joanne3482 January 30, 2015 Share January 30, 2015 The gang tries to help Sheldon when he becomes stuck in a rut at work by increasing his anxiety level. Howard teases Raj with a new game called "Cinnamon or Emily?" I know it was wrong, but I really laughed at Cinnamon or Emily. 6 Link to comment
Kanner January 30, 2015 Share January 30, 2015 I loved Cinnamon or Emily. I also liked when Sheldon asked the guys to help him out. The back and forth between them and Sheldon was great. Sheldon coming back to say thanks was even better. I liked Amy putting her foot down at dinner. Their relationship has grown and Amy has been more assertive lately. I like Sheldon but you can not be a wimp when dealing with him. The werewolf debate was also funny. 9 Link to comment
Gulftastic January 30, 2015 Share January 30, 2015 I wanted a scene of Sheldon apologising to Amy, and was disappointed that Raj didn't counter Howard's 'Cinnamon or Emily' with 'Wife or Mother'. Anyway, 'Smelly cap, smelly cap, it's not your fault'. 15 Link to comment

kat165 January 30, 2015 Share January 30, 2015 Gulftastic, you should write for the show. They could really use a new infusion of ideas. Mother or Wife is priceless. 1 Link to comment
Enjay January 30, 2015 Share January 30, 2015 I loved this episode - best of the season for me. Cinnamon or Emily was hilarious and Jim Parsons was on top of his game. I love seeing passionate, happy, Sheldon. The entire cast seemed to be enjoying themselves. 2 Link to comment
peeayebee January 30, 2015 Share January 30, 2015 I thought it was ok. I did love the exchange about bananas: Sheldon: Who eats them horizontally? Amy: [pause] My mother said that's how good girls do it. Mayim's delivery of that line was perfect. 10 Link to comment

Great idea with "Wife or Mother!" The possibilities are endless. I really liked the episode, except for Sheldon being mean to Amy, but I'm glad that she threw his butt out of her apartment! Maybe one day very soon he'll learn not to do that. He was going on very little sleep, so I can cut him a little slack in that regard. I loved the scene with Sheldon trying out his noise-cancelling headphones. Leonard going from an insult to "that's why you're the best roommate ever" was hilarious. I rewound that several times to catch everything he said. They all impress me with their rapid fire dialogue. 2 Link to comment
Sile January 30, 2015 Share January 30, 2015 (edited) Is this the beginning of having Leonard wearing short sleeved t-shirts with bared arms or have I just not noticed the trend until now? After I saw him like that twice I just happened to think that the only cast member to bare their arms when clothed is Penny, who seldom if ever wore long sleeves before her business jacket for work. Leonard: t-shirt/hoodie/army jacket Raj: shirt/sweater vest/windbreaker combo Howard: dress/western/double knit shirt/dickey thing Sheldon: short sleeved tee over long sleeved tee Amy: long sleeved, collared shirt and/or a granny sweater Bernadette: Post Cheesecake Factory generally has on a twin set type sweater over her dress Maybe that's why seeing bare arms was so rare that I couldn't focus on anything other than Johnny Galecki's forearm hair... ETA that it occurred to me that Raj wears a short sleeved dress shirt when he's windbreakerless, which doesn't seem to be very often. Edited January 30, 2015 by Sile Link to comment
Beach Party January 31, 2015 Share January 31, 2015 Blah episode. "Cinnamon or Emily" burned itself out. I hope Amy has dumped Sheldon for good. Link to comment

That would have been funny a few seasons ago but since Howard has clearly chosen his Wife it would have come across as a little dated, to say the least! Link to comment

hoodooznoodooz January 31, 2015 Share January 31, 2015 Mayim was on Letterman. She is so cute. Letterman seemed a little reserved with her. 1 Link to comment
buffynut January 31, 2015 Share January 31, 2015 I love this show, but this eppy did nothing for me. Bah Me either. I will admit the Emily / Cinnamon game was cute, but Sheldon "trying to work" just seemed a rehash of previous episodes when he struggled with work ideas or problems. Was Bernadette even there? This season, for the most part, has been forgettable for me. I miss Stewart and the comic book store. I miss the guys eating at the Cheesecake Factory. And even though I hated and don't miss the fat jokes, I miss Howard's mother and keep wondering how they will address the death on the show. Link to comment
hoodooznoodooz January 31, 2015 Share January 31, 2015 Were Leonard and Penny stating truths when Sheldon was testing the effectiveness of the noise-blocking headphones? Some seemed real. But Penny using Sheldon's toothbrush seemed unlikely. Link to comment

But Penny using Sheldon's toothbrush seemed unlikely. Yes, I could believe the water filter and the fake signature -- but if Penny did not want to take the time to get hew own toothbrush, surely she would use Leonard's? And by now I would have assumed that the Roommate Agreement has a clause stipulating where a guest toothbrush can be stored, so she would have her own toothbrush over there. Link to comment
LucyEth January 31, 2015 Share January 31, 2015 What has happened to this show, it is going nowhere IMO. Amy and Sheldon are just boring. Howard and Bernadette are boring. Penny and Leonard are the same old thing, he is so lucky to have her as she is clearly out of his league. I miss the old days when they guys hung out and did things together. 2 Link to comment

Like when Sheldon said that he wanted to "have coitus" with Amy when he was testing her in the first episode of the season. 6 Link to comment
takalotti February 12, 2015 Share February 12, 2015 I thought noise canceling headphones just got rid of ambient noise so that you could hear things like people's voices or music more clearly. Link to comment
LoneHaranguer February 12, 2015 Share February 12, 2015 True noise canceling headphones try to get rid of all external noise (although current technology is weak at higher frequencies), but the term is often extended to cover noise reduction/isolation headphones. Link to comment
