  1. On IMDb someone suggested that these two should be spun off into a show of their own..make it Disney's equivalent of The Big Bang Theory lol Love that idea! I would watch that.
  2. Was I the only one who hated this episode with a passion? Not only was the usual terrible writing/lack of substance in place, it seemed disjointed and whole sections didn't make sense. Ugh. The only scene I liked was Farkle and Smackle in the classroom.
  3. You're right. I re-watched this weekend and realized it was indeed Eleanor's cake punching and not Jason's presence that caused the sinkhole. I've got to say -- these are even funnier on repeated viewings!
  4. I re-watched the first half of episode one today, and Chidi had the exact same "Wait...what?" reaction when Eleanor told him it was a mistake she was there, she was not a lawyer who got innocent people off death row and performed humanitarian missions and she hates clowns, all in one breath.
  5. I hope that, since Janet is on the train now, she cannot be rebooted. I also hope that now Jason's wrongful presence is finally known, people stop blaming Eleanor for everything. I think it was him that caused the sinkhole, wasn't it? I had time to go to On Demand on my cable and watch half the first episode today. It's even more enjoyable after watching the rest of the season! I so agree that there are so many good lines that just zip by in this show! One of my favorites of the episode was Jason's "I'm not a failure! I'm just pre-successful." I cheered out loud for him!
  6. Gahhhh!!!! I renew my plea to ditch Margaret and NeNe and replace Brad with Tim Gunn. I wouldn't mind getting rid of Juliana as well, but at least she's more tolerable than the others. That mouth guard game was too much. I was so ticked off when they used one of the more interesting gowns of the night in that bit -- I would have liked to have heard some cogent discussion of Hailey Steinfeld's lavender gown. Please E! Fix this show!! More fashion commentary and less tackiness. More tasteful commentators with knowledge of design!!
  7. TAB cola was the huge diet drink throughout the 70's.
  8. This does seem like the worst season yet. I know absolutely none of these obnoxious people by sight. I do know the name "Duggar." I also laughed out loud when they hyped that they had bagged a Duggar for this season and then the Duggar in question comes in and announces she the clan's rebel cousin. Oy vey!
  9. Bwah! I caught the first part of that, but missed the second part (and thus the joke!). Glad you quoted this! I love the little nuances too, besides the big belly laughs. I think Eleanor showed a lot of growth in this episode, in that she's really letting down her guard and letting people in. Real Eleanor, Tahani, Chidi, and Jason and Janet have all become important to her. These people have all made her better in their own ways. (Yes, even Jason, who shows her how to have happy abandon.) I love how Bambadjan hugged her despite her protests and that she admitted it made her feel better. I laughed at how Jason and Janet only invited two guests to their wedding! His trying to smoosh cake in her face, and her not quite getting it was subtle brilliance! Eleanor and Tahani reminded me of how much of a spectator sport weddings can be. I'm betting Michael is going to figure out Jason's situation next week when Janet will likely impart the news that she's married Jason, and Michael wonders why Jason is no longer with his assigned soulmate Tahani. Wonder where everyone will live? And finally, Chidi's reaction to the wedding ("Wait, WHAT?") made my night.
  10. Wasn't it none other than Joan and Melissa Rivers? Count me vehemently in on the concept of having Tim Gunn host a show where vulgarity is not considered cool or mistaken for fashion. I love him. He can be very witty too. I agree that Margaret and Nene need to go, and they can chuck Guilliana too. Please please PLEASE get back to basics and cover jewelry, hair, makeup, and ALL the fashion! For the past two years I look forward to reviews of certain dresses, only to have them ignored or totally skimmed over in favor of another vagina joke. I also wish they would bring back the actual worst and best dressed nominees throughout the show, instead of just at the end. That way, the best dressed gals who weren't number 1 got sort of an honorable mention, and it was fun when one person's best dressed nominee was protested by the others who proclaimed it should be a worst dressed nominee. And finally, they only seem to cover the most famous people. Once in awhile one of the wives, girlfriends, or "B" list actresses actually has a dress that is more stunning than whatever the Fashion Police are all fawning over. I don't mean that they should do worst dress for the non-famous -- that would just be mean. Instead, bring back fun, fashion, and taste!
  11. Season two started in April, 2016, so I'm guessing that's when Season 3 premieres. The Hallmark Channel website just says "Spring 2017." There is a preview up on that channel for Season 3.
  12. Well, he's always been portrayed as kind of a jerk. When they first introduced him he tried to date both Erica and the friend. This episode made me cry -- more than once! I have it saved on the DVR for repeat viewings. Yes, I'm cheesy. I laughed hard at Naked Rob's role in their clinic being playing the drums in the lobby. Yep, THAT'll scare off the patients!
  13. Forgot to mention that I loved seeing each of the homes decorated for the holidays. Pennie and Leonard were putting away their decorations, but Mary's home was choc-a-block full of decorations, many looked homemade, or good old traditional family decorations she's put out every year for decades (my home is the same way). Howard and Bernadette had a menorah and a "Noel" sign and elegant golden trees. Plus their couch had a pillow with holiday looking trees and a single star. Their decorations were more modern and sparse enough to be realistic for a couple busy enough with a new baby.
  14. I wondered the same thing, or Figi's. Those are the only petit fours I've ever eaten. Honestly, it never even occurred to me that you can bake them yourself!!
  15. That didn't even occur to me, so thanks @anna0852! One little cute thing I've always enjoyed is that they put Penny in some new kind of headgear every Christmas episode. Don't know why that makes me smile, but it does. If they ever fix that elevator, I wonder what else building management will find stuffed in the shaft?
  16. I agree with you and all the other posters who commented about this. I noticed her costuming from the very start and liked it, being a bigger gal myself. Didn't even think about the sacrificial lamb red until the poster above mentioned it. Was heartbroken that Casey's dancing career seems to be over. (Or, perhaps there's a chance she was just recovering?) I also completely missed the fact that Reagan's back was broken until I saw her in the wheelchair at the end. I don't have anything new to add, other than to add my voice to the chorus of those begging for another season. One more thing -- I have always been quite taken with the opening credits. Beautiful.
  17. This! I often want to slap the judges. I agree with the posters on here who say the show needs new judges to shake things up. Don't get rid of Tim Gunn though. He's about the only reason I still watch. That and the hope of seeing something pretty and a bit fashion forward.
  18. I can't believe I didn't catch that before! I've seen every episode at least 4 times. I get the prize for "most unobservant" today apparently. Thanks for the info HelenBaby!
  19. So, a day or two after watching this episode I was at Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and something was niggling at my mind. Finally it dawned on me -- "Hey! That's uncle Marvin!!" Didn't realize Dan Fogler was in that movie too. It was hilarious watching him in two different genres in one week.
  20. I was glad that Bernadette and Howard called Raj out on his creepiness. I still don't understand why the writers dumped both of his girlfriends. They've let Raj a bit rudderless this season. Maybe they have something big planned for him later? Count me in with those happy that they didn't have the usual birthing tropes included. It sounds like I wasn't the only one happy to see the return of the sassy nurse. Was she in any other episodes besides the robotic arm one?
  21. I agree that this episode fell flat and it was a waste of Christopher Lloyd. The regular characters all seemed to regress terribly, which was not amusing. But I disagree that the show should be put out to pasture -- instead it should be these writers! I still love this show and hold out hope for improvement. There is plenty of character development still to be accomplished, and it's only lack of imagination that keeps the writers from making up new and funny scenarios for these characters. They need to resolve the stupid apartment switching and property division. That plotline has been clumsily handled. One of the interesting things about this show in the past year and, even a bit this season, was Sheldon's personal growth. But in the past two episodes he's back to being childish and selfish. Good writers should know that they could retain some of these elements of Sheldon's character and yet allow him to make strides in improving his faults.
  22. @SlackerInc, cool! I will have to check these out! Sorry I can't watch the clip right now, but I am at work...slacking. O'Hare must be so versatile! It's hard for me to picture him in a non-violent role after TrueBlood and American Horror story though. He is just SO bloody ruthless or blood-covered (or both) in those shows! But he's a great comic in them as well.
  23. Watch out William -- Dennis O'Hare is an amazing actor, but his character usually kills someone grotesquely or dies himself in a horrific manner! (At least if you are a TruBlood or American Horror Story fan.) I wouldn't be too surprised if he didn't just knife Toby in the back while no one was looking.
  24. This was a pretty funny episode. Loved Nurse Hoffel casually emptying gallons of peanut oil into the jacuzzi tub. Poor Chanel No. 5 -- I'd be upset too if I'd passed the MCATs unaided and no one cared! Yup, add me too to the list of those who forgot Wes was Hester's father. Poor Zeyday. I thought she was suspended from a ceiling when last we saw her, but it turns out to be the weirdly green-lit bottom of a long tunnel. Under Cassidy's mom's bed. Ooooookaaaaayyy...who has THAT in their house? (I mean besides Hannibal Lecter.) Loved Cassidy's mom's showdown with Number 3. The mom has a flat, depressed (also slightly depraved) affect, while Number 3 has just a straight flat affect. Fun scene.
