Usually one screws the pooch but this has to be a first... the Pooch screwing himself.

Anyway....very dispiriting episode watching various A-holes continue to scheme against and lie to Taylor. I don't understand what their problem is but its cringeworthy. I only wish she had a better read on these people such as trusting Alyssa.

In the diary room as soon as Ameerah said point blank who her targets were I knew she wasn't going to win.

What was that now Po's Girls? ....whatever...just give me a break...I thought Cappy had a cult but Paloma's possee is given Ivette and the gang a run for their money.

I was under the impression part two would be running the obstacle course again. I wonder if they changed that because of Jasmine...if so then that had big ramifications as she likely would have lost. Speaking of Jasmine...episode one I liked her and was rooting for her but since she's part of the anti-Taylorites she's now dead to me.

Turner and Terry are non-entities and if I'm not mistaken didn't even have any speaking lines tonight. Indy fares a little better but the editors are trying to paint her as  comic relief like a modern day brain dead Lisa Douglas from GREEN ACRES

I hope Nicole lasts until BB Comic books...she looks like a damn real life super-hero.

Ok this whole episode was a cheat. Jasmine slipped on part one of the HOH and her foot touched the mat! It was very clear rewatching it. She should not have been given the win. Julie made a mistake on live TV that they decided not to correct and now that error has huge implications. Jasmine may not even realize it because it was quick and the other houseguests likely didn’t see it so I guess they can’t complain, but it was shown on TV that she fell and touched the mat so production has no excuse.

Has Taylor ever watched a single season of BB? It doesn't seem to me like she understands the game very much. It's not like beauty pageant where she'd be focused more on herself and the judges, and less on her competitors. The idea that houseguests could have multiple loyalties, and that she needs to fit in somewhere doesn't sink in with her.

Meh on the HOH competition. It seemed to me to favor the male houseguests so I was kind of surprised Jasmine won.

Pooch. What a maroon. Please win that veto, Taylor.

Right now I'm pulling for Michael and Nicole as F2.

The way (much of) the house has fallen into the weird anti-Taylor group think is so icky to watch. At this point, I'm mostly just rooting for her and Michael.

It would be awesome to see the house have to kiss Taylor's ass for a week.

I did NOT need the sound effects during that gross HOH comp.

Indy, Brittany, Joseph still seem fairly irrelevant. ETA, I totally forgot about Turner too.

Shut up Jasmine. Shut up Daniel. Ugh.

I found the whole episode incredibly boring.

That little scene with Indy too implies he thinks he's all that while his sparkling personality leaves a lot to be desired.  And now I'm realizing we have somehow been denied showmances so far this season. Knock wood. Production must be so disappointed with this crew so far.

I really am having trouble finding someone to root for in this sad batch. Nicole is out (at least for now) because of the alliance with Daniel, who I find beyond cringey. How does that guy turn himself into Elvis every night?  I don't see it. Elvis was actually handsome and had some, uh, charisma. Yeah, that.

Anyway, there's Taylor, but she does not look to be staying long. Maybe Michael?

I seriously wonder if some of the contestants are intentionally chosen because they are gross douchebags that production uses as fodder for us to hate. I'm looking at you Daniel. I can't imagine anyone paying to see him as Elvis. With those choppers maybe he could be a Jaws impersonator but never Elvis. There is absolutely no sex appeal there. He was the high school loudmouth that everyone hated.

Her confessionals are definitely cringe-worthy. I agree it almost sounds like she's doing a character on purpose. It's so over the top. I'm waiting for her to go "Golllllllllllllllll - leeeeeee!"

There is no pie that is that color yellow, or that color blue, or that color green. I thought cake frosting too, maybe. Whatever it was seemed to taste ok, Taylor was still eating it out of her hands after she was eliminated. 

That comp was gross to watch, BTW. It went on way too long. I suppose production thought it would be hilarious but I don't enjoy people slurping their way through some concoction of God only knows what, it was disgusting.

The only person who could have been delighted by Daniel's OTT production would be Daniel's mother.  He's a professional entertainer?  Holy shit.

But I was already anti-Daniel after he carved out the old guy and the nerd and spun some kind of nonsense about "competing superfans."

And now Jasmine can miss me with her ridiculous affect and taters.

So far, the only part I've enjoyed was watching the longshot come in when Michael saved himself with the POV.

Such a thrilling episode I forgot to even surf by here afterwards let alone post... not sure when the last time I did that was.

This casting continues to really light up my tv screen I guess!

I was just about to mute the OTT antics of our worst-pick-of-anybody-to-host host with the 'stylings' he brought to his 'part'. I'm sure he was loving yukking it up and thinking he was being soooo funny. The fake accent obviously was triggering Jasmine too, as her accent then went bonkers. Both racked up a BUNCH of marks against in this one.

I was really put off by Taylor finding it so yummy she was eating a big scoop out of her hand after being eliminated...

I found it funny how much the 'girls girls' felt: 'A win for Jasmine makes it like we are ALL HoH this week!' and proceeded to lay out exactly who "they" think they should go up and why totally independently from ANY input from Jasmine herself who was sleeping. I'm sure them telling her their plan started something like "We decided what WE should do this week!"

Taylor can't leave soon enough for me. I can't stand who she is ALWAYS on and has her Pageant Girl persona dialed up to 11. Hosting that comp also got 'Elvis' on my list for the same reasons. There are so many fakey/ott hg's in this cast it makes me tired attempting to cut through the BS to grab some stupid summer entertainment from this season.

Two of five stars, would not suggest.

Julie does not typically appear on the Sunday episodes. I guess there might have been an expectation that she would finish the HoH comp since it ended halfway through on Thursday, but we've seen others take over when it spills into the Sunday show before. Also, they apparently had to take an unknown amount of time for a break to determine the extent of Jasmine's injury. And possibly to set up something entirely different than whatever was originally planned for HoH Part 2 because of said injury.

When one of the gals said she wanted to target Turner and Pooch it hit me for the first time that those two guys are one letter away from being an old Tom Hanks movie.
