I don't like the way they're setting Joy up.  She seems like she's starting to get obsessed or stalkerish.  She and Alex only dated for about 5 minutes so I'm not seeing why she should care that much about him.

I actually like the actress. She looks "right" as Chloe's sister. And Craig was brought back semi-recently. Maybe he could pop up again?

Abe & Kate were getting hit with Lawsuits(altho I only knew of one from Bonnie), and were afraid of what that would mean for the show, so the Network bought it from them(and Kate & Abe now have Money), and offered members of the cast to move to Los Angeles as they were moving filming the show from Salem, but only Hattie (and Seth Burns) were interested in moving, everybody else has Family in Salem, yada yada.  Even Leo was tempted to move, but he likes living in Salem & he does not want to leave Javi, but then Leo was told he was fired & the Network was hiring a new Head Writer(sound familiar?)

Thanks for the recap! Sounds awfully abrupt and tidy. Did Abe get a showdown with Nurse Crazy? Did they even get into how this show she tortured him with became his new pet project?

Yes and yes.  Abe confronted Whitley in her room at Bayview.  Whitley said that she was sabotaging the show because of how much she feels like Abe and Kate ruined it with Leo's writing.  She was going to kill Abe over it with a lethal injection, but Paulina came in and stopped her just in the nick of time.

That's exactly why she should stay.  It's so infuriating when newcomers instantly get attached to a romantic interest. And we spend weeks of only seeing them in scenes with that person. That's not how life is.  It's not how DOOL used to be. 

She is also a fresh gene-pool, as the Wesleys are not biologically attached to any existing Salem family.  

Put her to work at the Brady Pub.  Brady Black was her brother-in-law, so hire her to work at BasicBlack/Titan/DiMera. Or maybe a clerical job at the hospital.  Let her interact with half of Salem. And I guarantee there will be one scene with someone where the sparks fly.  Then the writers can pair her up.

Joy was MVP today for me. I loved her just telling Alex to cut the bull and tell her the truth. He looked like a weak idiot. I especially enjoyed her pointing out that he was having sex with her as recently as the day before. I still feel nothing for Stephanie and Alex, they have slept with just too many other people for me to think they have any sort of commitment to one person.

Hmmm Sophia needs to unload a baby and Johnny and Chanel want to have one. What COULD Ron be not so subtly projecting here? Also Holly wanting to have sex with a dude who just impregnated another teen girl is just not realistic to me. I was a teen girl and I would have bailed. I like her better with Doug3. New Sophia was good, a little more strident but not a bit adjustment

Leo wailing about his super handsome leading man was just Ron talking about Rob. Shut up.

Hopefully Abe and Kate sink all their profits into saving the hospital, since their stupid show put it in this situation.
