I live in the back of beyond. Parking is never a problem. I use the blue box if I'm in a time crunch -- I can do a drive-by for that.

Wow. This game seemed so slow relative to the ones we've been watching! So many TS, and clues left on the board! I did get FJ, because I am Pixar's bitch, and have seen all of their movies at least once. Most I've seen multiple times, including this one. And of the multitudes of TS, I got Ponderosa pine, Ft. McHenry, Birnam Wood, Richmond, Langley, newspaper, Edgar Rice Burroughs, Augusta, and whistle pig.

If I have to mail a check, I will take it to the post office -- either to one of the big blue boxes outside or inside the building if it's really important.

That's how I got it! And it was the only TS I got. I should have gotten Grainger -- there's a store just down the road from where I work, and I order from them at least two or three times a year. I'm in Virginia. Did not get FJ though. Maybe tonight will be better! Congrats, Victoria! (even though I was rooting for Amy.)

Somehow I managed to pull the correct response for FJ out of my hat at the last second. It was a complete guess, but it counts! The only TS I got was Miss Congeniality. I love that movie.

Awesome photos, y'all! Thanks for sharing! Our skies never quite cleared up, but the clouds thinned enough for about ten minutes so we could see a crescent sun through the haze of clouds. Some of the feed on nasa.gov was really remarkable. You could even see solar flares.

The clouds here thinned out a little so we could see it a little bit, but only for a couple of minutes. Even like that, and even at just 88% coverage, it's still pretty cool. But I'm loving NASA's coverage!

That's because he isn't Richard Chamberlain.

Incidentally, nasa.gov is livestreaming the eclipse from all along the path of the eclipse. Sadly, it's pretty cloudy here, and only supposed to be about 88%, so I might only get to see it via NASA's website!

I didn't get FJ tonight. I couldn't even come up with a reasonable guess. Oh well. And the only TS I got was pinafore. Excellent game by all three players, but yay, Amy!

Mary should just get right off her high horse about the drinking thing, considering how drunk she got in Germany. And that George was out in the backyard, drinking a beer.

I actually got FJ! Not an instaget, and I'm not sure how I landed there -- sacraments, Sacramento, I guess -- but I got there in plenty of time. The only TS I got was the Cape Fear River. Damn. I was really rooting for Sam! But what the hell was he doing to that poor buzzer?

Give it a week or two and try the other wreath again. If the birds are discouraged enough, they'll move on. I had a pair of Northern Cardinals start a nest in a tree just outside my bedroom window, but they gave up within a few days because I always look out that window first thing in the morning to see what the weather's doing.

Archive game for me for last night, although I did record it, and will probably watch later. I did not get FJ. Perhaps if they had referred to it as an effect rather than a force? Nah, I probably still wouldn't have gotten it. I did, however, get the TS of Gordon Lightfoot (even without the picture! If You Could Read My Mind got me there!), fountainhead, and defamation. Good for Andrew, but I will always root for Sam.

It will be very interesting to see what happens with Ricky and Cesar when they are no longer in a country where the primary language is Spanish.
