  1. I love Whoopi’s sweater but see she dug up that old gray scarf again. I may have to check out Valerie’s cool book. That all looked yummy.
  2. Sheesh, it never occurred to me that Mon's show was pretaped. Duh!
  3. @lucindabelleThat should probably be spoiler tagged.
  4. Maybe they tape some guest segments before the show is live? We used to have posters who attended shows, too bad they aren’t around to give us the inside info.
  5. I couldn’t name any of them!
  6. As much as I appreciated the acting Fred (actor) did, I think lately there has been way too much Violet and Fred and not enough midwifing. I guess the writers are running out of ideas? I can't be angry at Gillian, what with all those post partem hormones. Anxiety, frustration, fear, and disappointment are natural. Yes, the cast is too large this season. And with more time spent with Violet than the new students, I know nothing about any of them.
  7. Yeah, every time a judge told a dancer to come back next season I said out loud “good luck with that!”
  8. I loved, loved this! Really captured the charm and spirit of the book.
  9. I read the book but was still confused. They didn't introduce the characters very well and I had to keep asking myself, who is that again? I imagine it might turn off some viewers if they can't relate to any of the characters.
  10. I loved Wolf Hall. Did you know they are filming the third book?
  11. You and me both. I love historical drama and can handwave some um, dramatic misinformation, but the terrible casting of a small, skinny, dark actor as the strong, athletic, tall, and yes, red headed Henry was too far fetched.
  12. There’s one where they talk about burger squared or something and for the life of me I can’t figure out what she says then he says at the end. She mumbled and he shouts.
  13. I’m being shallow today: Wow, Lara Trump looks terrible with all the plumping and Botox. I love Sarah’s sweater but Whoopi looks like she just came from painting her living room.
  14. I believe a bald snark involves switching and then returning to the original task? So the twins’ going from the first to second to first to second would be the elusive double bald snark?
  15. Omigosh, it was painful watching the twins dither and triple bald snark the detour. This was only the second leg (technically) and they were already unable to think straight. Also hard to watch Mom take her sweet time picking beans while Danny knows the last two teams are catching up. Also hard to watch Sean not want to walk down a hill and practically quit the game over it. Really? The bored/sleeping dog was hilarious.
  16. I wonder if Jem's tribe will continue to suspect one of the guys has the idol. Usually I scream at players to not tell anyone they've found it, but it might have saved Jem if she had told Maria. That logo task was impossible. It makes sense to me to keep the live chat separate so we don't have to scan pages of banter before getting to post show analysis. I wish we'd do the same for TAR.
  17. NBC and MSNBC have numerous Republicans on the payroll… including our Nicolle Wallace, so rescinding RRM’s contract has nothing to do with party. I thought the Bible thing was a joke when I heard about it yesterday.
  18. I was so happy to see Fuji was alive. I thought she had been mortally wounded in the earthquake. Ochiba is quite the politician and mama bear. It took her all of 2 minutes to manipulate the regents to her will. The brothel scene was beautifully shot, with Kiku (?) disappearing behind Mariko, allowing Mariko to speak from her heart. This episode was certainly Ladies' Night!
  19. Or waited until a commercial break.
  20. Someone was using his phone to record the show.
  21. Whoopi is in a mood today. Crabbier than usual.
  22. Sigh. If only.
  23. How did the discussion of Kate’s cancer become all about Whoopi?
  24. Especially medical issues. I don’t care if the royals are public figures, supported by taxes, or the beneficiaries of colonialism; they deserve privacy when it comes to their health issues.
