Season 23 Live Feeds Discussion

Message added by statsgirl,

We understand that some hot button topics are coming up this season, such as with the Cookout. Reminder that it's ok to disagree but do NOT break our Be Civil rule. Keep your comments about the show, NOT about the people on this forum. If you can't disagree civilly and without talking about the posters, utilize the Ignore User function or scroll past their posts. And reminder that there is more to this season than the Cookout so if you feel like a conversation is going in circles, feel free to move on to something else. Christian has sunken into his blue hoodie, wiping his eyes and clasping his head. All he can focus on is the two months before he will be reunited with his beloved.“Two months”, he mutters over and over. He looks like the saddest Smurf ever.

“Don’t give up”, Alyssa urges. “Otherwise you’ll just have a bunch of ‘what if’s’.”

“What if I got to spend more time with you”, he counters. “I never got to see Zingbot! I never got to see Otev! It’s not faaair!” he wails.

He bows his blue hooded head. “I didn’t even get to make an impression on the game”, he sighs. Alyssa rests her head on his shoulder. How much do you want to bet she forgets all about him 5 minutes after he leaves the house?

Christian says he is resigned to going home to see his puppy.

Alyssa says, "and watch me on TV."

He dutifully repeats, "And watch you on TV."

Alyssa tells Xavier she and Christian are going to have a date tonight. He's going to pick her up at midnight, they'll go to his place to see his jet ski . . .

BUBBLES while Xavier rips a big one that "wrecks his asshole" according to Alyssa and Christian who are laughing.

Wait… I missed the first part of this, but is there a crack in the CO? That X is going to take advantage of?

I just heard Ky proposing something to X that involves Derex. It sounded like either Ky wants to form a sub alliance, or he wants to invite Derex into the CO. Whatever it is, X seems to agree but they decide the rest of them need to know, to avoid dissension. Ky leaves, and X paces, stroking his chin and thinking. He says to the camera that he needs to tell the others first, so they will be mad at Ky and they will love him (X).

Anyone catch the full conversation?

Now Alyssa and Xavier think there is a competition where the evictees can choose money or a chance to get back in the game.

I need to switch to some sanity, I see Claire on camera 4.

If the cookout holds and all or most of them get to the end, and especially if a member wins...one of the big incentives for its formation will be removed next season.

One of the big reason it formed was to show that a POC could go far. That will be shown, if they succeed.

These people have spent too much time in isolation. Conspiracy theories are abounding. Aside from those, both X and Alyssa are convinced there will be a live audience for the finale, because Covid restrictions were lifting when they entered the house. (They are variant ignorant.) This cheers Christian a little, because he wants to attend.

Now they are setting appointments for Christian to watch live feeds so X and Alyssa can talk to him. Come on, Button Boy! Be our hero!

Deref and X try to strategize, but then Alyssa comes in to do a fashion show.

Many boring minutes later, Alyssa leaves and Deref and X get back to the main conversation. Which involves trashing Tiffany and complaining how hard she is to deal with. X says his main allies are Christian and Alyssa, and he is clearly conflicted. Deref is beyond upset with Tiff and he doesn’t trust her at all. He also doesn’t like her barking orders at him.

Deref sees Hannah as Tiff’s puppet and Tiff is going to get either Deref or X out first. If it gets to the point where CO members are still there but so is Claire or Britini, Tiff may have to go. Because he’s not going to wait for her to off him.

And I have to go, which sucks because this is getting GOOD, but cracks are forming, y’all, and things are about to get crazy.

And don’t forget— Porn giggle hair flip in the HaveNot room tonight! Be there or be… dignified?

Christian needs someone to say "Mommy will kiss your booboo and make you feel better."

Christian says IT'S NOT FAIR!!!  He doesn't get to play in more competitions and the comps he wanted to; he doesn't get to play Zingbot or Otev; he's going to miss out on the fun times. And he will miss hanging out with Alyssa. And he's not leaving a thing behind, a thing that will make an impression on the house and make him memorable.

But, but....it's a game!

Somewhere Whitney is giggling her huge veneers off.

Button Boy is sending us to the SB one-on-ones and keeps interrupting the likely more interesting conversation in the coffin bed room between Deref and Ky, and Azah has joined them now.

ETA - SB did reassure Azah, and now Claire, that she's not going after anyone who is voting to save her this week. So, Britini and Azah can rest easy in their votes to evict Christian.

Well, can't say I'm surprised that the rest of the Cookout is catching on to Tiffany's Vanessa tendencies; my gut feeling for a while has been that she'd get herself bounced in the double (or sooner) if she didn't throttle down some, and here we are. These sound like the kind of rumblings that not even her get-around game might be able to quell.

At least it'll liven things up if the CO turns on each other in the next couple of weeks.

I knew it.  I knew Tiff would try to keep Christian (she's trying to convince Claire right now).  She is SUCH a Vanessa, but doesn't have the back-up Vanessa had.  Her ass is totally going to be voted out DE.  I want Jokers to vote him out, leaving her exposed.  I love you Tiff, but you are WAY too messy.

Edited:  Derex talking to the Jokers, wanting to bring in Claire/Tiff so everyone can agree on their votes together.  Deref is about to go OFF on Tiff and her bullshit with the votes this week.  Y'all, it could get good tonight.

Christian keeps berating himself for not taking Derex out last week. “The one person I wanted out!! Why didn’t I do it when I had the chance!!”

It's kind of hilarious that I watched this exact scenario taking place right after the veto meeting, 2 or 3 days ago. It's feeds Deja vu!  Christian's train has one track and is about to derail.

So last night:

  • Deref got mad about Tiffany being Tiffany and ranted to Azah about how he wanted to leave the Cookout. Azah talked him down like a good team member.
  • Azah then stewed in her own anger at Tiffany (earlier, when Britini was sobbing to Tiff about how hard lying is, Azah asked Tiff for a couple minutes to talk. Tiff said yes, then took off her microphone and went to bed. Heh.). I assume she stared at the ceiling and seethed.
  • Kyland got called to do his sandwich punishment at something like 4 am and had to make them for the whole house. This is a fucking production for Kyland and it has to be right every time (he scraped the burnt bits off the toast even though no one would eat the sandwiches at 4 am). Azah got up with Kyland and started telling him all about how they're mad at Tiff. Kyland also has issues with Tiffany, her delivery, and her gameplay. So then he was fired up. At 5 am. With no sleep. After making a shit ton of sandwiches dressed like a donkey (insert "welcome to Big Brother!" GIF here).

I'm assuming at some point, Kyland told Xavier about this and this is where we ended up? Did Deref actually start something? See what you can do when you finally get the motivation to leave your couch bed, kids!

Damn it!  Feeds went off for awhile, and shit went down.  Tiff is ALL pissed off in the HOH with Claire and Derex and saying "I don't talk to them, I don't talk game to them, they don't know me, I am livid".  Saying to the two of them that she only trusts them and does not lie to them (lying liar that lies) is a bit rich.

Apparently the Jokers DID come in the HOH room where Tiff and Claire were trying to flip the vote, with Derex and called her out a bit.  AND THEY DIDN'T SHOW IT!! ASSHOLES!!  Or wait, Christian and X came in with Britini?  Y'all, I have no clue what just went down.

So, if everyone votes to evict Christian (except Alyssa, of course), that means SB would go after… no one? (Except Alyssa, of course.)

Amusing corollary to this story: This afternoon, X went around asking everyone how many sandwiches (or “sammies”, as he kept calling them, and STOP THAT, X) they wanted because there were a bunch left over from the 4am cook and he wanted to make sure they were divided evenly so no one was left out, but mostly he wanted to make sure he got as many SAMMIES as he could because he was hungry and they looked delish, and he got it figured out and went to grab his SAMMIES and…

”DON’T, Xavier”, producer voice admonished. Turns out, 4am Sammies must be consumed at 4am or not at all.

He was so disappointed.

It seems like the button Boys are instructed to take their wands and blow some bubbles whenever there is a bit of game talk production might want to use for the TV episode.  The thing is they deny the live feeders way more footage than production would ever use for episodes.

Production was my hero yesterday evening when they called Kyland to make sandwiches for all the men around dinner time. Alyssa waited and waited. And waited. And then two hours later, was still bitching that Production didn't call for the women to get sandwiches so I guess she's just not going to eat? Or something? Like UGH. I think she got one an hour after that or something but man, it was fun to watch her whine about her lack of sangy while Christian and Xavier were crushing down theirs.

OK, So X (Who really only cares about saving Christian right now, let's just be honest), Ky and Hannah talking about trying to broker peace between Tiff and Deref/Azah.  Which, good luck.  They came up with a plan for X to "Mediate" between Tiff and Deref/Azah in the HOH while Hannah/Ky keep everyone else distracted.

This.....will not go well.

Oh I saw Derek letting Tiffani in the bathroom early yesterday morning.

I watched this conversation yesterday and it was pretty tense. It was hard to tell if Derek would stick to his plan or not.

I'm a huge X fan right now.  Boy, that man has worked HARD today, and apparently it is for the CO.  He just straight up told Tiff - look, it's about what the 6 want. You want Christian, I want Christian, but I asked all the six, and the other four want to evict him, so that's that.  It's done, let's try to make this right.

I don't think it's going to be right between Tiff and Deref/Azah, but at least it sounds like Christian is still going.

Tiffany needed to wait to talk to Britini. She made such a huge spectacle of it.

I guess they had too much material to use, but I was disappointed that they didn't show SB asking Britini to throw the veto to her.  I didn't quite understand how/why she thought that would work and wanted to see it play out.  Of course, seeing how she broke down at the thought of Derex taking the $5000, I guess she just has a problem understanding that what's good for her may not be good for someone else.  That attitude won't get her far in this game.  Small sacrifices for big rewards.

Is Production so tied to the idea of the Cookout that they keep cutting the feeds whenever they talk about breaking up? Like, is that a thing that we're doing now? Because it's really fucking annoying and Eeyore whispering another 25 minute long rambling speech on all four cameras isn't my idea of fun feeds.

HERE WE GO AGAIN.

So after our fake-ass nothingburger of a House Meeting ended, Christian immediately went to go lay on Tiffany in the hall bedroom, pulling out his biggest sad eyes and his tiniest baby voice as Tiffany cuddled him and petted his curls and told him that she's "still fighting for you, I'm just mad and need a break". Alyssa was in the bathroom with Xavier, moving on like a Cool Girl does painting his nails for the live show. Christian leaves Tiffany and goes into the bathroom to tell his team that Tiff will vote for Christian to stay if Britini swears she's voting for Christian.

Enter Britini with a nail polish smudge emergency. Alyssa immediately takes her under her wing and starts fixing up her cuticles while furiously whispering about how Tiffany is going to come to Britini and ask about her vote and Britini needs to be confident when she tells Tiff that she's voting for Christian to stay. Xavier moves and Christian physically presses in. Now Britini is in the literal corner, being cornered by Christian telling her how it's all up to her, she needs to be strong, it's okay and also you totally have permission to vote me out if everyone is voting him out but they aren't! They have the numbers if she promises to be strong with Tiff. #freebritini

Britini is freed leaves escapes. Alyssa looks at Christian and questions whether Britini looked unsure. "She'll do this," Christian says.

Well, no she won't. Now Britini is sobbing in her bedroom to Xavier about it. Again. It's so haaaard! Why is it so haaaard? Wait until Deref hears about this - he might threaten to turn Tiffany into a pawn for two weeks now.

You know how episodes of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition have that moment where the family come home from their super awesome Disneyworld trip and there's that big vehicle blocking the view of their new shoddily put together house that you probably can't sell easily because who the fuck wants a kitchen that looks like a treehouse? And everyone does that big chant: Move! That! Bus! ?

That's me with Britini on the feeds, only I keep chanting Flip! That! Vote! Because I will always and forever be Team Fun Feeds before I'm Team Anyone and a vote flip to keep Christian? Fun Fucking Feeds, y'all. She won't because she's having the vapours over the idea of not telling Christian the truth tonight so there's no way she can engineer a vote flip but somehow I still have hope when it comes to this show? I dunno how.

Welp. Tiffany just said she's not flipping. Womp womp womp.

Tiffany, probably: "If we can just get The Six back together..."

Oh, she's 51% vote out Christian, 49% vote out SB. And there's still time! But no. But maybe if Britini had come to her earlier? But no. Though there is time. And there would need to be some damage control done. But no. But maybe? She's gonna think on it.
