Just read that Ariana and Tom have put the house up for sale!!!

https://pagesix.com/2024/10/24/lifestyle/tom-sandoval-claims-he-ariana-madix-agreed-to-sell-house/

Meanwhile, Ariana has her nice new house and Tom owns shit.

Did anybody notice that Sandoval has according to this a podcast named "Everybody Loves Tom"?

Anyone think she's "discontinuing the podcast" because no one is tuning in?  I wonder if the new boyfriend is really a rocket scientist or just someone who works in the mailroom at Boeing.

A new season is not guaranteed. There are negotiations with the cast, but no filming dates. I'm sure Bravo will try to capitalize on a last season. Sandoval hopes there is going to be one, Lala doesn't think it will happen.

Nor does she care, apparently.  I just had on the last reunion where she yelled at Ariana for not behaving properly (according to "Lala's" rules of how others should behave - never herself!) - "It's how I support my kid so you'd better care!!"  Now that they took her nasty hypocritical ass onto The Valley I guess she's not worried about anyone else.  Typical "Lala" 🙄

Lala was recently still complaining abut Ariana not moving out of her own home and comparing it to her situation with Randall. Of course it’s easy to leave a house that you don’t own, Lala. I can’t with how jealous the cast became of Ariana’s opportunities.

She was on Bravo and Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live yesterday, and she said she doesn’t talk to almost anybody from VR, and The Valley, only Scheana and Schwartz, and she supports Brittany, but they are not exactly friends. She blocked Jax on social media. She just filmed for The Valley but she doesn't care about any of the cast.

She forgot to say that Rand(all) threatened to call the police on her to force her to vacate his house. She said on Watch What Happens Live yesterday that she last talked to Ariana (and Katie) at the reunion.

I don't watch The Valley, nor do I have any interest to watch it, but I was not aware that LaLa had joined the show.

She filmed along Scheana during the second season of the show. I don't know the extend of it- it could be guest appearances.

Adding: or more- she seemed invested discussing it in interviews.

She keeps changing her story.  On "The Randall Scandal" she claimed she was unable to leave - that she had to wait until Randall took off for an extended period and she packed her stuff and FLED.  Which is it??

Further reason for me to NOT watch The Valley.

Especially him. It was his debt that had to be repaid with money from borrowing against the house that had equity because real estate values went up. She agreed because they were not separated yet. I'm sure she regrets it now.

Since UniqBlue and I posted simultaneously, here is Sandoval’s Insta. Really, the only surprise here is that it lasted this long. I never saw a useful website and the Yelp reviews were mixed. As they both made clear, they never took this seriously. (That was proven with how they treated the opening of Tom Tom. If it had been me, I wouldn’t have gone off to Mexico right as a bar business in LA was opening up. Why would S & S be any different?)IMG_0211.thumb.jpeg.4e4552dec56aff52a4a49fd05a53f17b.jpeg

The news posted above regarding Jax & Brittany and the Toms is part of why I found Lala's insistence that Ariana should leave her own house so ridiculous. Even if she is making amazing money now, being a reality star doesn't last forever. Businesses fail. Stuff happens. Ariana is smart to be careful with her money and not spend it like she'll make the big bucks forever.

So Jax is now living next door to Schwartz! 😂. Now Sandoval needs to move in down the hall and since S&S is closing, they can all hang out at Jax's and have different VDR peeps who need to make a buck drop in to cause trouble. That should be the next show - you're welcome, Bravo 😄

I'd watch!

Tom Tom was mainly Lisa’s baby, but she made a mistake by not insisting that they take more responsibility.

I think the Toms doscovered that running any kind of bar/restaurant takes a lot of work. It’s about the hardest industry there is to succeed in, and I bet that goes triple in LA.

Okay, I’m dating myself here with this reference, so apologies to anyone under 50. They should have a Three’s Company-type show. Schwartz is Jack (goofy), Jax is Chrissy (ditzy), and Sandoval is Janice (too serious). Then of course you have the regulars: Scheana and Brock as Mr and Mrs Roper, and Lala as the vulgar friend, Larry. Come and knock on my door…

Well then it won't be Vanderpump Rules! Sorry Lisa but no one cares about you and your fake "girl boss" routine.  I confess I'll check it out because I'm a Bravo junkie, and because I'm curious if her current employees will admit to stealing from her and drinking during work like the OGs did 😄. But I fell like we've already done this with Max, Dayna and the gruesome and hideous Brett, and it did not go well 😖

I don’t think this will be successful. People are used to the cast that’s been around forever, and I’m afraid they’ll accept no substitutes. Off the top of my head, I can’t think of a single addition (outside of Rachel, ‘nuff said) in the later years who had any staying power.

This is what happens when a show outgrows its premise, too. Were we still to believe these people were struggling  in LA? Perhaps at first, but the restaurant angle was ridiculous after awhile. It should have been retooled when they started to move on and got older, or had their own plotlines outside of SUR.

The way Bravo likes to beat dead horses, this didn’t surprise me.

I said it after the last episode of S11 ended (the end looked like a retrospective), and a few times after that. I even posted a link a couple of days ago about the (old) cast not filming yet. Cast members were wondering if the show would continue, or not. And knowing them, they didn’t save any money. Look at Jax. Lala and Scheana bought second houses (and they have two mortgages) last season/year.

The lounge was doing well until Scandoval broke. The Toms were not managing it day to day. Fans of the show were even protesting outside, writing bad reviews on Yelp, etc., I assume without eating/drinking there, and so on.

I think they tried to do that with Dayna and... Totally forgot who they were, but weren't they all cancelled due to racist tweets that resurfaced? (not Dayna, though) Don't remember well to be honest, it seems like a million years ago.

Max and Brett got fired over the racist tweets. That’s kind of what happened to Stassi and Kristen, too — they filed a false police report against Faith, another of the waitstaff.

I honestly didn’t mind Dayna, but she never fit into that group well. Never liked the assistant SUR manager, either, I forget her name, and I think she may have also been at TomTom? I thought she was abrasive.

I’m surprised it lasted as long as it did, with how they approached the whole thing. They played at it. At least Katie and Ariana showed more work ethic. Still blows my mind that they never had a good, functioning website. That’s a must, especially in the food industry. People want to see menus if they’re not familiar with the place. Know I do.

I think the Toms gave up toward the end. And their business partners obviously did too. Greg Morris and his wife (I had to check their names) who are responsible for creating, and managing several successful restaurants in LA. It was probably better the Toms didn't interfere with the running of the lounge. They were the "face" of the lounge, like Jax is for the sports bar with his name.

Tom Schwartz filmed for S2 of The Valley with Lala Kent and Scheana Shay. The level/degree of their involvement is not known.

Although Bravo has decided to revamp VR with a new cast, the door is not closed on the OG cast according to reports.

I think it's all going to seem recycled and inorganic, like most remakes, with them trying to repeat the story beats of the original cast.

No thanks to a new cast. Just make a new show if you must.

A new cast is just gonna be a bunch of fake try hards. I will not be watching.

Agreed. Why do we want to see people imitating Stassi and Jax, etc?

The shop is still open; four-star review overall on Yelp. Seems pricey to me, but that’s a food shop, I guess.

Looks like Scheana, Schwartz, and Lala have moved over to The Valley, so it continues…Tried watching that and just didn’t care. Just not much into Bravo lately. I prefer the earlier seasons of these shows.

Maybe they'll spice things up? The Valley is okay, but people being overwhelmed by their marriages and breastfeeding is boring. That's not what I watch Bravo for.

What made Vanderpump Rules fun was a cast of degenerates and their debauchery.

Dayna was the best of that "new" crew, but none of the rest were likeable.

Shahs is supposedly coming back with new faces and MJ, Reza and GG hanging around to hang around as sort of mentors. I'm sure that's what they have planned for this show as well. I just hope they don't utilize the same casting director as Vanderpump Villa because half that cast was execrable and the other half was dull as dirt. The only bright spot was the curmudgeonly chef who could barely conceal his contempt for those assholes.
