  1. It's neither of those sites. It was on moviepilot.com.
  2. How Visual Effects Create the Retro-Futuristic World of Agent Carter Katharine Trendacosta Yesterday 9:00pm http://io9.com/how-visual-effects-create-the-retro-futuristic-world-of-1686462293?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+io9%2Ffull+%28io9%29
  3. Sorry, but Grodd the telepathic killer gorilla was too much for my suspension of disbelief even on a show like The Flash.
  4. I recently stumbled across an article written last fall by someone defending Laurel. Everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion, so nothing's the matter with defending (or criticizing) any character on any TV show. However, that article turned me off just because the writer's overall tone was condescending and said stuff like the "bulk" of people who don't like Laurel are just being irrational, don't understand the show or character, aren't thinking, etc. So the writer set out to "educate" people with his article and prided himself on having changed several people's minds about Laurel after they read his article. I didn't want to post the article link because I don't want to stir up things here. I'll just say that the writer is one who posted a positive episode review of "Canaries".
  5. https://twitter.com/amellywood I'm sensing a trend... as I recall, the 50th episode had very little Felicity. Now the 60th episode has very little Felicity.
  6. Why aren't people watching this show?! ... Ratings News - 18th February 2015 Posted by DarkUFO at Wednesday, February 18, 201 http://www.spoilertv.com/2015/02/ratings-news-18th-february-2015.html
  7. This is my favorite show on television right now. HA is an amazing actress. Most of the time Peggy is pretty stoic because she's had to be. But she revealed her true emotions in some key scenes last night - like when she released months of pent-up frustration and anger in lashing out at the SSR guys about why she had to investigate on her own, or when she had difficulty speaking when she told them about Steve Rogers' vial of blood. Truly genuine and gut-wrenching. There were so many other good scenes in this episode that I loved as well: -- When Thompson was interrogating Peggy and warned her, "You know what I'm capable of", and Peggy looked him straight in the eye and responded, "And you know what I'm capable of." It showed how dangerous Peggy could be if she ever turned evil. -- When Thompson and Sousa were in the elevator and they both revealed that they believed Peggy, and then Thompson warned Sousa not to hesitate in shooting Dottie, considering that he saw that little girl in Russia tear through them. A nice bonding moment. -- When Peggy and Jarvis were handcuffed to the table, and he kept stopping their table swing with questions and she responds so matter-of-factly about possible injury ("there'll be a spray of glass" and "there'll be a spray of bullets"). Funny as hell. I can't believe more people aren't watching this show.
  8. Agent Carter is currently my favorite show on television. Hayley Atwell is an awesome actress. Last night's episode had it all - action, suspense, psychological drama, humor, heartbreak, etc. Peggy's usually stoic persona broke open in two significant scenes.
  9. Some of my fave depictions of adult couple relationships on TV (in no particular order): Mulder & Scully, The X-Files John & Aeryn, Farscape Helo & Sharon, Battlestar Galactica Richard & Kahlan, Legend of the Seeker
  10. Get used to that BTS pic of Arrow, BC and Arsenal.... it's going to be repeated on the Season 4 poster. This show is not only getting ridiculous, but its visuals are starting to look ridiculous. Per the ET interview, Quentin and Donna won't have scenes together. The selfie pic was just them goofing off on the set. WIth metahumans firmly established in the Flarrow universe (including a metahuman coming to Arrow in 3x19), it makes even less sense that Oliver would need Malcolm's help. WIth the Flash and Firestorm, he could easily defeat Ra's and the whole LOA. I don't think the Lazarus Pit will revive ashes.
  11. I really like Gordon on Gotham! He's like the straight man in a cast of colorful characters, and his reactive facial expressions are priceless. I couldn't get past Nick's helmet hair on the first episode of Grimm. I like 12 Monkeys so far, but the time line is confusing.
  12. Just speculating... we know that in 3x15 (Nanda Parbat) Malcolm is captured by Ra's. So let's say Oliver and Thea (because Oliver can't stop her) go to Nanda Parbat to try to save Malcolm (why? because plot). Ra's learns the truth - that Malcolm drugged Thea to kill Sara, and he kills Malcolm. Episode ends on cliffhanger as to the Queen siblings' fate. Then in 3x16 (The Offer), Oliver offers his life to save Thea. But Thea objects and offers her life to save Oliver. Ra's then offers to let Oliver live if Thea will take Sara's place in the LOA. (I can see him being more amenable to accepting young Thea into LOA training than Laurel.) Oliver of course objects. Then Thea gives a big speech about how he has always protected her but now it's her turn to protect him, and it's her choice. (Sorry, I'm channeling the climactic River & Simon scene in Serenity.) Ra's gives her one month to tie up her life in SC and return to Nanda Parbat. Then Oliver & Thea are back in SC by 3x17 for Diggle & Lyla's wedding. Incidentally, hadn't there been a spoiler about how Laurel would turn to Nyssa for help regarding her dilemma of lying to her father about Sara being alive? But that never happened. Laurel told her father the truth without Nyssa's help.
  13. I wouldn't be surprised if even the great and powerful Ra's is used as prop duty -- like giving his blessing to Nyssa training Laurel because he can see the 'fire' in her.
  14. Giving us some Felicity/Slade interaction would've taken Felicity off of prop duty.
  15. I've come across a few recent articles that are speculating that Malcolm's death is the big twist at the end of 3x15 (the "final twist" mentioned by MG in "Nanda Parbat"). I'm not so sure.
  16. I stumbled across this article - apparently Dale Gunn is a DC Comics character... Why Diggle Instead of Dale Gunn? By Hervé St-Louis Dec 17, 2014 - 17:27 http://www.comicbookbin.com/DiggleDaleGunn001.html
  17. Heck, yes... Is Arrow Missing Its Target? By Philip Schweier Feb 17, 2015 - 9:30 http://www.comicbookbin.com/Arrow_001.html
  18. Up until the second half of this season, I loved that Felicity was a hero without a mask and costume - a relatively normal, albeit geek genius, girl. However, if it will give Felicity her own story, then I hope she does become a costumed superhero in her own right - Artemis or whatever. Anything to get her off prop duty.
  19. Apparently Sleepy Hollow is now a 'toss-up' to be canceled or renewed. I hope it gets renewed for Season 3 because the last few episodes have been promising.
  20. MG has used the term "game changer" for both 3x15 and 3x18, I believe.
  21. Speculative (though unlikely) predictions... The Future of Arrow: Felicity, Thea, Artemis & Cheshire! by Joey M Isnain ⋅ Posted on February 17th, 2015 at 3:20am http://moviepilot.com/posts/2015/02/17/the-future-of-arrow-felicity-thea-artemis-cheshire-2702854?lt_source=external,manual
