I kind of wanted to see one of them take a header to that sewer water-- especially Cam with all that hair! 1 Link to comment

What annoyed me most about Blue was when she completed the exorcism, she posed for a photo, making a "cute" face and throwing one foot up behind her. Moments after screaming in fright, she's looking for the camera. 7 1 3 1 Link to comment

Dustbunny October 4, 2023 Author Share October 4, 2023 Maybe if she'd cut out the theatrics and just gone full speed on the veto comp she would have won, she wasn't that far behind Cam but all her over the top acting, spinning, prancing, flapping her arms, doing a running commentary tanked any chance she had of beating Cam. Which is fine with me, I can't stand her. 12 1 1 Link to comment
Halting Hex October 4, 2023 Share October 4, 2023 (edited) I understand that there are logical reasons for either continuing to target Felicia or switching to Cory. Personally, I'm on the "stay focused" side. As two people in a House of 10, AmeriCory really don't pose a threat of numbers as yet. And with Felicia painting a nice big target on Cory's back, I'm not sure it makes sense to get rid of a possible shield this early. But most of all, I think it would be great if Felicia ended up leaving the House because she wandered out of the "house" during the Veto comp. I'll take my cheap irony where I can get it. Brian Cronin October 4, 2023 Share October 4, 2023 "Cory and America had a deal with me and MeMe, but they approached US" is such a shitty pitch. It's conceding that you had a deal with them, why would it matter that someone else proposed it? 7 1 Link to comment
Brian Cronin October 4, 2023 Share October 4, 2023 The annoying thing for me is that obviously next episode we'll see the further back and forth that led to Cameron's ultimate decision on whether to use the Veto or not, and, like, why couldn't that have been in THIS episode instead of, like, five hours of a long ass veto contest? I don't like the idea of cutting into Thursday's episode just to see what Cam plans to do, when that should be included in THIS episode. 10 3 Link to comment

The veto ceremony took place on Monday and the episode aired Tuesday. That's a fast turnaround. 1 Link to comment
iMonrey October 4, 2023 Share October 4, 2023 Credit where credit it due, that Veto comp was pretty impressive in construction and execution. It amazes me that a silly little show like this can come up with funny and creative competitions while Survivor, the putative "gold standard" of reality shows just recycles the same damn junior high obstacle courses over and over again. I also get a kick out of it when production does that scare tactic thing with images in the mirror. 11 1 1 Link to comment
Cutty October 4, 2023 Share October 4, 2023 This season sucks badly enough without the Cory and America cringemance every episode. I wanna puke in my mouth any time these two are making out. Does anyone find this crap endearing? And sadly, we know nothing about America's strategic game, instead all that's been conveyed to viewers about her is that she's extremely horny. Cirie saying she's trying to blend into the wallpaper is why she is extremely dangerous to keep around. Seems like she's successfully fallen into the background after losing her top two allies. I'm rooting for her but she's going to need to align with some of the meat shields to last to the end. 4 Link to comment

I'm sorry to lose focus on Our Little Patriot quizzing Cory about the Constitution, though. And what is the southernmost land-locked country? Paraguay, right? Unless it's Botswana or Lesotho, but I think South America is farther south than Africa. Link to comment

A whole lot of nothing then they leave us on a "cliff hanger". Should have just showed us that instead. So Blue called Cam girl? Guess we know who she picked that up from haha. Don't get these "alliances". Cory/America should be working with Cam, Jag and Matt. I get covering your bases with Flo and Mimi, but just bad planning by them. I'm guessing since we have "cliff hanger", Cam pulled Flo and put up Cory. This house is all over the place this season haha. At this point, def rooting for Cam to win. 2 Link to comment

candall October 4, 2023 Share October 4, 2023 I like Cam, in general, because he's in the hamster upper 1% who can keep his mouth shut. I think it's clever how he elicits information without giving away anything himself. (If he were on Survivor and found an Idol, he would be able to keep it to himself--a rare talent.) But I was very sour about his superior attitude when he was lecturing __________ about Emily Dickinson, (a reclusive 19th C. poet,) since he clearly didn't know the first thing about her except that she was somehow affiliated with writing. If you're going to condescend to someone, you should at least know your shit. 7 1 Link to comment
springbarb October 5, 2023 Share October 5, 2023 Cory did get the 26th and 27th amendments mixed up. I was only vaguely paying attention, but my husband noticed. (26 is voting for 18-year-olds; 27 is something about voting for pay increases in Congress.) 3 1 Link to comment

I get that a lot of work went into their creepy little haunted house and they were very proud of it, but we really didn’t need to see every minute of it times six. Especially since I’m SURE it took time away from other more interesting things. 7 hours ago, candall said: If you're going to condescend to someone, you should at least know your shit. What, you don’t think Cameron knows everything? About every subject? Don’t tell him, because I’m sure he’ll spend at least 30 minutes mansplaining about why you’re wrong. 9 hours ago, yanksno1 said: So Blue called Cam girl? Just not a heaven with a good vocabulary. 1 5 Link to comment
