  1. Maybe Jamal’s bisexual. Or maybe Skye Summers identifies as a man and Jamal can sense that, who knows. I bet Carol slept with Lucious while Cookie was in prison.
  2. Angela (paraphrased): Nathan can absorbed powers, just like his great-grandfather and great-uncle. Me: You know who else could absorbed powers? Sylar. I wonder if Matt and Mohinder hung out while they were both working for Renautas. Then, they would call Molly and all three of them would get lunch and talk about when they all lived together. Maybe Matt will bring Matt Jr. along, and Molly would be all protective big sister and Mohinder will need his help when his computer breaks down. Mohinder would talk science stuff with them, to the confusion of both Matts and the understanding of Molly. If Nathan Nakamura/ Tommy Clark was raised in Odessa, did the Clarks/Nakamuras run the Bennets during that time? Did Hiro take Nathan to the grocery store and see Sandra with Claire and Lyle picking up waffle mix? Would he be obviously conspicuous while trying not to comment on the irony of Claire saying that Baby Nathan is cute? Finally, if Quentin already found Phoebe, does that mean he never approached Micah, and Micah never got captured? Is Hero_Truther still free, exposing everything?
  3. Dorian's portrait looked as though he had spent years being tortured by Ramsay Bolton. Poor Angelique. This is the second prominent prostitute that has been killed on the series (although Brona was resurrected). The next time a sex worker appears on this show as a recurring character, I'm going to be nervous. Speaking of Brona, I loved how the her Irish accent came out the angrier she became. That was brilliant. I also like how Sembene put the cover over a sleeping Victor. Penny Dreadful is great with little details like that. It's not all plot, plot, plot; the writers take the time to develop their characters and their relationships. Although both the plot and characters are well-developed in Penny Dreadful, I love how character-driven, rather than plot-driven, the show is.
  4. It might be a bit of a drastic change in the show, but, assuming Ramsay marries and rapes Sansa (it would be OOC if he didn't), could D&D go with a pregnancy storyline if it mirrors something that will happen in the books?
  5. The Royals storyline makes me realize how much I miss Sebastian. He was loyal to the very end and had a sort of innocence to him. Actually, Sebastian was the only thing I liked about the Royals storyline; it went all downhill after his death. What if Juliette told Nick that she's considering remaining a hexenbiest? This way, if Nick says that he would stick by her, then they can work on their relationship. If not, then they can end it. Now, she's not even giving him the time to adjust. It was nice hearing from Trubel again, which seems to be hinting at her return. I hope we get to see Josh again as well; I love his character. Finally, according to the record of Bella's mom's rape, Grimm currently takes place in 2013 (24 years after 1989). I have a feeling that there's going to be a 2-year time skip in the future.
  6. The great thing about the Finn Hudson auditorium is that, back in "The Quarterback", Puck mentioned how the kids in McKinley would make out under the Finn tree, and not know who he was. More kids will know about him now since the auditorium is named after him. Just thinking about all the things Finn did in there, and now it's named after him. After seeing that Rachel was pregnant, I was hoping that she was pregnant with her own child for all parties involved, but Que Sera, Sera. I loved the last scene with everyone in it. I wish that Melissa Benoist could have made it so every single glee clubber would have been there, but congrats to her for moving on to bigger, better things. Also, I love Karofsky, but he seemed like the odd man out since he was never in New Directions. Finally, was Chord Overstreet unavailable during the Tony's scene? He is just shown running past the TV at Will's house, his face obscured, and never shows up again in the scene. I thought that Glee season 6 was going to be as awful as Gossip Girl season 6, but overall it was okay, and I like the finale. Goodbye Glee; it's been one hell of a ride.
  7. They could Fake Shemp (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/FakeShemp) Finn in 2009. It's the same thing they did with Emma in "What the World Needs Now".
  8. I think it'll be like the Star Wars Expanded Universe and the new Star Wars movies, where as long as the last 2-3 novels aren't out, the show's canon will be considered the canon of ASOIAF where it doesn't contradict the canon of the 5 published books. Once those books come out, however, then they would be the canon of the series.
  9. I thought Beiste's story was more compelling before: even though she didn't look like a typical female, even though she didn't have typical female interests, she was no less a woman than any other woman, and should be treated as such. By making him transgender, it implies that women who look less feminine and aren't interested in female activities are less female than their counterparts. I don't have a problem with transgender storylines (I loved Unique's); I have a problem with Beiste being transgender. IMHO, it seems like a disservice to the character and, ironically, an erasure of an interesting story about gender identity when your actions conflict with societal ideals about gender roles. The one thing I will give the writers credit for is acknowledging that Beiste is still attracted to men in spite of identifying as male. It rightfully shows that gender identity and sexual orientation have nothing to do with each other, and remaining as a woman because it fits with societal expectations won't work because it doesn't match how you feel. If this was anyone else other than Beiste (who already had an interesting gender identity story going on), it would be interesting to watch. I also have a feeling that after Beiste's transition is complete, they are going to pair him with Karofsky. The Becky character has the same problem the Brittany character usually has (though not in this episode mostly). The writers preach that they should be treated like everyone else, yet they are allowed to say hurtful things and/ or react violently, and neither the other characters nor the audiences are supposed to how them accountable because she has Down syndrome/ she's too naïve to understand what she's doing. They can't have it both ways. There's no way anybody would associate with someone who called them a slut or a whore unprovoked, let along help them. There's no way a person would just laugh off their partner's violent tendencies, unless they're just as psychotic as their partner is. Also, as someone mentioned before, Sue shouldn't have needed a PSA about people with Down syndrome having normal romantic lives. I hate Santana's rants, but at least this one had a source. Kurt didn't have to voice his objections right then and there, and it nearly killed the moment. Santana shouldn't have insulted Kurt's looks or attacked things that he was insecure about; as awful as that is, it's Santana's go-to method for handling anything. I am still haunted by her attack on Finn in season 3, but that one was completely unprovoked. This one was somewhat provoked, so, progress? I liked Jane and Mason's duet, and I totally ship them now. I think their story is going to the opposite of Kurt and Mercedes from season 1: rather than the girl crushing on the boy and finding out he's gay, the girl is going to try to avoid crushing on a gay guy, only to discover that he's straight and likes her as well. Spencer hiding in the laundry was funny, as what Madison miming to Mason to straighten his shoulders, and his doing a show choir smile in return. Finally, currently New Directions has 4 of the requisite 12 members. More than likely, Spencer and Kitty are joining, pushing it up to 6. I have a feeling, unless the actors are busy, that they are going to bring back the old newbies to fill the ranks. So Marley, Jake, Ryder, and Unique will push it up to 10. That means they will need two more people. Some possibilities: Sugar Joe Dottie Lauren Brett Neck Brace Randomly created extras specifically to fill the ranks
  10. Zachary Levi joins Heroes Reborn http://www.eonline.com/news/615582/zachary-levi-joins-heroes-reborn-nbc-miniseries
  11. I wish that they would set McKinley on fire and the characters would roast marshmallows on it. If the last shot was the Original 5, Will, and the acknowledgement of Finn somewhere, I would be ecstatic. Rachel running into Jesse's arms would be a close second. It would be cool to have flashback episodes back when Will was in the Glee Club. Then we would see Will, Terri, April, Bryan Ryan, Sue, and Principal Figgins back in their younger days. Finally, I would have liked to have seen Artie make student films starring his friends, and all the troubles that come from juggling their personalities with typical filming disasters.
  12. I must applaud Sam for managing to become somehow romantically involved with every original New Direction girl. Hell, even Puck can't brag about that. The writers should have focus more on the Newbies 1.0 in that regard: give Sugar, Marley, Kitty, and Unique a chance at that stud! Too bad the Newbies 2.0 are too young at this point. In retrospect, things might have been less complicated if Sam was gay like he was originally planned. Maybe Kevin McHale is still a regular because Artie, if I am correct, has been in more episodes than any other character. Until "Opening Night", Artie was the only character to appear in every episode. Predicting Glee writers, a happy ending would be Karofsky getting together with the gay jock in the future.
  13. Oooh, this is a fun thread! My wishes If they were going to graduate students, they should have made the students different ages, and graduated and introduced students each year. From the originals: Senior- Matt: This way, Matt could just have graduated rather than transferring to a different school. Juniors- Mike, Tina, Quinn, and Puck: All of these characters have about a season worth of material, and can prepare for their graduation for their next season Sophomores- Mercedes, Finn, Brittany, Santana: Two main characters and two main secondary characters. Mercedes has too little story, in my opinion, to make her a freshman, and Brittany wore out her welcome to keep her a freshman. Although Santana may be the best "bitchy" character, there's too many of them at McKinley. Finally, Finn imho, had an interesting story as an adult, so I would keep him a sophomore. Freshman- Rachel, Kurt, Artie: Rachel is the main character of the show, and Kurt is a big story magnet as well. If RIB wouldn't have made them sophomores so soon, they could have continued with the choir room at least a year longer without doing the split narrative. I added Artie because he has a well-developed story in the background with regards to his directing. Then, they can graduate and add Glee club members over the series Season 2: Lose Matt, add Sam and Jake (given Puck the opportunity to mentor him without halfway across the country to do so) Season 3: Lose Puck, Quinn, Mike, and Tina, add Blaine (introduced in Season 2 at Dalton and coming to McKinley because his family moved/ can't afford Dalton, not because of Kurt), Joe, Kitty (introduced in Season 2 as a fan girl of Quinn), and maybe Rory Season 4: Lose Finn, Santana, Mercedes, Brittany, and maybe Rory, add Marley, Ryder, Unique, and Sugar Season 5 (which would not be an extended year): Lose Rachel, Kurt, and Artie, add any of the newbies 2.0 that they want Other wishes That they wouldn't have imploded Kurtcedes That they wouldn't have imploded Quinncedes That they would have explored the Kurt/Quinn friendship they hinted at at the end of Season 1 That they would have explored the Santofsky relationship more That they would have developed more unlikely friendships, like Puck/Tina or Kurt/Artie That everyone didn't date a person in Glee Club (only one I can think of is Mercedes/Shane) That they did more with the Glee Club besides competitions (Sing-a-grams, concerts, etc... They did some, but they could have done more) That they did something, anything to make the competitions non-interchangeable That they kept Sam gay (only because he doesn't really have a story line when he's straight) Less tribute episodes Less superfluous guest stars That the New Directions loss was upheld in Season 4 rather than overturned That Marley's bulimia was the result of her not wanting to be fat like her mother, not Kitty giving it to her That Ryder was genuinely attracted to Unique, but was afraid to act on it, rather than being catfished More struggles in New York (divas a school, auditions, wacky directors and directions, etc...) Artie roping his friends into acting in his student films and recording everyday life in New York Rachel and Kurt not being chained to the "loves of their lives" and being able to honestly date other people (Finn had to literally die for this result) That Finn would have decided to go into teaching at the end of Season 3, discovering that he likes leading the other generations and that going to the army was just chasing his father's shadow (not because his father became a drug addict) That Glee was character-driven, and didn't throw away characterization for the sake of plot Finally, if they wanted Rachel to lead a Glee club, they could have done this- after Finn's death, Rachel is depressed, so she decides to dedicate herself to achieving Finn's dream of leading the Glee Club as co-director with Will. Everybody tells her to go to New York, that Finn wouldn't want her to give up her dreams to pursue his. Rachel finally accepts in, and after New Directions perform at Sectionals, she gives a tearful goodbye to all and goes to New York.
  14. I have a feeling that Trubel and Josh are going to meet up with Kelly, Diana, and Elizabeth. Wouldn't that be a badass them. The ladies can kick butt while Josh babysits/ is protected by the baby (if he doesn't become a Grimm himself).
  15. Trying to figure out who the bomber's actor was was driving me crazy until I realized he was Sam from Smash. I also thought that I saw the actor who played Harvey Dent before, so I looked him up and found out he was West from Heroes. Joy.
  16. Did anyone notice how there were two different types of talking heads in this episode? There were the ones with lighting (the regular ones), and the ones without. All of Aaron's talking heads, for example, were the normal ones (without his hat), but the last one was the other type (with his hat). It was distracting.
  17. This is why is why it is hard to sympathize with Juliette in this instance. Nick was raped and it seems as though Juliette blames him for that happening because he couldn't tell the difference between her and Adalind in disguise. It's akin to a young girl being raped because she trusted a stranger, losing her virginity, and calling her a whore because of it. There is no way that Nick would have slept with Adalind willing, yet he is being condemned as though he did. On top of losing his powers due to the act and worrying about Renard and Trubel, Juliette's undeservingly blaming the victim is something he doesn't need. Juliette seems to be coming from a place of "Your abilities are destroying the peace of our home" as opposed to "These wesen will not come into my house and hurt the people I love." She may feel the latter, but the former is coming across more. Now, the former is valid, but it puts the blame on the wrong party. If a normal gang member shot up Nick's house because the latter was investigating the former, would Juliette blame Nick because of his job? I love how Hank was telling Wu that there are people with monsters inside of them, and Wu was like "No, I'm not talking about some metaphorical bullshit like Tony Stark's "Demon in a Bottle", I'm talking about real monsters. The Wolf Man, Dracula, the whole shebang." Although Hank didn't get a chance to tell him, Wu will find out soon enough. He's seen the book, and Nick specifically told Wu that the book was his, so Wu's not going to just let that go. If Wu becomes part of the gang, I hope he brings his snark to all of this. I really liked this episode, but I thought that just following the fallout from the shooting would have been enough. They really didn't need to introduce the wesen of next week in this episode. Finally, I'm interested in Agent Chavez. We've learned throughout the series that most Wesen fear the Grimms because they are their natural predators. The wesen we see now are either evil or outliers like Monroe, Rosalee, and Bud. Hopefully, Agent Chavez will be a sympathetic wesen who, thanks to history, is afraid and mistrustful of Grimms. This would avoid the false dichotomy of good wesen being friends with the Grimms, and ones that are not friends are evil.
  18. What if when Tyrion and Dany meet, he gives her a similar, the same speech that he gives fAegon in the books?
  19. What if the show runners change the Fake Arya story around somehow? Rather than sending Jeyne Poole as Arya to appease the Boltons and strengthen their claim, what if the Boltons have Myranda or whomever they have pretend to be Arya themselves? This way, the Northern folk can still rally around Stannis to save "Arya", plus it may convince her living brothers to come rescue her, where the Boltons can slaughter them. Theon can either save the girl if she is an unknown victim, or warn the Starks and their loyalists that its a trap.
  20. Did Hell's Kitchen get a new narrator? It sounded so weird to hear him talk.
  21. The Legend of Korra Book 4 is premiering October 3rd. http://www.nick.com/videos/clip/digital-short-legend-of-korra-uploader-special-announcement.html?xid=korranation On one hand, I'm excited for more Korra. On the other hand, it's going to be over much more quickly.
  22. I kept thinking throughout this episode how much better this episode would have been if it was an 11/Amy episode instead. 11's denial of Robin Hood would have come across as a bit OTT, which would have made it funny, which I think they were going for. Him getting in a pissing contest with Hood to see who was superior, especially when frustrated, would be in character. Amy being giddy about Robin Hood and being exasperated about the Doctor's/Robin's pissing contest would also be in character. Now, we only had three episodes with 12, but arguing about plans seemed out of character with what's been established so far. Clara- I honestly can't think of a defining trait of hers, but childlike wonder isn't one of them. I knew that the woman from the village was Marian because Once Upon A Time did a similar reveal last season.
  23. It seems as though the top 3 designers didn't go back to Mood, but the bottom 3 did. So there's that.
  24. I was thinking the exact same thing! I saw how people were pointing out how Jinora is a better airbender than Kai, yet was standing on the sidelines while he did all the work. Why were they all doing that? We as the audience have seen Tenzin's children fight the adult Equalists, Jinora help Korra defeat Unavaatu, Opal jump between the daughters of one of the most powerful Earthbenders in the series with fledging powers, and all of the recruits successfully defeating poachers. Sure, attacking P'li head-on might have been dangerous, but why couldn't a group use their airbending to deflect their attacks? It was working when Kai was doing it. Even if they're scared, it's either the risk or leave themselves at the mercy of the Red Lotus. It all feels like a contrived way to make it so that Korra has to save them.
  25. The only secret that I could see being significant enough for both Ahsha to be humiliated and for German to kill Olivia for her is if she was actually born a man.
