I think I'm the only person in the tri-state area that likes Marissa better than Brittany.  I mean, Marissa clearly thinks she's God's gift to Staten Island, but for some reason I find her (and her commentary) hilarious - I mean damn Brittany WAS like a rabid dog that had to be held back.  I also laughed my ass off when Brittany called Renee over and Renee was like "I said Cheerleader, she didn't say cheerleader"

I am so over BOTH Karen AND Drita at this point and Brittany can't get off my TV fast enough.

I feel like she has.  And her little girl is cute, but she needs to pay attention to the older one, who I think is going through a bit of an awkward stage.  There is nothing wrong with an awkward stage, but it can't feel good to have the precocious younger sibling who is cute and perfect on the scene.

Seriously, she told her older daughter to go do something so she could give the younger 1 her BD present! Who shuts excludes a child like that? That is NOT normal IMO. Drita needs some serious Psych help in her parenting abilities and with her rabid dog temper.

I can't with Karen.  You're never supposed to judge her for what her father did, yet she is always bringing him up as if she is so proud of him.  Which is it Karen?

When the two daughters walked into the house, the older daughter immediately went up the stairs saying she had something else to do and Drita agreed.  I think the older daughter might be like Lee in that she doesn't enjoy being on camera while the younger one does and it was the younger girl's birthday, so I guess she was getting the spotlight treatment from Mom.

 

And I kind of understand why Brittany got so angry at the dinner with Karen, Renee and Carla.  At least Karen and Renee spoke directly to Brittany--it was dear Carla who starts to talk like Brittany isn't there and turning to the other two and wondering out loud if Brittany has a "teacha."  How unbelievably ignorant is that?  Brittany doesn't agree with the other three regarding Drita, it does need mean that Drita is teaching her or manipulating her in anyway.

 

It is kind of strange how much Renee, Karen and Carla seem to dislike Drita and focus all of their anger on her.  Unless this was producer driver, the first three look like horrible friends and hypocrites.

 

God bless you Big Ang, RIP.

I was yelling at the TV when Ang's Doctor said no Chemo or Radiation...I don't know if she ended up doing those, but I wish they'd been more aggressive in her treatment then, in hindsight and not really knowing the whole story of course.

She was such a big hearted fun person and loved her family, so very sad.

Karen tries to step out of the drama and back into her relationship with her daughter. Renee performs in her final ballroom dancing class. Drita continues to steam after hearing Karen's verbal attack and calls for a final sitdown with Karen and Marissa. Ang reveals some disturbing news about her health.*

I really don't like either Karen OR Drita at all and this episode sealed it for me. Karen needs to back off and Drita needs to take an anger management course and some meds. She calls for a "sit down" but then doesn't want to talk, she really was trying to look tough by going for Karen physically even though she KNEW production would never, ever allow that to happen. Marisa is  a pot stirrer BUT Brittany is TWISTED, really sick twisted with some big personality problems.

 

IMO, Renee has come the furthest, made the most progress in her life as a grown adult woman and I wish her well.

 

Ang was THE rock and THE glue that held the woman together until she could no longer do it and it all fell apart because Dritra/Karen put their stupid nonsense first and that took up what little time they had left with Ang. Sad, really sad and I hope BOTH of them are ashamed they wasted that time they had left with her on their petty jealousies with each other.

 

I will say, it WAS interesting to hear that Ditra's husband was not involved with the mob, he was a wannabe and a bad bank robber....nothing more, which means that Dritra's claim of being a "part" of that lifestyle was BS. It also drives me nuts that production is still trying to pass off that Dritra/family live in a single family home instead of the apartment/condo/townhouse complex they really live in because we all saw that fight with their neighbor over a parking spot in the complex's parking lot. It seems that Dritra is nothing more than a POSSER IMO. LOL

Wow, Drita and Brittney really feed off the others psychosis huh? Every time they are together, they talk and talk crap about someone, like they are intentionally trying to get themselves more worked up so they will have the nerve to actually fight.  They remind me of the old cartoon of two dogs - one talking big and the other backing him up.  Talk about delusional. Drita you OWN Staten Island and you OWN Karen and she will only live, breathe, sleep because YOU say so?? I have to say, I have never been a Karen fan, but she 100% called your ass out.  You are delusional to the point that you terroristically threaten to kill someone while the cameras are rolling.  You are half right, Karen .  Drita does talk like a man, but like a batshit crazy one that needs to be medicated.

 

I should have known better than to have any expectations regarding Renee's "dance recital".  It was very stilted and slow, especially for ballroom dancing.  Surely she and her instructor could have taken more time for rehearsal and actually ballroom danced.  And yes, how painful is it to watch Ang so bravely say she is going to kick cancer's ass?  Having watched many loved ones die such a horrific death, it's brutal.

As usual all talk and no action.  I don't advocate anyone getting into a physical altercation, but they talk so much BS that I almost want to see them go at it for a few mins. Marisa is so annoying, wish someone would have shut her up. Also, she thinks she is much more attractive than she really is. Karen does seem to bring up Lee all the time.  She even said something about the reason they are not still together.  Makes me thinks she is sorry they are not.   Drita takes things too far with the talk, all the stuff about owning Staten Island is ridiculous.  I do think that she is the one hurting the most over Ang, which was so sad to watch, just heartbreaking.  if this is a real situation than why wouldn't Drita just go to Karen's house and end this already.  I am not so sure it is all real.  Renee dancing was just boring, who cares.  Carla is a moth, Drita had that right, just a bore.  Carla cozied up to the very girls she hated like poison just to get back on the show.  She is big phony. Well let's see what the reunion brings, but if recent pics of the MW is any indication, not a scratch on any of them.

I've always disdained Karen as thirsty and desperate. Her determination to spin a conflict out of thin air over twenty-year old events in the maiden season forever undermined her credibility for me. But I have to say, this season turned me a half spin on her and shattered the initial appreciation I had for Drita, who has devolved over the years into increasingly unattractive and puerile creepiness. I'm going to quibble with the "all talk and no action" criticism - production has been much quicker to respond this year to the scraps and Karen, for one, came prepared to that stand-off with the studded chain belt that she pulled out of bag. That would have been a throwdown worth watching because she's otherwise disadvantaged considerably since she's much slower than Drita. And it's an unpopular opinion, but I actually liked the addition of Marissa and would have definitely tuned in to see her physically take on Brittany and/or Drita. I also liked the irrevocable fracture that closed the series; on other programs, there would have been hugs, reconciliation, and empty references toward peace. Considering what was transpiring with Ang at the time the reunion filmed, it is pretty gross that Drita instigated an altercation from jump.

In retrospect, watching Drita, Karen and Brittany was really hard the last two episodes, I just wanted them to get it together for Ang's sake and it didn't happen.

 

The tribute to Ang was dreck, but things I did notice was that Marrisa was fame-whoring it up and Drita was next to Ang's daughter for much of the hour.

 

I'm still really sad about Ang, it's the only thing I'll take away from watching this show for five years.

I'll give credit where its due.  I've always respected Renee for being fiscally intelligent.  The rest of the women all drive high end luxury automobiles.  I doubt half of them can afford it.  Renee has always driven a very sensible Nissan SUV.  Its new, its not junky, but its not a high end luxury vehicle either.  And I suspect she may have more money than the rest of the girls.  She has that ugly ass Mob Candy line, I think she and Ang are the most popular or "recognizable" faces of the show, and I already know she is angling for  DWTS stint.  Just to say, Renee probably isn't broke, but she is sensible with her money.  I give her credit for that.  She does a lot of other things that annoy me, but that Nissan has always stood out to me.

 

People kept saying Carla was desperate for money and to be on the show....I didn't really see that until this last episode I watched.  She is thirsty for real!  Unfortunately, she just isn't that compelling, and lowering herself to having to beef with the new girl is just sad.

She couldn't stay away  she was part of the show.  These woman are not really friends.  If you remember the "Big Ang" spinoff, I think we saw Drita once at a party scene.  That show filmed Ang with her real friends. I think Ang was actually Renee's sister's friend.   I remember seeing pics of a B-day party for Carla on Facebook right after she left the show and someone commented "where's Drita".  One of her friends commented," Drita is not a real friend that is just for the show."  I do think that Ang and Drita formed a real friendship, the others I just don't believe it.

Depends on who you ask - according to Karen, Lee (the husband) had the hots for her (Karen) back in the day but wasn't a "real" gangster enough to hang with her dad (who, you might have heard her mention once or twice) so she kicked him to the curb and to this day he's so ashamed he can't look her in the eye.  According to Drita, Karen is someone Lee banged for a hot second 20 years ago, and she (Karen) has been obsessed with him ever since.  Most likely the truth is someplace in the middle.

 Delurking to say that Big Ang's death is a true loss, to her family, to the show and to the world. When I first saw and heard Big Ang, tbh, I thought that she was either a drag queen or transgender because no woman I had ever seen had a voice that deep, not even Kathleen Turner. However, Big Ang won me over with her personality, her humor and her lust for life.  Big Ang wasn't just the best thing about Mob Wives; she was the only good thing about it. My deepest condolences to her family. 

 

RIP, Big Ang.

I had to laugh, they kept filming Drita saying "You're not going to show that" then when asked about what she said, she would deny saying it. She denied it even when they told her they saw her say it on film! I think Drita was afraid that Karen was going to reveal more truths about her at the reunion and that is why she was so intent on fighting and not talking.

 

It was both nice and very sad to see Ang there though, especially knowing it was filmed 2 weeks before she died.

Adam is the real all star for sure. I'm 100% hands down more interested in all of the acrobatics he and the rest of the production crew had to commit to to keep this circus going. Although, real talk I'd probably watch a clip show of unaired footage too.

Both Karen and Drita kept it going, not just 1 of them but both. Yes, Karen has gotten heavier and I swear that Drita is taking testosterone.  It seems that the only one that grew up was Renee. LOL

It seemed that Drita was caught on tape saying some of things she denies she ever said, although not that bad.  All she did was say Karen is brining her father's name into the show and she didn't feel comfortable with that, she never dissed Gravano.   Also when she went outside with the producer or whoever that was she was whispering something like "you don't understand........ Lee" I couldn't understand what she was saying, thought she couldn't sit down with Karen because of Lee. I think there is alot more to this Lee, Drita, Karen triangle than we are seeing.  Brittany and Marissa were a waste of time.  Carla and Renee could have just as well stayed home, they added nothing.  Sad to see Ang, but surprised to hear her agree that Drita instigated her fight with Renee.  Karen and her street twang never shut up.  I was so sick of hearing her voice.  Wonder if she owns any clothes that fit her.  She busts out of everything she wears. Well guess that's the end, doubt there will be any spinoff shows.

No sympathy for her from me, she continued to sign up each season for the show even though she "hated" the show and was "miserable" doing it. LOL Talk about a BS spin story. IMO, she is just as nasty and just as desperate as Karen. This whining is coming from a woman that physically attacked another woman because her husband told her too over a stupid parking slot in their apartment/townhouse complex.
