S03.E01: Almost Unfamous

I hope it's OK that I started a thread for tonight's Season 3 Premier.

They barely showed the clue wall tonight.  The robin and birdcage definitely point to Robin Williams.  Miguel sort of resembles Robin. 

Well, we know there's a Brat Packer/Breakfast Clubber in the house.

Dedrick slipped and referred to himself as Mr. Jackson.  Michael's nephew, I guess.  He does look like the Jacksons.

People online are saying Adam has to be Michael Bolton's son because they have a similar speaking voice, but I looked it up and Michael has no sons and his oldest grandchild is a teenager.  Could be a nephew maybe.

Miguel must have forgotten his mic was on when he was having his meltdown.

Miguel is really laying it on thick. The way he was "praying" he almost sounded destitute.  Somehow it's hard to believe that ANY relative of a celebrity would allow their relative to be that upset over finances.

Well if his parent left him and his mother high and dry (perhaps before he made it big) they could be hurting for money.

It's a good thing Bianca went out first because she could have won the whole thing  seeing as no one knew what a Peabody award was and probably didn't really know who Robin Roberts is, to guess it.

Young blond girl who's name escapes me: reminded me of Reese Witherspoon or Jewel

Shane reminded me of DJ Khaled

I didn't understnad the full wine bottle clue: Brat pack I got but  then a tiara leaving and then four cups of coffee or tea??

To me it read as Brat Packer princess in club 4 breakfast. I don't know why they didn't just do 'breakfast club' but perhaps they wanted to make it a little more challenging. I don't see anything else it could point to but Molly Ringwald, but Naomi doesn't resemble her much. But she could be like a cousin or niece or something where there isn't necessarily much resemblance.

Hud is John Mellencamp.  There was a pink house and I remember him naming his kid something weird.

The one guy sounded like John Turturro but I didn't see anything on the clue wall to confirm.

I think Miguel’s celeb relative is white since he’s changes his name to seem more Spanish. 
 
there is something in his face/mouth that looks familiar to me like Tobey Maguire or Elijah Woods

I think the Robin was for Robin Roberts, who was revealed as the first celebrity relative.

They showed the lightning bolt on the board when Adam said his clue was super obvious. He also said that he couldn't sing in the talent show because he sounds just like his relative. I found his youtube page. He sounds a bit like his relative but not sure if it's enough that people would have guessed based off his voice. Dedrick definitely looks like he could be a Jackson. But then again, maybe he was trying to fake people out. Need a better look at the clue wall because I feel like MJ clues would be pretty obvious. He said his relative is a singer who has won a best rock song of the year award. Even if one of those is a lie, we know for certain that his relative is a singer musician. 

ETA: I changed singer to musician because it’s possible his relative is in a rock band but doesn’t sing. Although most people only know lead singers of bands.

You're right.  I was thinking Robin William because he starred in the movie The Birdcage.  I guess they were faking us out with the birdcage clue.

Jackie Jackson's son. i've followed the Jackson family since I was 10 years old, so I know his real name is Sigmund Esco Jackson, Jr. (Siggy for short) The show could have easily gone with Jackie as his famous relative, and not with the obvious Michael connection.

I thought Ally Sheedy because I think Naomi looks more like her than Molly Ringwald but the tiara (princess) in the clue seems to point pretty firmly to Molly Ringwald.

Is named Raphael and his aunt is Jamie Lee Curtis.  Which is funny because his two truths and a lie are his relative is his grandfather, an actor and academy award winner.  Which is also 2 truths and a lie if instead it being his grandfather was the truth as Tony Curtis was nominated for but never won an Oscar

Yea, me and someone else said that. But like I said and @ShowsILoveToHate mentioned, Molly Ringwald was the princess in Breakfast Club so I think it's most likely her.
