  1. More quotes from 3x19... Oliver: "We need to grab my back-up weapons cache in the secondary lair." Ray (out in the field): "Still nothing. Not a visual sighting or any other reading at all from the Atom. And when I say Atom, I mean the suit, not myself in the third person." Oliver (to Felicity): "There's a decent chance that you and Palmer are related." Felicity: "You have sacrificed everything to be the Arrow. Even you and me. But... whether or not you break Roy out of Iron Heights, there is no more Arrow. Ra's took that from you." Oliver: "I was told once that a man cannot live by two names. Well, right now, I can't live by either. So I don't know who I am" Felicity: "I know who you are. Whether you're in a suit or under a hood, you're the man that I-- you're the man that I believe in."
  2. I don't think it's Sara. That looks like KC's profile, not CL's profile. I think they included the shot in the promo to tease fans into thinking it's Sara. (I don't think they'd need a stunt double for a walking shot.) Plus she's wearing gloves - did Sara wear gloves? Interesting that MG refers to the "remaining threesome" of Team Arrow. Isn't Laurel/BC still part of Team Arrow? (I'm going to post my thoughts about why Laurel wasn't included in that final goodbye scene with Roy in the 3x19 episode thread.) From the 3x21 official synopsis. Maybe Oliver's ceremony includes dunking him into the LP while he's healthy which changes his soul (like evil Angel - since the EPs love Buffy/Angel) and turns him evil. As I understand it, Thea being dunked into the LP while injured would heal her and not turn her evil. But a healthy person being dunked into the LP would turn him crazy or bad. So the promo voiceover about the soul could just be foreshadowing of 3x21. And what if the LOA has an alliance with HIVE, and Oliver as the Heir finds out something about the murder of Diggle's brother but keeps the secret from Diggle?
  3. Maybe we find out that the LOA - the organization that relies on purple smoke signals and medieval weapons - actually has a state-of-the-art jet. But more likely the plane belongs to HIVE or ARGUS (or the S4 Big Bad).
  4. Baby Fern in a pot can dance in the sunshine with Baby Groot in a pot. Instead of Laurel destroying evidence collected by the SCPD, what if there's no evidence to be found by Quentin when he and the police raid the foundry basement because Laurel warned Team Arrow ahead of time? She's still Acting DA, right? Maybe she gets a copy of every search warrant signed by a judge. It could be that there are just bare mannequins and computers filled with only Verdant business information and no weapons when the raid occurs.
  5. Some behind-the-scenes stuff - including observations about some of the actors - on that "Superhero Fight Club" promo (very interesting article, not spoilery unless you haven't been keeping up with the Spinoff news)... 9. When I first saw that white lacy-looking bodice, I thought 'wedding dress'? - but then I saw the facebook video (posted in the Public Appearances thread here) and realized it was a white top, not a dress, worn over jeans.
  10. How does Felicity - or anyone on Team Arrow - even know the "Black Canary" name? Quentin said it once to Laurel at Sara's gravesite rather sarcastically. Did Laurel then tell everyone on Team Arrow that she wanted to be called that as her code name in the field from now on, or did I miss a scene somewhere?
  11. It's a bit hypocritical for Quentin to be angry at Laurel and Oliver (persuaded by Laurel to keep quiet) for not telling him for months that Sara was dead. Last season, Quentin (persuaded by Sara to keep quiet ) didn't tell Dinah - Sara's mother! - and Laurel for months that Sara was alive.
  12. From Paul Blackthorne's ET Online interview (posted in the News thread)... It makes no sense to me either.

  14. WeWatchforthePlot strikes again (reviews 3x18 "Public Enemy") - they seem to post their episode reviews right before the new episode airs... Quentin Lance Wasn’t a Very Good Detective After All April 14, 2015 Kerry https://wewatchfortheplot.wordpress.com/
  15. After seeing that trailer, I am now not interested at all in seeing Terminator Genisys. They've completely destroyed what made the first Terminator movie so enjoyable. And Arnold Schwarzennegger now being Sarah's adoptive father? Ugh.
  16. The fight club promo - I can't even... It really looks like the EPs are going all in with catering to the comic book fans. With all the emphasis on costumed superheroes and villains, I also have to think that DC Comics wants the TV shows to promote their comic characters so that they can sell more comics (even if the characters aren't exactly the same). What if both Roy and Thea die (the two deaths predicted), and Ra's gives Oliver the choice to save only one of them via the LP (another choice - eye roll) in return for becoming Heir to the Demon? Oliver would of course choose to save Thea, but he would have a lot of manpain over not choosing Roy - esp. considering that Roy took the fall for Oliver. I really hope the wedding is not Oliver & Felicity because (as someone else here said) that would be a sign that they're not endgame since then they would likely break up in season 4. The more I read the spoilers, the more I feel like I won't be returning to watch Arrow next season - but "'hope' is the thing with feathers"...

  18. Speculation that SA's social media presence contributed to his being cast as Casey in TMNT 2... 19. I've seen Daredevil discussions in both the Small Talk and Mind Your Surroundings threads; however, since this article is heavily Arrow as well, I decided to post it here -- an interesting article by Robert Dougherty that presents Arrow as a cautionary tale for Daredevil... 'Daredevil' Merely Follows 'Arrow's' Dark Superhero TV Footsteps By Robert Dougherty Apr 12, 2015 01:30 PM http://www.themovienetwork.com/article/daredevil-merely-follows-arrows-dark-superhero-tv-footsteps -- shows the limits of how long this style can really succeed. As such, Arrow can currently serve as a cautionary tale for Daredevil in future seasons, and for the Marvel/Netflix collection of shows in general. * * * No one really expects Daredevil to eventually crack a dozen smiles an episode. But once it proves that Marvel TV can be graphic, dark, brooding and often depressing as well, it may be in its best creative interest not to rub it in any more than it absolutely has to. Arrow forgot that more than once after it broke the glass ceiling for dark superhero television. Now time will tell if Daredevil's freedom to be even darker and more painful will become a lasting gift, or an inevitable crutch.
  20. A few days ago, MG posted that they just shot a Laurel/Tatsu interaction and then he posted that there was a lot more Tatsu coming up. I've been trying to figure out how this would happen. Tatsu would have to meet Laurel either in Starling City or in Nanda Parbat. Could Tatsu be with the LOA as well, or does she come to Starling City? Are Tatsu and Maseo together again, or are they still separated? Did I miss something?
  21. Maybe the length of the season has something to do with it? Daredevil is only 13 episodes, I believe. Arrow is 23 episodes per season. Similarly, Agent Carter had a much shorter season than - and is much better than (imo) - Agents of SHIELD. A shorter season means more time to spend on production quality and a tighter storyline. Or it could be like The Flash and a lot of other shows - the first season is good because a lot of prior thought was put into it before it even aired.
  22. I've edited my post above because I found a transcript of "The Return" and added quotes of the relevant dialogue from that episode.
  23. In "The Return", didn't we find out that Laurel originally planned to work for a big law firm in San Francisco but then her father basically shamed her into changing her plans and that's why she ended up working for a nonprofit like CNRI? I don't recall the exact conversation (and I don't want to watch that episode again), so maybe someone else has a better recollection. EDITED TO ADD: Here are the relevant dialogue excerpts from "The Return" (source doesn't identify who says what, but you can guess)... Takes more than some fancy corporate law firm job for some of us to get over Sara's death. I love you, so I'm going to pretend like you didn't say that, and I'm going to drive you home. I heard you decided to go corporate in San Francisco instead of saving the world in Starling City. I realized that maybe the world can't be saved. Hanging around with billionaire playboys like some kind of gold digger? Taking on a sell out job in San Francisco. Is that what this is about? When Sara died, you said you wanted to go to law school 'cause you wanted to make the world a better place. Wethersby Posner is one of the most prestigious firms in the country. You said you wanted to help people. All you'd be doing there is helping fat cats get fatter. You know, maybe this sermon would have a little bit more credibility if you weren't so lit right now. Well, I don't need to be sober to see what you're doing with your life. Things with your father seemed, uh, they seemed tense. Your roommate told me you were taking a job here. I said that couldn't be true, that you were going to work for a white shoe firm. Ah, I was. And then someone reminded me why I became a lawyer in the first place. You want to tell me about it over dinner?
