Will Trent in the Media

I hate sports delays, but I have a feeling they think it might get the show more viewers, people who would stick around after watching the game, but not think to tune in otherwise? They seem to believe in the show-- they ran repeats during the hiatus, and seem to be promoting it more than a lot of shows.

What sporting event is it after?

The description is kind of vague, so either they are going to air the Will Trent episodes with college sports.  OR  They are going to air a bunch of college sports and then air the Will Trent episodes straight through without any breaks. Either way, whatever is going to happen won't happen until around January 2025 or later.

I feel like Erika's statement about 'vindication' kinda points to Crystal being the murderer?  I feel like there was a fair amount of dismay amongst the viewers that she covered up the murder of Crystal's pedo stepfather.  So now it is coming home to roost.  And I wonder what this means for Angie's state of mind?  I would bet it kinda puts her into a tailspin.

I just hope nobody dies.  Not even Ormewood!  I still have residual sorrow for poor Cricket.  I can't take a regular getting offed.

I like her, but I don't think this show needs more chatracters,

I wish they would go back to the formula that was working so well in season 1, and not keep trying to tinker with and change what didn't need to be changed.

Agreed on both fronts.  Though TBH, I'd be okay with Angie leaving (1,000% b/c of Christensen's $cientology).

Q: I’m excited for the new season of Will Trent. Do you know if Greg Germann is going to be back?

  Quote

Greg Germann does not factor into Will Trent’s two-part Season 3 opener — nor is James Ulster even mentioned. What we can reveal is that Part 1 (airing Tuesday, Jan. 7 at 8/7c on ABC) sets up a new mystery involving Will’s backstory. Even more titillating: It involves a a period of time in Will’s life that the series has not yet explored.

If Will Trent’s Amanda and Evelyn were contemporaries who came up in APD together, why did Evelyn, upon LisaGay Hamilton’s return this week, suddenly seem so much older than her longtime friend/former colleague?

ABC Renewal Status Report: ‘Grey’s’, ‘9-1-1’, ‘The Rookie’, ‘Will Trent’, ‘Doctor Odyssey’ & ‘Shifting Gears’

  Quote

Meanwhile, Will Trent may be ABC’s underrated success story. Now in its third season, the procedural starring Ramón Rodríguez actually is the most watched ABC scripted series in linear Live+Same Day (9-1-1 is second in viewers and No. 1 in L+SD adults 18-49). With its streaming numbers also solid, Will Trent is considered a shoo-in for a renewal too, with pickups expected as soon as later this week.
