May 31st. That's nice to hear, but I wish that the CW would just post all the episodes from this season so people could properly marathon the season. I don't really want to pay $40 to watch the entire season on iTunes, especially since it was lackluster (too much LoT and Patty), but I would be happy to legally "rent" access to all the episodes. Unfortunately, Hulu, Netflix and Amazon Prime don't provide the entire season of Flash without permanently buying it. So annoying that Hulu used to carry entire seasons and now only has the last 5 episodes of some shows, which we can get for free anyway through the networks. #firstworldproblems 2 Link to comment
caracas1914 May 25, 2016 Share May 25, 2016 (edited) The final ratings for the season finale: The Flash (The CW) – F1.3/5 3.35 Complete season ratings: 1.4, 1.4, 1.4, 1.4, 1.5, 1.5, 1.4, 1.4. 1.3, 1.3, 1.4, 1.4, 1.6, 1.5, 1.4, 1.1, 1.3, 1.2, 1.3, 1.3, 1.3, 1.3, 1.3. I must say, short of possibly CBS, The Flash ratings were good enough to have been renewed on any of the other major Networks (NBC, ABC and FOX). That has to be a first for a CW show, or at least in the last 5 years. Edited May 25, 2016 by caracas1914 1 Link to comment

Have you looked at what are now typical ratings (especially that prime demo rating) on the other networks this year? 1.3 isn't so bad in comparison. That rating is about comparable with a #7 or #8 placed show on most of them, which given the difference in how many markets CW is available in isn't so bad. 1 Link to comment

ruby24 May 26, 2016 Share May 26, 2016 It's really obvious that the show never totally recovered from those two extended breaks they took after the winter run. It was a on a high from the E2 episodes and King Shark and then no one knew when it was on and then it was off again. Schedule it better next year, CW! Link to comment

Velocity23 August 30, 2016 Share August 30, 2016 Its the usual M.O for the WB owned shows on CW. At least with Arrow the show came on Netflix with the previous season on the day the new season premiered. That will change next season. They want those DVD sales. Link to comment

Variety is reporting that this will change next season: http://variety.com/2016/tv/columns/the-cw-netflix-the-flash-jane-the-virgin-streaming-output-deal-1201812607/ Basically, the deal is that for this upcoming season, Netflix will pay the WB/CBS/the CW more money, and in return, get the rights to start streaming the CW shows eight days after the end of the season. My guess is that WB figures that even with the shows streaming on Netflix, at least some viewers will buy the DVDs/Blu-Rays anyway - either because they don't have Netflix or they just want the DVD/Blu-Ray for whatever reason. Or they ran the numbers and figured that the increased Netflix revenue would make up for any lost DVD/Blu-Ray sales. Link to comment
Trini September 4, 2016 Share September 4, 2016 The Flash #6 on this list of returning TV shows based on 'user engagement on major social platforms'. Quote To rank the shows, ListenFirst analyzed fan growth, responses and conversation volume across Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr and Google+ from May 1 to Aug. 30. Notably, the data exclude Twitter data: That’s because Nielsen has an exclusive deal for publicly ranking TV programs based on Twitter data. 1 Link to comment
HeroWorld September 4, 2016 Share September 4, 2016 (edited) Interesting, considering that I feel this summer has been rather quiet on The Flash front. Didnt expect it would be the most talked about of all DCTV, even Superman is coming to Supergirl. So now I cant wait to see the buzz Flashpoint will create when it actually starts.
