ohjoy November 12, 2020 Share November 12, 2020 After Wade has an instant connection with a woman he met briefly in a parking lot, he’s determined to find her again. Also, Michelle waits to hear from the colleges she applied to for her business degree, and Natalie tries to convince Wade she’s old enough to get her ears pierce. Harvey November 13, 2020 Share November 13, 2020 Forrest trying to introduce Wade in the "right" way at the beginning of the episode was hilarious! 😄 This episode was so cool, Shannon is just adorable and it was so funny when Wade finally found her but he had to leave because the security guard was coming XD. 5 1 Link to comment
Kiddvideo November 13, 2020 Share November 13, 2020 That was sweet. Wade was more ok with the group withholding information than I would've been. I hope his daughters like her. I really like Noah even though he's the precocious kid stereotype I usually don't like. Forrest -- isn't he in HR? And he's worried about asking for a chair? I did like his satisfaction that someone else requested one, too. Power to the people. 5 Link to comment
DanaK November 13, 2020 Share November 13, 2020 That was a pretty hilarious episode. I’m glad they found each other though both were clearly awkward about it The standing desks in my government agency before I retired were sit/stand desks. You could sit normally but you could also raise the desk up and stand. If those really were stand only desks, then Forrest must have inherited one and been too afraid to say something. I don’t believe for a second a company would force everyone to stand. That’s an HR nightmare waiting to happen 5 Link to comment

Armchair Critic November 14, 2020 Share November 14, 2020 (edited) Wade and Shannon’s (?) teeth also match. Glad it’s back. Edited November 14, 2020 by Armchair Critic 3 1 Link to comment
tennisgurl November 14, 2020 Share November 14, 2020 Shannon seems really great and I glad that Wade found her so quickly. Him dating a woman with a kid should be interesting, I wonder if her son and his daughters will get along? This show is so sweet, I am really glad that its back. I especially loved everyone commenting on the school being an hour away (is a great education not worth the drive!?!) and Forrest being all smugly satisfied that he started a chair revolution at his work. 3 Link to comment
possibilities November 14, 2020 Share November 14, 2020 But what was she doing dropping the kid off with her ex-husband? I hope that turns into an interesting story, and not just a plot contrivance. A pediatrician have lots of patients with impacted colons is a rather disturbing situation. 1 Link to comment
ElectricBoogaloo November 14, 2020 Share November 14, 2020 Man, Raylan Givens and Boyd Crowder really have the same taste in women, don't they? That's two that they've shared between them now! 1 3 Link to comment
ZoqFotPik November 14, 2020 Share November 14, 2020 Speaking of, did Winona and Boyd ever interact? It's been so long I don't remember. 1 Link to comment

I get that maybe she would drop the kid off and her husband would pick him up, but why would both parents be in the same car together in the morning? 3 Link to comment

hoodooznoodooz November 18, 2020 Share November 18, 2020 I thought the funniest part of the episode was the name of the episode. 2 Link to comment
Roaster November 21, 2020 Share November 21, 2020 Here's an example of why I find this show so artificial. About 80 percent of the way through this episode the adults are sitting on the back porch drinking wine (because these are the kind of people who love drinking wine with friends) and the doorbell rings, and they think it is the pizza delivery. A minute later one of the kids (boy) come out and says to Wade: There is a very attractive lady here to see you. It just seemed so forced. How many kids this age, 10 or 12 maybe, would call a woman very attractive? I know the show is a middle-aged fantasy for middle-aged romantics, but come on. 1 Link to comment

And he thought he wouldn't if he asked for a regular desk/chair because he wanted to fit in. Forrest is in HR but I got the sense that when he was job searching, he came across companies that had a more hipster vibe. And yes, I love that he discovered he wasn't the only one who wanted to sit down lol. 2 Link to comment

I think all his lines are forced. I don't care for his mom on the show either. Nor did I like her on the Roseanne reboot. Link to comment

But he didn't want to ask for a regular desk because he's trying to fit in. Then he gave up and, it turns out, he's not the only one who doesn't want to stand all day. So funny! I think this ties back to Forrest's job search and stumbling upon these companies where the culture is so different from what he was accustomed to. It's exaggerated but it's still a funny and relatable thing. On 11/14/2020 at 3:42 AM, possibilities said: But what was she doing dropping the kid off with her ex-husband?
