dizzyd September 2 Share September 2 (edited) Omg, I liked Tucker but seeing it all still be about him after he’s gone and the cry fest is too much! The number of times they showed the b&w memory wall pic of Tucker was insane! Chelsei and Leah are now at the top of my like list. Edited September 2 by dizzyd 3 Link to comment
Thalia September 2 Share September 2 How can Angela say she wants to do things on her own and not rely on others, when 90% of her game thus far has involved pleading, begging and presenting the unassailable argument for keeping her in the house: This is her Dream and she doesn't want to Go Home! At this point her best argument for staying (and one I think she has raised when backed in a corner) is that no one else blinks when she's on the block so that is an easy pick for the HOH. And then because she isn't seen as a threat they keep her and get rid of the Tuckers and so called comp beasts. 12 Link to comment
North of Eden September 2 Share September 2 (edited) As soon as Quinn won I was able to FF through 99% of the rest of the episode. Life is too short and I don't have time to waste on anything he has to say or his deliberations. Jeezum T'Kor...how weak how are you? Quinn MIGHT be your target after putting up her two ride or dies? And its disheartening that she insists on protecting Chelsea because that means if Rubina wins HOH at some point she will talk her out of taking revenge for Tucker. T'Kor set this whole sorry turn of events in motion by foolishly putting Tucker up as a pawn when Leah was front and center. I believe someone in the first couple of episode threads predicted Angela spending the summer on the block. Hats off to you sir or madam who nailed that. This SO much; I’m still waiting for Angela to make an argument for keeping herself safe which doesn’t apply with just as much validity to EVERY OTHER FRIKKIN’ PERSON IN THE HOUSE - this is everybody’s dream, and nobody wants to go home. I mean, seriously…!!! 47 minutes ago, Tachi Rocinante said: Gee, isn't it interesting how T'Kor's weird ass accent dissappears when she whispers? I wish; during the egg comp I had to mute the tv and turn on closed captioning because I couldn’t take another second of Bad Katherine Hepburn Impressions. 11 Link to comment

I'm not sure what you mean as I didn't notice Angela having any contraband photos, but if she had photos that were gifted during her HoH reign, she's allowed to keep those. It was interesting to see just how close that HoH contest was. And how difficult it was, which explains why feeds were down for an unusually long time. 2 hours ago, Thalia said: This is her Dream and she doesn't want to Go Home! What do you mean? Of course that's exclusive to Angela. Some of the others have a dream. Some of them don't want to go home. But it takes a dedicated focus to combine the two goals, and that's not easy to achieve. Did you notice the clip of her rubbing and blinking her eyes? Clearly she hasn't retired that weapon, even if nobody's buying it anymore. 1 12 1 Link to comment
GeorgiaRai September 2 Share September 2 Are The Visionaries still a thing? Kimo & T'Kor kept going on about it, but I thought they blew that alliance up with the Cedric blindside. I wouldn't have expected Quinn to show any consideration - much less loyalty - to it. (But I don't always pay close attention.) I don't mind Quinn and would be happy if any of the 3 current noms went home, preferably Kimo. 1 Link to comment
Jel September 2 Share September 2 Why must there always be a Diary Room yeller? Is this a trait they look for? Hoping Quinn gets a deep conditioner in his HoH basket. I have a terrible feeling that somehow Angela is going to goat herself to the end, and then, in a shockingly WTF!? move, a spiteful jury is going to goat her into the win. Putting this down here as a counter jinx ;) 7 1 8 Link to comment

I thought the same thing. Quinn is annoying for sure, but when Kimo was getting all sour-faced about being nominated and T'Kor was talking about no longer protecting Quinn, I had to roll my eyes. They clearly broke his trust on both the Cedric and Tucker votes and valued Rubina/Tucker over "The Visionaries". Why do they believe their actions have no consequences? Even after that, Quinn isn't targeting Kimo and seems to continue to protect T'kor. I hope they feel bad when they watch it back, but I doubt it. I was hoping that when Quinn won HOH, his have not status would be revoked and the 4th dropped egg would become a have not, particularly if that 4th drop was Angela. That was a wimpy move she pulled by waiting to start the comp and reason #1,845,001 why she deserves to be on the block yet again. 12 1 Link to comment
springbarb September 2 Share September 2 I feel like Chelsie and Quinn were a bit too pleased with themselves about the Tucker blindside. Was it a blindside? I mean...I guess, but the other side of the house wasn't particularly surprised by it. As soon as Tucker lost the AI Arena, I don't think anyone was shocked that people took him out. 8 3 Link to comment

A blindside presupposes the target had no idea of what was coming their way - and after Tucker didn’t win PoV, I don’t think there’s a chance on earth he didn’t know what was coming if he didn’t win AI Arena; hell, he was talking about it before the PoV comp even. I don’t think Quinn was even calling it a blindside; he was simply glad to see Tucker head out the FD. IIRC the only one shouting “BLINDSIDE!” was Chelsie - and maybe she’s doing so because she thinks it’s some kind of resume pumper-upper or something - but her excited utterances don’t define reality for the rest of us, unless one chooses to let Chelsie do so for them. 5 Link to comment

It is what the producers basically demand in the DR. DR stuff is all coached up from start to finish and has been for years. 2 hours ago, QQQQ said: Is it possible that T'Kor has a speech or hearing impairment? There is absolutely no evidence of that online or elsewhere. Period. Also someone asked upthread if Quinn would still be a have not now that he is HOH. Yes. Angela was during her 2nd HOH and Brooklyn "stole" part of her gift food as a result. Then there was a countdown until Angela got off of slop and she had a big old sandwich all ready to flop her gums over 1 second after her time expired. Edited September 3 by Skooma Link to comment

I've spent part of this summer doing watches of a couple seasons that I'd originally missed. I can attest that as far back as season 6, one of the houseguests (I believe Yvette) was walking around carrying the picture of her girlfriend throughout the house after her first HOH. So yeah, there has been a longstanding allowance to let people keep their HOH rewards after their reign. 12 hours ago, Rodney said: 13 hours ago, Skooma said: Okay, I stand corrected that she wasn't HOH. In Season 18, when Michelle receives the "Co-HOH" from "America's Care Package," effectively making her a second HOH for the week with full HOH privileges. Although she had stated the week as a have-not, the card specifically stated that as the new co-HOH, she also immediately became no longer a have-not. So Quinn should similarly avoid any have-not penalties this week (especially considering the HOH perks include their own shower and typically all those snacks in their gift basket). 2 1 Link to comment

That’s because when you whisper you are not voicing the same sounds as when speaking normally. It’s normal for heavy accents to become less pronounced when whispering. 2 Link to comment
