  1. Did this all happen in the summer of 2018?
  2. The lip smacking doesn't bother me as much as Haleigh's nail biting. I've never seen anything quite like it. She's a voracious biter while under stress. OMG! Wait till she sees herself. Hmmm... Probably what she'll need to stop the bad habit. I like Tyler. Just wish he hadn't aligned himself with Kaitlyn whose issue of constantly seeking attention from males is sick. Glad Sam finally explained her entire power to him. It's going to make a big difference moving forward. I was watching feeds fairly late last night and became interested in the conversation and body language among Kait, Brett, Tyler, Haileigh, and JC. They were in the HOH room on the bed. To me, it looked like the beginning of an eventful evening. Lots of massaging, positioning, and explicit talk. Feeds cut away and never returned to the room while I watched other scenarios. That said, I went to bed after an hour so I have no idea if or when the feeds centered on these 5 later on. It may have been a whole lot of nothing but I did feel like more of a voyeur than usual. lol I love Sam. She's a doll. However, she can be so darn boring. She's one of those people who is uncomfortable with natural pauses during a conversation. She is compelled to fill the void with a whole lot of nothing. If Rockstar, who I'm not particularly fond of, doesn't quickly adjust to what's about to happen she will never move forward within the game. She needs to make an attempt to become friendly with the other side of the house. Haileigh is already starting her game over again. It was more than apparent last night.
  3. BB must be pretaping something regarding the 4th of July. Just a guess but nothing else makes sense.
  4. I agree. This is beyond weird and almost comical. Shouldn't these young men, who are almost 30, have learned something about running the farm already (even if they weren't all that interested) as they were growing up...even thru simple dinner conversations and/or osmosis? Also, they live in the area so why move their families and lives to the DW? Just get in your car every morning and drive to the farm. They all cannot be this stupid. Only thing I can think of is...the tv show. IF Jer and/or Zach live on the premises, the "show" will be all the more interesting for the viewers. Their wives and children will be roaming around and there will be camera moments galore. Sometimes the answers are right in front of our faces! Yup.
  5. THIS ^^^ I was astounded (though I shouldn't have been) when I watched Jeremy try to convince his father that TWO YEARS from now would be the ideal time for him to move on from the farm. Really???? OMG! Exactly who does Jeremy think he is presenting his father with a timetable? He has to be the most manipulative young man I've seen in a long time. Did you see his face during this conversation? It spoke volumes. Selfish and entitled human being. I agree that all the Roloff children have been privy to what happens when Amy and/or Matt die....or want to move away from the farm. I'm praying all this uncertainty is all for storyline purposes.
  6. ...and when he does his entire tone and pattern of speech is completely different from the American dialect he uses when acting. So much so that I oftentimes strain to try to hear Philip and I rarely do. It throws me each and every time I listen to one of his interviews.
  7. I believe Philip was being a friend to Stan and not being passive aggressive at all. It was simply a warning and nothing more. I completely agree with you on all counts. Yup.
  8. I enjoyed the finale. I thought the garage scene was outstanding but cried my eyes out during their final telephone conversation with Henry. That scene was very meaningful to me. I put myself in their shoes and imagined how I'd feel in that situation. Heartbreaking! I also welled up when each of them noticed Paige had left the train and the consequences of her decision. So sad. I absolutely believe Stan's wife is a Russian spy and I think Stan does, too. Wish we could have seen that storyline play out in some way.
  9. Just an aside.... As a former cigarette smoker, I absolutely cannot stand the way Elizabeth (actually, Kerri Russell) smokes. It's so obvious she's a non smoker in real life that it has become laughable, for me. I'm not advocating her actually inhaling if she's against it. However, once it became apparent to the showrunners that Kerri cannot fake smoke, Elizabeth should have been given some other bad habit to use as a coping mechanism.
  10. I believe the designers come into the episode, after having been privy to the dimension of the room etc., with a design in mind. They've probably already purchased a lot, if not all, of the materials they'll need so they're a bit pigeon holed. Joanie, one of the new carpenters, was a finalist (came in second) on Season 6 of America's Next Top Model some years ago. I think they all look good. I'm not necessarily fond of Hildi but she looks incredible! Sure, Ty, Vern, and Doug appear older but...they are! Frank looks exactly the same. I hate to be shallow but I don't like Paige's hair style. Well, it's not the style that bothers me so much...it's the length. It does nothing for her pretty face. I totally forgot Alex McLeod was the original host of Trading Spaces. Now that I think about it, I DID like her. Thanks for the reminder.
  11. 1. I have no idea how Madison endured that entire birth process with no less than 8 people watching her at any one time. (When the folding chairs were requested, I about died!) Add to that a freakin' television CAMERA was involved for most of it. 2. Christine is LOVING where she and Kody stand, in their marriage, right now. She's been longing for this for years! When she kissed him, more than once, and told him how "cute" he was, as he left her house, my eyes rolled out of my head. Good for her, I guess. Their relationship has come a very long way in the last couple of years! 3. Victoria is one helluva real estate agent/salesperson. She had Meri on the hook and wasn't going to let her wiggle off no.matter.what. My guess is Meri is the only person who would ever be sincerely interested in purchasing that B&B and V knew it. Hell, Ol' Vicky used every sales trick in the book to land that sale. Got to give her credit. 4. Meri is so happy to be on speaking terms with Mariah that she wasn't even thinking straight on the evening Madison gave birth. In her mind, it was all about Mariah coming home for the weekend. THAT visit was her focus and she lost sight of what was right in front of her. I'm disappointed in Mariah, as well. She, too, handled the situation poorly. 5. I despise the name Axel. True, Madison didn't ask my opinion and it's absolutely none of my business but this is the forum for us to say what we feel so...I am. Axel Brush? I mean, really????
  12. As a viewer who knew nothing about this story until yesterday, I must say the editing room did a great job of cutting him out. I had NO IDEA. That said, now that I'm in the know...I'd love to rewatch the episode. Think I will.
  13. Ok. I'm lost. Please fill me in about Besh. Thanks. edited to add:. Nevermind. Just googled the info.
  14. I don't see this happening BUT I remember being blindsided at Gary's unexpected and tragic death on "thirty something" so many years ago. We were all concentrating on the health ( life and death cancer situation) of another main character when, out if nowhere, Gary died. So, I will keep an open mind, considering this set of writers!
  15. I agree with your post on all counts, especially what you said about Athena, but enjoyed this episode. First one that held my attention the entire hour.
  16. OMG! Then, what we're watching this season is ancient history. Ridiculous! NONE of this is relevant. Why the delay? Let me add: I don't follow any of these people on social media. Thus, my surprise.
  17. Somebody, please help me out. Did Mykelti and Tony get married in December of 2016 or 2017? Which begs the question... Did Maddie have her baby in May of 2017 or will she have it in May of 2018. IF she has already given birth. Is it a boy or a girl? Thanks.
  18. I've got to say, my husband would unplug it....and he's not at all a kitchen friendly kind of guy....because he'd know it has to be put away. I mean, who (man or woman) wouldn't unplug a crock pot before removing the leftovers, if any, and washing it out? Also, do people really use crock pots often enough to warrant keeping it out on their counter tops all the time ? I realize I'm beating a dead horse so I'll let it go.
  19. I agree about the teen actors (the tween actors, to a degree, too) and they're getting better with the mimicking each and every episode. Not overdone or in your face. Their subtly is resounding.
  20. I think she was so naïve that she had no idea HOW to limit the number of births. Probably, nobody took the time to teach her about ovulation etc.
  21. Hahaha... Good point! I was just trying to compare past Today Show hosts who were journalists first and not necessarily "TV personalities" ever. Times have changed. I get it. But, I do think the first big breaking LIVE news event, where these two hosts have to "perform", unscripted, will be interesting to watch.
  22. I don't believe either Hoda or Savannah are qualified to host TODAY. Neither are able to carry a hard hitting or breaking news type of interview, on their own, without preplanned and follow up questions....and I don't think they will be able to rely on one another in the moment (as Savannah regularly did with Matt). TODAY focused on Matt for the most serious of news events. This duo will be quite interesting to watch when something significant here or in the world needs to be covered, in real time. That said, TODAY has turned into a fluff type morning show anyway so I guess they'll do a good job discussing fashion, food, diets, children, tv/movies, etc. The old Dave Garroway type TODAY Show is in the past.
  23. Getting clearance (or whatever is called) to play most songs on tv/movies/etc costs a ton of money. My guess is the producers don't or can't pony up for the clearance.
  24. I didn't notice it so, for me, she was a pleasant surprise. I was hoping for a glimpse of Patrick Dempsey, too.
  25. Who the heck is ButtBiscuit? heh heh heh Are you all referring to Billy? If so, why? You like his butt or hate his butt?
