I really wonder what Amanda's and Jason's courtship was like.  Was she hot/cold with him too? What did it take for him to leave his family for her? A leopard doesn't change spots and I wonder the crap she's pulled with Ravzan is the same she did with her deceased husband.

It's not uncommon for adopted children to have abandonment issues even when they were adopted as newborns; even when they are old enough to understand why their birth parents placed them for adoption. The fact that some kids have it "even worse" doesn't make them feel any better, nor should it.

I think that Statler's discussion of the impacts of adoption on her is the most (only) honest and real thing about her. I think it explains a lot of her issues; I just wish she could translate that insight into the ability and willingness to address her issues.

As usual, I despise Statler. She is a manipulator, narcissist, and gaslighter. Even her flip-flopping about having children drives me nuts. I'm only 7 minutes into watching the episode, and Statler has already increased my blood pressure. I wish Dempsey could see through her BS and just tell her go on her way, and to not call again. Once again, I have to repeat that I have no idea what Statler's intentions are, but they're definitely not to settle down with Dempsey. I suppose her endgame is either to be on tv, or to pursue stand-up comedy? Who knows, but her personality is off putting.

I can imagine that Yeeno and Jeeeyasmin will get the visa approved. If the embassy needs any proof that their love is real, all the need to see is the footage of her talking about lifting her leg and peeing on him to get him off.

I think she has no energy because she's anorexic. She spends all her energy on hair and make-up, puts on her signature jeans and solid colored t-shirt, spends the day trying to avoid eating and waiting for bed. As someone with an eating disorder, it's very evident she is struggling with food and her body image. She's also a big-boned person so she can't get rid of her hips and shoulders. She has a large frame, which I think makes her insecure. She's not smart, nor clever, and has no personality and Razvan is all three. I can see why she is clinging back to Razvan because he's attractive and adores her and good luck finding a decent guy in the random meth town she lives in. She needs a leader, and I think he could be that for her.

In counseling, as soon as the psychologist gets to an area that's too close to the truth, the client throw up being in foster care, or being abandoned, as the reason they can't go further into the discussion. I don't quite buy it in Statler's position.

I don't remember her ever using it to avoid something, though. And it's good, perhaps, to be aware of the issues you bring into a relationship so your partner's not flying blind.

I thought Statler was refreshingly honest and personally I think it is a bit strange that Dempsey reacted the way that she did after the kids convo. I mean, yes, that IS something you need to be sure you are on the same page about BEFORE you actually bring kids into the relationship, or get married. But, after what, 2 weeks of dating?? I have heard tales of women who on the first date ask a man this and most run screaming in the opposite direction. I mean, Dempsey, are you seriously thinking that Statler is THE ONE and that you guys are ready to settle down? Fuck no. You are still in the getting to know you stage. Figuring shit out. Just calm the F down. And yes, opinions on kids or no can change depending where you are in life. 

Jasmine----of course she loses her shit and has a hysterical breakdown because it didn't go EXACTLY to plan. As Gino said, they did not deny it. I thought she looked prettier with the toned down look and I loved the pink suit. Of course, the previews of the tell all let us know that she is in the US so, obviously she gets approved. Wonder how she loved snowy Michigan, lol. 

Cleo---the crying was over the top. She cries more than Kenny and Armando and Armando's Mama combined. Is it legit? Does she have some sort of mental imbalance? Is this what she thinks woman do when in love? It just seemed over the top and fake for a couple that barely had any connection to speak of, physical or otherwise.

How could I leave out Riley and Violet! I now wonder if there are a LOT of details that Riley left out wrt how much $$$ he sent Violet before his trip to meet her. He didnt' seem to skimp on stuff while in Vietnam and the trip itself could not have been cheap. She was so cold and indifferent to him at least when they were filming...now we find out that she randomly showed up at night at his hotel and they had sex. Yet he didn't share that at all with the camera crew?? Either she was already pregnant or suspected and just did that to possibly get him to pop the question.....or this whole thing is made up on Riley's end.

I noticed they didn't show the screenshots of any of her text messages related to the "pregnancy". He told his "sister" all about the back and forth and tracking down a doctor for her, the offers to pay etc, but we weren't shown any of them. And the texts he did show just seemed....off. She asked him to block her. Why wouldnt' she just block him? I sort of see now why he had so many questions. As he said if she was just looking for a green card and a marriage proposal shouldn't she have been sweeter to him while he was there?  Is it possible that she has some sort of mental illness? Overall, Riley should have blocked this woman and moved on long, long ago. The trip shouldn't have ever happened.

Up to last night, Dempsey had owned the only entire common sense cell in the entire season.  What happened?  They have been in person for two weeks or so, which to me is too soon to decide on kids or live together.  You're still in the coffee and lunch stage.  What's the rush?   So Statler has to renew her lease for a year; that's actually a gift of much more time to get to know one another. There have already been serious areas of incompatibility that deserve much more conversation than kids or cohabitating.

That isn't even addressing the fact that you can't just move to the U.K. next week on a whim.

I agree that Cleo was inexplicably crying so hard over a guy she had zero chemistry with and 99% of the time seemed to want out of there.  A guy that her friend didn't like, also.  Here too was evidence that he's a player and wasn't into Cleo but didn't have the brass ones to admit it and just go to being friends.  Cleo was too invested in making it work out that she couldn't tell herself the truth either. That attempt at romance for a season was one of the most awkward of all time. Watch her be cheated on/ghosted/treated badly as revealed on the Tell-All.

I hate to admit it, being in the South myself, but Razvan is going to get to little spit of a town Louisiana with Amanda, her children, and Jason's ashes and pine for the culture and pace of life back in Bucharest.  I would!  He doesn't seem like a good fit.  Like Miona, who wanted big city and she found herself in not-so Rapid City, South Dakota.  I'm surprised that the flapping green card overran his spot on assessment of their relationship.

This is your life, Meisha, if you accept it: a colorless, bland, vanilla pudding of a guy to whom religion is #1 and who kept you a secret for seven years (or has she forgotten that?)  Will it be seven more years to get the annulment and whatever excuses Nicola can come up with to avoid moving out of Mommy's house?  Next it will be "She's sick and needs me!".  You're not even talking someone attractive, with a good career (as in he has none), with sex appeal, and even a personality.  There have been popes with more charm and sex appeal than this (and they used it).

I am thinking that Violet really doesn't want Reilly, she only wants the child support that she thinks he may provide.  This may not be the first time she has used this to make money. I don’t think Violet is pregnant, BUT knowing 4weeks after sex isn’t odd these days. Home pregnancy tests can very accurate before you’ve even missed your period ~2weeks after sex. Riley is 50 and has NO kids? He either knows how to wrap it up or he has fertility issues.

I could see it as a scam to get money to terminate a faux pregnancy, but no man with half a brain in the 21st century would send child support with out a DNA test and EVIDENCE of an actual BABY.

I think it is telling that she won't go to the doc he found at the international hospital. She was married, she had children before and she should understand that he rightfully wants some proof. I think he has massive issues with her being trans and I think that's why he told production nothing happened in the sack. For Cleo, particularly as a trans woman, I would guess that being with a man who lies about being with you is like the ultimate betrayal and a huge red flag. Frankly, I just look at this show as a dramatic recreation of a made up soap opera st this point because all these folks are so.over the top ridiculous. 🙄

My guess (and as I always, I claim no "inside information"): she's a sex worker whose phone is monitored by her pimp/manager/whoever. They check her Block List and would want to know why his number is on it. But if he blocks her, there'd be no evidence on her phone. She could simply delete the entire text transcript.

Second possibility: Someone else got ahold of Violet's phone and was trying to permanently stop the relationship, so they asked Riley to block the number. Violet would get the phone back and not know why she was blocked, and would have no way of finding out.

It's suspicious either way.

That was bizarre. In a country with sketchy medical care, he's offering her a full-ride OB/GYN and she turns him down? I'm guessing it's because a real doctor would know that she's not pregnant, or at least the timelines with their tryst and the baby's development don't match up.

On Love After Lockup a woman bought a fake marriage license for $99.  So I’m sure Violet could get a fake birth certificate for less than that in Vietnam.  And borrow a friend’s baby for pics.  And the DNA samples keep getting “lost.”

I currently work in a similar type of retail setting. Wholesale is quite a bit lower than retail but the markup has to cover staff salary, insurance, rent for the shop, commissions, etc. After all that, there's only a little wiggle room (at least here, I have no idea how retail works in Jerusalem). I think it was all staged and if I were Meisha, I would have stepped away while they talked finances. I don't know how much my engagement ring cost or how big the stone is and I have no interest in knowing. I only care that it was the ring my wonderful husband chose to propose with, so it's perfect.

I feel like, at times, I've read about research into a male pill but I don't think it ever pans out. I do know that some chemo for cancer will lower sperm count significantly; my brother had cancer during his prime child-producing years and while he wasn't actively trying, his doctors warned him that a) it would be much harder for him to impregnate someone because of low sperm count and b) he should still practice safe sex because they really weren't sure how the chemo would affect any sperm that might manage to swim through and make a baby.

And let me just say that I never, ever want to type that much about my brother's sperm ever again.
