“I’ll tell you tomorrow.” Argh! I hate that trope!

Yeah, they do. We did a tour of the WB grounds and there are streets and streets full of houses ready for use. Funny thing, many are back to back so you could enter a house from one show and exit through another show’s house. They are mostly empty but rooms can be configured as needed.

I started warning people over the weekend that musk had gained access to all our sensitive information. I was met with a complaint that I shouldn’t talk about politics. Sigh. I also emailed my members of Congress. They don’t care.

At least we don’t have to worry about missing anything when we go to the bathroom. 😄

I’ve seen a couple new Super Bowl ads that are hilarious. Watch out for Eugene Levy for Little Caesar’s and David Beckham for Stella Artois. Very funny!

Every Tristan/Carmody interaction had me laughing. Was anyone else waiting for the cow to have projectile diarrhea? Don’t stand behind the cow, James! I love how Siegfried and Mrs Hall sit down for a nightcap in front of the fireplace after they put the kids to bed.

It’s no surprise that the whole tariff brouhaha was a bullying ploy for trump to puff himself up. I hope Canada continues to stand up to him so he has to back down. In any case I bought a new car last Nov (right after the election) and a new laptop. My degree is in economics so I knew what an idiotic move a tariff would be.

Is this how the world of Silo began? Or Fallout? I’m watching too many post apocalyptic shows. (Wonder why? Heh.) Dr Gabby was standing way too close to Xavier while she was speaking. It creeped me out. I guess she accomplished her goal of seducing him so she could pass along the message. Why does Xav trust her so implicitly?

Dad joke.

Yeah. That was my thought. Sterling Brown is such a great actor. In that last convo when he was talking about forgiveness his chin was quivering with the emotion. I guess his wife didn’t make it into the city?

Ugh. Sarah and Alyssa talking about the invitation to podcasters and influencers in the WH press room. These people are not journalists! And people who rely on such to get their news are part of the problem! Today I’m totally Team Sunny with wanting unbiased reporting for news. And thanks, Sunny, for knocking down that report about Covid. The fact it is “low confidence” is the footnote that is not being reported.

Yes, the biggest transport plane that the army has, because trump is all about the symbolism. Gretchen Whitmer has gotten mushy in her stance because she’s already running for president. (Which I posted before Alyssa asked.) Alan Cumming is delightful.

Yeah, I have a feeling Tristan will have a breakdown soon. He’s always been glib but he’s even more so now, as if to cover up something painful. I don’t recall if his name has always been in the opening credits this season but I squeed when I noticed his name this epi.

Alyssa seems giddy about the deportations. I wish someone would be more transparent about exactly who is being seized. As far as we know it’s only Latinos being rounded up. Sure, some have criminal records but I’m guessing more don’t than do.
-
Yeah, I don’t want to hear him plead to just all get along.

A lot of people dislike this book but I thought it was silly fun. It’s lighter than Ove and certainly Beartown. The further into it you read the less annoying the characters become. It all makes sense in the end.

I heard one of the J6 “patriots” has already been arrested for waving a gun around in FL. It’s only a matter of time before the idiots do something stupid again.

Do you mean Alyssa is a DEI hire? 😄 I don’t think Biden would have won. In fact I think Kamala lost largely because she didn’t differentiate herself enough from Joe. No way should the View include a male panelist.

Hopefully this was just a fake out to make viewers talk, but next season will be dismissed pretty quickly. Of course Faith did not live.

The doll used for Jimmie is so fake it takes me out of the story. It looks pretty ridiculous. Loved the convo between Siegfried and Audrey in the car. “That is just rude.” They need to be together before the show ends, even if it isn’t true to the book or real life. They are just too cute a couple. I caught vibes between Jenny and Doris too. Thanks to all who have posted about food rationing and other wartime experiences on the home front. Very interesting! I have photos displayed of my grands on the day of their birth, all wearing hats! It’s a theme- babies in hats.

I enjoyed this book but I really had a problem with the ending. I just reread To Kill a Mockingbird for book club. Despite some cringy moments it is still a marvelous book.

As usual Alyssa is full of shit. 47% of R voters are excited about trump’s policies? Yeah? How many of them are already wondering when he’s going to do something about the cost of food?

That’s why, though unfortunate, I’m not discouraged about trump avoiding prosecution. He surely will do enough criminal activity while in office to be prosecuted by the next justice dept. As long as we get someone a little less timid than Merrick Garland. Of course it will depend on SCOTUS’s definition of “official conduct.” I love Michelle Yeoh.

I wonder how many of these “patriots” will be back in jail before the year is out.

Jamie would be more likely to beat up Frank as he did John for sleeping with his wife. Geez, get over it, man!
