I kind of love Victor and Jocelyn. They're so cute! I wondered that, too. -

Oh, yeah, they're going to rock this one. Oh, Scoop seems a little like live Pac-man with pomelos instead of dots. -

She did, and that would have been an excellent episode title. -

So, did the guys not read the clue properly, or did they not communicate well with their taxi driver? And are these extended episodes because of extra commercials, or is there extra actual content? -

Seems easy enough, just a little tricksy. Beautiful flowers, though! -
I initially said Nobel for FJ, then switched to Carnegie at the last second. Either way, I was wrong! I only got two TS -- the radiolarian bodies, and lungs.

Pet Peeves: Aka Things That Make You Go "Gah!"
Browncoat replied to Betweenyouandme's topic in Everything Else
I don't do conventional cruises, but I do like expedition cruises. Small ships, lots of off-ship activities, and off-the-beaten-path destinations. My peeve is that I haven't won the Powerball lottery so I can't afford to travel for a while. Oh, and carried over from chat, I'm a little peeved about receiving a summons for jury duty. Re: the RSVP situation -- usually when people don't RSVP, it's because they've forgotten or just can't be bothered (aka inconsiderate). -
My luck has run out. I got my first summons for jury duty today.

When the clue said “tie,” I was still fixated on Lawrence’s tie that I misunderstood the clue. I tried my best to make “ascot” work.
-
I got FJ, but it was somewhat of a guess. I was a little surprised to see that I was correct. I also got the TS of appliqué, Penelope, bonobo, and life hack. Lawrence's suit combination annoyed me. Blue suit, beige vest, orange tie, green pocket square, white boutonniere -- too much. Something in that combo needed to match! Replace the beige vest with something a little more colorful (a plaid, perhaps?) that would connect the tie with the suit, and perhaps match the pocket square with the tie...

Why Grammar Matters: A Place To Discuss Matters Of Grammar
Browncoat replied to candall's topic in Everything Else
Same in my part of VA. And in some places it's just "the four-lane" because there's only one four-lane highway. (I would be hard-pressed to tell you the number of that road!) -
I didn't get FJ, either -- I said, "The president after Lincoln, and another one." Clearly I need to brush up on the order of the presidents! I did get the TS of "As You Like It", "Hamlet", Ghost Dance, flea, Costner, Will Geer, and eye. Ken's a good sport! It's great he did the pyramid!

A karaoke machine was one of the options for my 25th year. Another option was a hibachi grill.

Aaawwww! Their little tongues in their little nosies! So cute!

Oh, right! I, even more shockingly, got the asterisk for Friday.
