and it feels genuine. Yay. Such a change from the last few seasons.

2) I have to say, I'm with Eileen on this, although that woman is such a soap actress it flows through her pores. Which I am fine with. I'd be be same way in this case , as in "where the fuck is my apology, when all I did was speak up for my friend, who is now apparently cool with the crazy lady, and apparently there's this rule where we pretend it didn't happen". Because when someone gets all nasty in my face, I kind of tend to not want to pretend it didn't happen, because seriously?

Oh, one last thing - I want all the chocolate in that shop Eileen and Kyle went to. All of it!

Eileen sure made a stink face at Kim when Eileen heard the group was going shopping together.

Why would she begrudge Lisa R moving on and being kind/harmonious. Eileen is way self-centered, imo. She's doesn't seem worried about Lisa R. I think Eileen just wants grand apologies and people on her side. Should Kim apologize to Eileen? Yes, I think so. But, how is that Lisa R's problem? Either take it up with Kim or just don't be friends with her/interact more than necessary.

But, getting everyone else all worked up? Woman-you were the least involved. Kyle is way more upset than you. Show some decency and try to be a supportive friend rather than making it all about you, you "oh-so-supposedly in-control, infallible, completely sane One."

Eileen would be exhausting as a friend, imo. With Kim and Brandi, I'd know what to expect and try to just be quiet and never alone with them, but Eileen ...you think she's your friend and things are fine. Oh NO. Let's be a wet blanket because of her ego. I really dislike a lot of her behaviors and attitudes- yes, way more than Kim or Brandi. I think Kim and Brandi have demons and truly struggle. I see Eileen as just all about herself and being more worried about table manners than insulting people by pointing out anyone with less than perfect ettiquete. To Kill a Mockingbird, anyone?

How dare you?!??!! Eileen, I'll say it, too. I don't like your snotty facial expressions. Boo on you.

Just my opinion, as always.

Yeah, and Kim showed up unexpectedly at Lisa's room.

There's no way in hell Kim would have let Lisa summon Kyle and Eileen up there without either launching into another irrational tirade or storming off, convinced that everyone was ganging up on her again, and a lot of viewers probably would have agreed.  Poor little Kim, victimized yet again.

I think in this case it was a lose/lose situation for Lisa R.

Personally, I think she did the right thing.  Pretend to bury the hatchet with the crazy before the crazy buries the hatchet in your back.

If the other women still have issue with Kim, they need to go deal with poor little wallflower Kimmie all on their own.
