Anyone else flashing back to last season, the hot tub folliculitis, Jackson telling Holly that if he has to wait more than a week for sex "it's her problem", and Jessica evicting the sex stool from the shower when she won HoH?

Yay, memories?

WHEN JACKSON WHINED THAT IT WAS SO COZY IN HOLLY'S VAG???

Edited by Alice Mudgarden

I remember when Holly developed a problem in her lady parts and was given medicine and told to ease up down there for 72 hours. Well that was apparently too much time for Jackson so Holly gave in and I guess her lady parts burned and suffered in silence. God, why can't I remember to pay the bills but I can remember the story of Holly's lady parts?

We never actually saw Basement Nicole manifest last year, did we? Because we could seriously use some of that now, but it sounds like I shouldn't get my hopes up.

The husband has been on a watermelon kick for the past few weeks - I've been calling him Jackson for a week or so now. He's not a fan of his new nickname.

Would he prefer "Michie"?

Ronnie the rat!  Yes!  I started rooting for Jordan the week he ended up going out where she just straight read him, and let him know how he fucked up, in the nicest possible way, and I fell in love with her.

Jordan is one of my favorite houseguests not because of gameplay, but because she brought me so much entertainment that summer.

Da’vonne brought up Jessie to Keesha if she has talked to him since her season (she thought Jessie would be on this season since he was taken out twice by a twist) Kesha gave Da’vonne a look and said they were at a charity event together and it was super awkward.

No, we kept hoping Basement Nicole would show up but I guess it only works if there's Christmas gifts.

Petition to air drop some wrapped boxes into the backyard when they're (finally) allowed out.

I saw hands hitting the table. ARE THEY PLAYING BIG BOOTY? I HEARD BIG BOOTY.

I finally got the feeds and the first live bit I see is the old school favs isolating from the group playing charades, I think? This makes me sad.

But hello, Kaysar and Memphis! It's really nice to see contestants other than 20 yr old influencers playing. (And get off my lawn TikTok whippersnappers!) For as long as they stick around.

What was the reason(s!) for nominating Keesha and Kevin?

I always thought Tyler and his crazy eyes were fairly cute but that hair is just a no.

SHUT UP, IAN.

That counter of produce is beautiful. Are they all on healthy eating kicks until the stress kicks in? *slowly puts leftover pizza back in the fridge*

James Rhine used to (maybe still does) fuck a woman from every season.

James man, after a while you have to realize you're like the Matthew McConaughey character from Dazed
and Confused when he said, "I keep on getting older and they stay the same age."  It just gets pathetic.

Enzo says Keesha is just acting like the "old mom in the house." Idgi. They're the same age (42).

I knew Keesha was my age, but I did not know Enzo was as well.

Cody talking about how it was no question if he could choose between being at the end with Victoria or Derrick:  "And also Victoria was just some type of way."  I'm so curious how many words are actually in his vocabulary.

What does that even mean in the context of any kind of sentence?  The way he speaks is like the way I make typos.

Speaking of Howie he achieved his dream of being a Weatherman! He is the Weather guy in Alaska on one of the local chanels.

I was going to actually ask if Kaysar or Janelle had brought up Howie and what he was doing.

Ian asked Janelle the first night!

Lol Ian talking about his stimming in the hammock made it squeak and how it annoyed people.

ETA, since he elaborated: Ian looking himself up and seeing people talk about his autism in what I assume was an unsympathetic manner sounds hurtful. I may not like the guy, but it's not like I want him to hear mean things about something he can't control. Like, seriously, people. Maybe don't be heartless about a condition? The squeaking was annoying, but really.

HAHAHAHA!! Ian talking about the hammock, how everyone hated the squeaking, and it made people sea sick. He doesn't want to do it this year because of how everyone took it.  Ian??  YOU ROCK THAT HAMMOCK!  I don't care!

Aw, shit, Ian would search himself on Google and what would pop up is Ian Terry Autism, and he didn't really like that.

Oh God, this is how you know I've gotten old and stopped just thinking about myself. I'm softening on the hammock rocking. I DON'T WANT TO FUCKING HEAR THE SQUEAKING but I get it and if I could live through Christie chewing last season, I guess I can put up with the EEEEEE-eeee-thump.

It could all be solved with a little oil or some such. The squeaking doesn't have to be an inevitability and yet.

I'm really enjoying this whole conversation.  Ian is saying he didn't even accept it until after his season and reading how everyone diagnosed him, but now he's OK with it.  Everyone is being supportive and interested and these are the conversations I really enjoy.

You can also tell by these convos that this cast was screened for, well, assholishness. I think they wanted to get people who even in their worst moments wouldn't say something truly awful about Ian's autism, anyone's sexuality, or anyone's race. Because I can totally picture the crew from last year, the BB15 and BB19 casts being really vile about this.

Kaysar's Enzo impression is pretty funny.

Also funny was Christmas saying that Enzo reminds her of Kevin from her season.

Who infamously had such a crush on Christmas, we thought he was going to leave his very long marriage to have a little romp under the tree with her.

OKAY, CHRISTMAS.

I've only seen Enzo for a short while, but I admit he seems nicer than I might have thought. Huh.

In BB14, Enzo called out Lane for using the F-word gay slur in the house. When Lane joked that he lost some fans from him saying that but who cares, Enzo very calmly just played with a Jenga set and talked about how he would never use that word, he was raised not to, and he has gay friends. It wasn't perfect allyship but it was a hell of a lot better than Lane. Enzo has his issues - he said some horrific things about women - but he does seem like he's trying to be better than the average dudebro.

Feeling for Ian because of his autism is one thing, but this? This talk right here is sheer lunacy.

I mean, they transitioned (at Ian's request) to how Enzo likes Ian's voice and how Kevin finds Kaysar's voice soothing and then Franzel busted out with a joke about her own voice. It was a cute moment.

It became hilarious when Franzel said that Victor told her it's not as bad in person (snerk) but for a moment, she actually made me laugh.

Reading about her here and remembering how she was on her second season, I just for the life of me cannot understand why I liked Bad Nicole so much the first time she played.  Is it because she was an underdog?  Was she that bad during that first season?  Is it because there were so many more people who were far more unlikable?

That is the greatest save. Well done, Victor.

"No, your voice isn't that bad! I mean, its pretty bad, but way less bad in person. We're still engaged, right?"

@Callaphera, good to read about Enzo standing up against that slur. If those comments were awhile back, I hope he could have continued to grow.

So far, it seems like the cast is a little more mature and less ass-holey (or more brand aware at least). It'll be interesting to see how it goes when the fur starts flying.

I don't want to lose Keesha or Kevin yet. Dang.

Yes. She was catty to the other girls of course behind there backs, but was never part of the big alliances which made her rootable. Plus Christine wanted to be the last girl standing. It was pretty easy to root for her against Frankie, Christine and Caleb.

So I guess they have a bidet in the BB house this year?  I'm sorry but I really didn't need to listen to Keesha and Ian talk about this although I feel blessed to hear Keesha's laugh again.

They got some real improvements to the house. A bidet. Air purifiers (except for Cody). And the trade off is limited hot water.

Maybe the plumbers for the set screwed up and ran the hot water line to the bidet?  Now THAT would be a helluva twist for the season....

Bad Nicole! Bad! Go in the corner and think about what you've done.

Dammit - I just spent the better part of the last three months housebreaking two willful puppies, and you go trotting that shit out.  Now all I’m hearing in my head is, “Bad Nicole! Bad!  Not inside!  Outside!”

Janelle talking the final HOH from season 6. Ivette thanked Janelle for her vote. There was a BB6 reunion on zoom recently people who did not show up was Michael, Ivette, Eric and Maggie (sounds like it was for some charity on Evel Dick's site). She said Ivette is pretty happy now and has young kids.

Janies social game is very strong. She can talk to anyone and doesn't sound like she is editing herself. Or being fake to get along with someone. She is very straight forward. I like listening to her. She is so relaxed and sounds so real. Some, ( dani/nicole) sound so phony.

I've been pretty impressed so far with her social game. Talking to Bayleigh about pageants and she was talking to Cody earlier because he just started as a real estate agent.
