Probably just as well that Chris and Mary were eliminated last episode. Walla Walla mom is really going to struggle, I think. And so would I! My knees would never forgive me after all those steps.

I got another FJ! I reasoned it out exactly the way Ken explained. Only two TS, though -- Furby and Seine. It does not hurt my feelings that Alex Jacob didn't win.

Catching up from Tuesday's game -- I actually got FJ! Thank you, almost minor in Chemistry, I guess? I also got the TS of clean up man and edgy. I remembered Dave's and Arthur's names, but neither looked remotely familiar. And I have absolutely no recollection of Mckenzie whatsoever.

I have put in a request for James at my library -- they haven't even ordered it yet! But that will probably put me very high on the reserve list.

Finally got to see this last night, and it was fine. I think my primary complaint (other than the assholes in the theater trying to record the movie on their phones -- and yes, I complained to the theater people, who shut it right down) is that the buildup was sooooooo long. And then it felt like five minutes of very predictable action at the end. I thought it was hilarious that Peck is mayor, and that someone in the crowd called him dickless. Actually, I loved all the Easter eggs and callbacks to the original, although I'm getting a little tired of the tiny Stay-Pufts.

I just heard about that book and I really want to read it! It's been forever since I read Huckleberry Finn -- should I re-read that first?

I, too, was swayed by the Terro discussion and bought some for my ants! My problem was trying to figure out the best place for it. I have no idea where the ants are coming from. I'd prefer to put the Terro closest to where the ants are entering, so if they're going to flock to it, they won't be all over the place.

As usual, I did not get FJ tonight. Obvious once Ken told me what it was, but I'm not sure I would have ever thought of it. I did at least get the TS of Mamma Mia, sunfish, and Glacier Bay.

My work is collecting for a food drive, so there are boxes all over the place -- specifically for peanut butter. Every time I pass one, I think, "The peanut butter box is here! The peanut butter box is here!"

The eclipse will be about 90% here. I had hoped to be able to go where it's 100%, but much like the last one (which was also quite close), life has interfered. I'll definitely get glasses, though, and keep my fingers crossed for a sunny day!

Perhaps if he had help, he could be open more than four days a week?

I'm mostly enjoying the season so far. I mean, we're only two episodes in! It's always chaotic for the first few legs -- so many people! I lose track of who's who, and how many there are. I like seeing people try to self-navigate and get lost, but I'm not a fan of watching people nearly succumb to heat stroke. They crack me up, too. And you never know, they might Dandrew themselves to the final three.

2/5 this week! I'm feeling so much smarter than I have in the past several weeks of zeroes and ones!
