She's 58.  But she does look like she was in that migration during the Depression.

So she's younger than me. I'm 64. My childhood photos look so much better than hers, and we were not millionaires or tech wizards back then

Had to get the door - did y'all know that walmart delivers moving supplies? Cheaper than U-haul. I don't even have to leave the house. Since they also deliver my groceries, with luck, I won't have to leave until I move. 😄

Worth the move?

Definitely worth it!

I get the 58 gallon Sterilite plastic containers, they're easy to move, water proof and cheap, and stack well for my moves, easy to label with a room number too, so easy to place them in the right room.

I believe her breakfast was a big of Doritos, whatever flavor is in the blue bag.

Just listening to them rattling off that fast food order is giving me nausea. It just doesn't sound in the least appetizing or tempting.

She's going to give it her all! She'll do whatever Dr. Now says! As she shoves greasy fast food down her maw.

"I'm eating chips for breakfast. It ain't the best, but it's something."

See, it's all in how you look at things.

Well, she has to eat SOMETHING. She could grow faint or get malnourished.

I'm a little bit jealous of people who can eat, because I'm having trouble eating this week and I just started Invisalign (hopefully just for a few months), so it's actually hard work to eat enough.

She doesn't look terribly old, just...like years of being poor and having dumb parents sucked the possibilities out of her.

You know, Dr Now tells just about everyone to lose weight before surgery. The trip to Houston is hard on a lot of people, whether they drive or fly. Then, if approved, they have to uproot everybody and everything and move.

Why on God's green earth don't they try to lose weight beforehand? Not a ton, maybe the same 40-60 Dr Now would want. Then they could probably get surgery from any competent bariatric surgeon in their area. So many say that no other doctor would help them, but I don't believe it. I think they wanted a quick fix and felt no one else would help them because any surgeon would say, for their own safety, they had to lose weight first. But here comes Dr Now and they're saved. It's hard to be sympathetic.

The cool ranch Doritos are pretty good, but I really like the retro taco flavor. The prices are outrageous, so I have to ration them.

I tried to be healthy today and got baked scoops. Wrong choice, ew. Even salsa couldn't save them. I rarely even buy snacks like that but it was a fail. But potato chips are a chip too far, sorry Rose.

They probably get a free ride from TLC, so why bother?

I feel this way about low-cal popcorn. It's just nasty.

I did that. Worked great for me. I have a night retainer that I should wear more than I do, but it's okay. At the time, I had to do a lot of speaking and was happy I could take them out if I wanted to. I only did the upper teeth to get them better lined up.

Never fear: she ate breakfast. No skipping the most important meal of the day!

Mr Lemon and I were on the road last week moving furniture from one state to another (the things we do for our kids lol). That road food was awful. Mr lemon was loving it, waffle house, Wendys. My insides still haven't recovered
