Yes it’s so strange!  I’m pretty sure she has enough family help to not have to rush back to work.  And maybe Maxie was just trying to make her feel better but given that Lulu was in a coma for four years she’s not “overqualified” at all.  And as far as Brooklyn, she’s totally right.  Why would she hire an assistant who openly dislikes her (and the feeling is mutual)?  Dumb.

Shenanigans ensue. Lulu needs to be as much in BLQ's face as possible when it's revealed she had a teen pregnancy, gave up the baby, never told papa Dante about it.

Did Brennan get Michael accepted into this German clinic, arrange medical transport, and pay for it with WSB money? Because Carly is just that special to him? GMAB. I could maybe see the WSB approving this if the critically injured patient had been Robert or Anna or their daughter/Robin's son or daughter, or Maxie or one of her kids since Frisco is her birth/biological father. But Carly and her kids have zero value for the WSB.

Brennan has been many places and has many opportunities to meet women who appeal to him - women who are as or more attractive than Carly and have actual life accomplishments. I feel like the Show is just trying to create a new Jax-type character, Australian accent included, and (again) providing zero valid reasons why he is so thirsty for her time and attention.

Well, of course Sasha knows-she's the one who fucked the SLS and is pregnant with their spawn. Which is why many have stated here that Sasha is in NO position to be the judgy McJudgserson she's been acting like.

Brennan arranged things, but I don't think he's having the WSB pay for Michael's treatment or the transport. Given that the clinic isn't some supersekrit facility, it's not that egregious. Anyway, that's the MO of our independent leading lady: Carly never does anything that someone else can do for her.

I'm confused as to:

Why the Kai character is in the opening credits?

Why Laura would be having an in-office visit with Lulu expressing worry about Lucky and making her aware of Sidwell. Don't Lulu and Lucky both live with Laura, Kevin and Ace at the moment?

Why in the world Kristina is being such a ridiculous Sonny proper, determined that he should have custody of Avery and practically glossing over the fact that her brother just got blown up in their dad's home?! She genuinely seems more worried about him than the safety of either of her little sisters. UGHH.

Drew seriously thinks he's going to get Willow and the two kids to move into a house with him and Scout?! Another UGHH.

Again, Willow does not deserve a friend like Chase. Her talking/acting like they're besties is so deeply weird after how she treated him. I can't believe he asked her to tell him what his test results say!! I did not have "Chase is sterile" on my GH Bingo card. 

Elizabeth and Lucky make a great team.  JJ's acting can be so funny when Lucky has an agenda. 

GF/Laura looks beautiful - hair, makeup and suit.

It's a good thing his wife had a secret baby when she was a teenager. From what I understand, children and parents are interchangeable, so Gio is already legally Chase's son.

Like I always say re: Anna's WSB career, it's the same principle here. Brennan is a damn arms dealer and international kingpin (yes, he was the co-head of Pikeman, the show tries to pretend he wasn't but as far as I recall he truly was and merely covered his tracks to pretend he was undercover!) who has killed countless people due to not only his ill-gotten gains and before that his long career in intelligence with the WSB. Yet for some reason he is consistently sweaty and sprung for upstate soccer mom yung grandma Carly, who is the epitome of that Amy Poehler Mean Girls character: "You girls keep me young!"

Brennan is embarrassing to me period and a waste of time, but they are clearly only keeping him til they find something better for Carly after the umpteenth attempt at Jarly with Steve and Laura flopped last spring. This is the first and only time I've considered just recasting Jax (not with this dude!) and bringing him on as a partner for Lois or something. To have a real power player and give Jax a defined story role again for the first time in oh, idk, 25 years? If we're being 100 he's barely had one since except for Jax's years with Carly, and she lost a good thing in him.

I'd be all for this except Carly would inevitably meddle in any relationship that Jax has that isn't with her. I'm tired of her juvenile actions toward men. At least Brennan keeps her occupied enough to ignore Sonny and Noted Bigot Natalia.

They should be out front for the show the way Sonny, Carly and Jason still somehow are at 50-60. It's easy to make this all about PI/caper stuff for them like Mac, Luke, etc. used to do, or Sonny with them in his youthful prime during the Labine era - you look back at that stuff now and so much was interconnected for a lot of key characters. LNL2 solving mysteries should not be B-story, and Jonathan Jackson should certainly not be in B-story.

And I say again, it is also time for vengeful widow-in-waiting Willow to prove to Chase his dick still works just to screw with the Qs. It is time for her to go full Susan Moore.
