A photo of Prince Charles? In a Polo category? Really? Granted, it was from his younger days, but still. It was unmistakably him. I didn't do very well with the TS today, though. I only got A Confederacy Of Dunces and green goddess. I blame it on all the contestants not starting at the tops of categories. FJ was beyond me. I could have had all the time in the world and not come up with the correct response.

Chris and Amanda from Season 4! Thanks! I couldn't remember details for VenicesBitch. Did it seem to anyone else that the mask judge was awfully lenient? Or perhaps it was more about the technique than the finished product? Most of what she was shown was definitely NOT " bellissima!" And because it can't be said too many times, shut up, Brooke. Especially when your partner is carrying your damn bag while you just stroll along and whine whine whine.
-
Shut up, Brooke. And while we're at it, shut up, Michael. And Liz, too, for that matter. I really don't know how Brooke manages in real life. I don't like anyone much except Tara and Joey. Venice is always a nice destination. The mask challenge reminded me of the mask challenge in Venice way back in the early years. They didn't have to paint, but they had to find a mask that matched a picture they had.

That was amazing! Thanks for posting the link, @Silver Raven!

I really hope j-archive has this game up tomorrow! I'm sad I missed a game where mugwumps was an answer. I did look up FJ, and all I can say is duh -- too easy, even if you don't know Spanish.

Thanks, @DrScottie!

What was the secret Galapagos word of the day?
-
Grrrrr! My local network has chosen to show the debate between the Democratic Gubernatorial candidates instead of Jeopardy! There is no indication that J! will be aired an another time, either. Stupid politics ruins everything.

Not a big fan of the new champ. I was hoping Liz would stick around longer too. I got the TS of frozen shoulder, Fair Isle and Isak Dinesen, and like @mojoween, could hear the music, but didn't come up with the title in time.

Kayak was the secret word of the day.

Oh, goody! I can't tell you why, but Alan bugged me to no end. I am not sorry to see him go. I am sad, though, that Talking Heads was a TS -- but I'm not sad to have that song stuck in my head! I even own the album/CD. I also got the missed DD of John Quincy Adams (surprised Alan missed it -- it seemed easy to me), Yakov Smirnov (thank you Night Court!), Emily Dickinson (it's always Emily Dickinson!), and Antiques Roadshow. But I had mental flatulence for FJ, and also came up with Hera. Pandora seems so obvious, too.

I thought she got that one right?

Rats! And Matt was so close, too. Oh well. I didn't have a clue for FJ -- I can barely name any member of SCOTUS, let alone a past Chief Justice. I did get Bill Moyers, blaze, Eohippus, and Epsom Downs. I guess reading all those horse-related books when I was younger was good for something after all.

Good luck, @ottoDbusdriver!

I liked your post so much @SherriAnt, that I had quote the whole thing. A continuation of the original story would have been a MUCH better idea than this random remake thing.
-
Good to know, @Crs97 -- I really liked the movie, but haven't read the book. I'll have to pick that up soon.
-
FJ was beyond me as well. But at least I knew Simon Legree (as opposed to Slavemaster Smith). I also got Blue Apron, bonnet and I Am The Cheese. I am beyond tired of Alan.

I can say with confidence from personal experience that there is no way that spider was still alive when Tim pulled it out. Of course, my experience was with an insect, not a spider, but it succumbed to asphyxiation by ear wax, and the bug did not come out in one piece. And yes, it was creepy as hell and still makes me shudder to think about it.

S10.E22: The Cognition Regeneration
Browncoat replied to TheOtherOne's topic in The Big Bang Theory [V]
It looked like it. I have a (bad) habit of watching the person instead of the dummy (like you're supposed to), and I could see her throat moving a bit. -
Oh. My. God. I am done with Brooke. Between the screeching "I can't!" at the rock climbing and the complete and utter bitchiness on the mat, I am ready for her to be gone. Which means she'll probably win the whole damn thing.
-
I can't believe I blanked on FJ today. Total face palm when the answer was revealed. Duh. I didn't get too many TS today, either -- just semi-detached, Augustus, and King Julian (and now I have that song stuck in my head. Thanks, Alex!). Was it just me, or did Troy seem a little pissed about the wall (and who pays for it) question?

Drat. I wanted the woman to win. I just couldn't with Samm and his two Ms -- no, buddy, you aren't really stuck with that spelling. You could have changed it at any time during your life. College is a great time to do that. I was sad that no one knew The Kinks, and surprised no one got Secret. But I flubbed FJ, too, so there you have it.

I think the late 70s-early 80s happened to Margaret. There were a lot of not-good looks at about that time. :)

Fasten Your Seatbelts...- The Movie Quote Game

Never mind -- @proserpina65 beat me to it! -
If ever I go on Jeopardy, I will need to brush up on my Presidential history. I had no clue for FJ. I did get paper clip and coffee, though. Alan lost me when he didn't pick from the top. Then I noticed that he couldn't stand still. I really wanted middle woman to win.
