Is it just me or do all the wives, except Robin, seem so very happy since all the separations and divorces?  They are almost glowing, especially Christine and Janelle.

Last night I was struck by how good Meri looks.  Maybe some of it has to do with her being more herself than the sulking whiney boor she was in earlier seasons.

Wow, this is a different Robyn than she's been allowing us to see in the past.  No tears, not as much victimhood, though she is still weaving a tall tale about how the family fell apart.  I thought it was interesting how she said polygamous families should not keep scorecards-  she got the lions share of everything, leaving the rest with the scraps.

I'm really happy for the OG wives...they have unloaded the excess baggage (buns of steel must weigh a lot!) and are ready to live.

Except she still takes absolutely no accountability in the destruction of the plural marriage.

I’ll add another theory: I think it’s all defensiveness.  The 3 OG’s are gone and happy and thriving, so Kody & Robyn have to act (pretend?) that they’re blissfully happy, too.  Deep down I think Kody, in particular, is miserable and bitter, with a huge bruised ego.  Hence all the “Robyn is my soulmate” talk, including that bizarre comment that Robyn’s kids look at him & Robyn with amazement at how in love they are…!  🤢 He’s mad about everything he’s lost, and jealous about everything he’s missing out on.  So he and Robyn are trying to show that their life is great, too, and their family gatherings are fun and special….even though they look anything but!

Couldn’t agree more with your post.
I think Kody was rocked to his core that his first three wives actually left and are happily living the lives they want. In his pea sized brain he expected them to hang around and fight for crumbs of attention and ask his approval of any decision. His view of how important he was to all the wives has permanently shifted and all he can do is bleat about how happy he is with perfect Robyn.

And then says she'd be willing to give plural marriage another shot if everyone involved made promises of some sort but that's not how life works.  And she knows that.  So she's making a show of still wanting to live plural while knowing that the rules she's set would be impossible to follow, thereby letting her off the hook.

I couldn't believe the whole thing with the MSWC website.  As far as I know, people can still put items in their cart and check out.  And Robyn knows this.  I wonder how much money she has scammed that way.  Meri needs to politely but firmly send all inquiries to her.  If it gets to be too much and people are disputing it with credit card companies, they will drop the site.  That apparently happened to Jim Bakker when he was selling some sort of snake oil.

I want to believe that Maddie is smarter than this, but seriously how did she not know that area was a wetland and was going to require a lot of permitting to do anything?  I used to live in the Greenville area and I could have told her that.  Have they pulled utilities where Janelle has staked out her house?  I thought you couldn't start building or even make plans until those connections are there.  I know the events in the episode were over a year ago, so hopefully this isn't going to be another CP fiasco.  I still will be surprised if there is ever a flower farm, but at least Janelle was more realistic and said it would be five years.  Maddie seems to think they would be able to start planting this year.

I love that Jenn mocked the journal and that they reshowed the scene where Robyn hands Meri the bag then immediately snatches it back and takes the journal out.  Robyn is so strange.  And of course she had to bring up that she heard Meri was trashing her publicly.  From what I have seen Meri has just stated facts about their relationship.  Robyn had to trot out the covid excuse again even though she herself was spotted out and about unmasked in 2021.  She treated Meri like crap and expected Meri to continue covering for her.

Everyone has pretty much said it all about that lunch.  Awkward and creepy doesn't even begin to cover it.  And poor Sol looked like he wanted to be anywhere else.  In fairness, I would have worn something similar to what Aurora was wearing to church back in the late 80s (minus the giant bow).  Though, from what I could tell, the lunch was sometime after the baptism because it looks like everyone dresses casually in that church.

Kody can keep his buns of steel to himself thankyouverymuch.  What even was he on about?  I think the testosterone supplements are rotting his brain.

The whole “Janelle just wanted me for my body” was super creepy. She had six children with you, you tool. How about you keep your skeevy Kody thoughts to yourself.

What is he trying to get at with this?  It's not the first time he's mentioned it.  Is he trying to disparage her because he thought she would be the only one of the OG 3 who truly wouldn't leave him?  Because she's left him before.

I get the feeling that after Robyn showed up, Janelle was the only other wife he was still "visiting" and that maybe they actually did have a physical connection, so he can't believe that Janelle would voluntarily leave Kody and his washboard abs and buns of steel?  Not that I want to get into the brain of Kody Brown but he's got a strange fixation on how Janelle treated him like a "piece of meat."  Meanwhile, he had both Meri and Christine actually wanting him and he was like, "ewww nope."  He is such a weirdo.

How he disparages Janelle reminds me of a high school boy that trash talks the girl who finally slept with him.  And the man baby who is a bad lay and needs to trash his exes in vile ways. Forgetting his kids will hear it.

Sol always looks like he is disassociating.

The title of this epi should be. The Land of Kidneys and Knives.

I hope Sol is learning what not to be when he grows up. One can only hope thst when he's old enough, he calls Logen for an assist and ✌️s out on R&K.

The way things are going now and considering his relatively young age he probably won't even know Logen to call out for rescue.

Does anyone think Kody repeatedly makes those comments about Janelle wanting him for his body because he thinks Janelle is lucky to have a guy like him with his "six pack abs" "washboard stomach" and "buns of steel" due to her physical shape?  He repeatedly brought up physical characteristics for a reason.  I personally think Janelle is beautiful and any man would be lucky to have HER - but sometimes I got the vibe from Kody that he thought Janelle was lucky to have him because he's so hot (in his mind) and he was out of her league.  Am I the only one who got that impression?

^Agree^ Which is sadly why I always roll my eyes at the references that J&K had a robust sex life. Because the noodle king of delululand always made comments about the OG3s appearance in negative terms while only speaking appreciatively of Brows 'physical attributes' that he is so enamored with. He's just gross. And J can do so much better. It'd be hilarious if she got together with a buff fireman or a police officer or a construction guy who actually did have a good body.

Another episode of Ramen and Bobbin rewriting the family’s history.  He said, his lovely, shy wife gave the proceeds of the sale of her house to the family.   Hmmm, what about  all the debt she brought, something else she generously gave to the family.  Also good to know he now actually did love his ex wife’s.  He got Bobbins words just right this time and  If only he would have been allowed to show them affection in front of the others, all would  been fine.
