Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo

Recommended Posts

Jinger still can’t break her habit of calling everything sweet, And then constantly saying, “I love it”. Plus, she still uses “whenever” way too much. I always look at Jeremy when she says that and wonder if it bugs him.

I do love the fact that they read to the kids before bed. I’m not surprised that Joy doesn’t. My son and daughter-in-law just throw the kids in bed at night, and it always bugs me that they don’t have any reading/quiet time to get close and cuddle before sleep.

This popped up on my Youtube from a month ago.  It's an interview with Jinger by a guy named Lecrae.  Someone in the comments said he's a Christian rap artist.  I haven't watched the video yet as it's an hour long:

eta:  I just finished watching it.  It was pretty good and held my interest.

Lollie seems pretty cool in this season of life. Apparently she carries around a bag of toys and treats for the grandkids. I saw her shopping with Jinger and she must’ve had about 10 sundresses that she was buying. Probably for all the grandkids since her girls are older. She might’ve been a pretty cool mom if she would’ve stuck to a decent number of kids.

She's letting her daughters/granddaughters have bare shoulders now?  Wow.  She has come a long way.  I still remember Josie being chastised for taking her jacket off at a wedding reception.  Michelle forced her to put it back on so her shoulders would be covered.

Jinger eats a salad whose dressing is supposed to induce labor.  She mentions it may contain castor oil.  My mom used to always say castor oil is what women in her day used to bring on labor.  I always thought it was an old wives' tale.  Anyone know if there's any veracity to that?  In Jinger's case, it didn't work.

Didn't Jill try the castor oil trick when she was already in labor with Israel and trying to speed things up? We all know how that went... At least Jinger is smart enough to head to the hospital or birthing center for her births. I often wonder if she saw how things went for Jill and Jessa's attempted home births and wanted no part of that.

There is some veracity to it; but only if the mom-to-be takes enough castor oil to  give herself a bad case of diarrhea.  Even then, it is far from a sure thing.  Plenty of women have taken castor oil, spent the night in the bathroom and were still pregnant when the sun came up.  Major GI upsets can trigger labor if the mom's body is ready, but it is brutal.

I can also see Jeremy not wanting her to give birth on the old family couch. Seriously, he likes appearances and that would not work for him.

Jinger has a nephew named Charlie (JD's son), so Charles may or may not be on the table.

It didn’t stop her from taking Evy after Joy already had one. But that timing was much closer and they already had Evangeline picked out. John’s Charlie is already much older. Unless they call him Chuck.

Is she planning a home birth?

And who is "we" in "we love Lecrae"?

If I wrote a sentence on this site that read, "We watched that video that Jinger posted and did not enjoy it." Would you respond to it with "who is we"? 🙄

we
/wē/
pronoun
1. used by a speaker to refer to himself or herself and one or more other people considered together.

On Kylie Kelce’s recent podcast, she said her OB told her not to do castor oil, that it lead to very messy births—I assume she meant pooping on the table.

I never thought that Tasya ever meant anyone else but her and her family and/or partner. It would be pretty weird for somebody to say “we” and mean a whole board of strangers.

I personally don’t know him at all. Ha.

I would expect someone in that situation to say spouse and I, kid and I, random stranger and I, not we. Unless the we in question is known to be present and included, it's pretty weird to say we.

And wouldn't it be easier to just answer the question?
