So Oliver survived a stab through his body because of his strong will - but then Ra's expects Oliver's will not to be strong enough to withstand a brainwashing? What is Ra's thinking? I guess it's like Goldilocks & the 3 Bears. The man who fulfills the prophecy to become the new Ra's must have a "just right" will - not too weak and not too strong. (eye roll) So Ra's disinherited Nyssa as his Heir. He maybe also denied Nyssa's request to use the LP to save Sara (I'm fanwanking). But now the LOA is going after Nyssa? That makes no sense - unless it's a pre-emptive strike (or it's for unauthorized training of a non-member). I'm still befuddled by the whole Laurel concluding that she's not her sister and will be her own kind of hero. She's still wearing Sara's wig and (backup?) Canary costume. She's using a moniker that's a variation of her sister's moniker (Canary, BC). Now she's using an upgraded version of her sister's sonic device. How is that not being her sister? From the Comicbook.com preview... Now my expectations are super high... hope I'm not disappointed. From the Eonline scoop... Is MG watching the same show? Felicity has always had backbone and she's always stood up to Oliver. This season is when her character regressed into a weepy, clingy girlfriend/prop for Ray Palmer. Hope the remaining four episodes give us the pre-Ray Felicity.

So I guess Quentin will end up forgiving Laurel but not Oliver?

Regarding the floater speculation - Amanda Waller is in the latest digital tie-in comics issue of The Flash: Season Zero. MG has said that Waller is not off the table for the Flarrow universe, but has also said that the actress who plays her is very busy and has limited availability. Assuming MG's latter statement was just to throw us off the scent, Waller is still a viable candidate for the floater character. Alternatively, a hovering ARGUS presence in Arrow, Flash and Spinoff can also support the theory that Lyla rejoins ARGUS and is the floater.

Incidentally, the latest post on the Offficial CW Arrow facebook page refers to Malcolm as "Al Sa-Her" ("the Magician" in Arabic). I wonder if there's any significance to their reminding us of Malcolm's Arabic name at this point? https://www.facebook.com/CWArrow

I just hope they address it on the show in some fashion. If Ra's refused to use the LP for Sara but is now using it for Thea, I'd imagine that Nyssa would be even more bitter and angry (in addition to being disinherited). When you can bring people back from the dead, it kinda undermines an entire season that's motivated by a character's death. Oliver is only becoming the Heir to the Demon. He can't become the Demon's Head until Ra's dies. So Ra's would still be Ra's, as I understand it, and he would still be in charge of the LOA until/unless he dies.

I just read in the Agents of SHIELD forum that the AOS spinoff is going to star Adrienne Palicki and Nick Blood as Bobbi (Mockingbird) and Hunter. Not sure how I feel about that. On Gotham, they're starting to salvage the Barbara character. When she was part of a couple with Jim Gordon, she was a whiny rich girl who had zero chemistry with Gordon. Then they separated. Now she's paired up with a serial killer and is showing a dark side. The Arrow EPs could take a lesson from this...

Unfortunately, I don't think Felicity or her connections have the skills to make the LPs work for Ra's again. It would have to take magic of some kind, I think. What Felicity could offer is to modernize the LOA's communications and network facilities (if they even have one - I mean, purple smoke, really?). Incidentally, here's something that has me puzzled... The existence of the LP raises the question of why Nyssa didn't use it last fall to resurrect Sara as soon as she found out about her death. If the LP works to resurrect the dead-dead, then it should've worked to bring Sara back to life. They haven't said there's any magical connection between the LP and Ra's that only allows Ra's to use the LP. It's likely available to anyone who has access. Nyssa grew up in the LOA and could've figured out a way to get access to the LP. Or at a minimum, there should've been some reference to her asking Ra's for access (and him turning her down) or mentioning the LP to Oliver or Laurel last fall. Or when Nyssa had her argument with Ra's about being disinherited, there could've been some mention then of how Ra's refused to save Sara with the LP. If the LP only works to resurrect the mostly dead, then Thea isn't dead-dead and will be someone else who didn't perish at the blade of Ra's, also fulfilling the prophecy. If she doesn't fit the prophecy only because she isn't a "man", then that makes both the prophecy and the LOA incredibly sexist. I think the EPs have written themselves into a corner on this one.

I really hope the EPs didn't set up seasons 1-3 to be like the 'Gwen Stacy Era' for Oliver. If Oliver and Felicity get married, and Thea becomes sidekick Speedy, while Diggle remains part of Team Arrow, it could be like the Fantastic Four (family team dynamic). I'd prefer that instead of adhering to the GA comics version of Oliver as a serial cheater. Here's my list of contrived/ridiculous reasons for the upcoming wedding: Oliver and Felicity get married to improve his chances of being elected Mayor of Starling City. Oliver and Felicity get married because she becomes pregnant. Oliver and Felicity get married so that she can access his remaining assets in Starling City. Oliver and Felicity get married because of another prophecy that a single Heir will not live to become Ra's. Ray and Felicity get married because he's not an American citizen and needs a green card to stay in the U.S. Ray and Felicity get married to facilitate transfer of ownership of the Palmer Tech company to her. Nyssa and Sara get married so that Nyssa can become legal conservator of crazy Sara's affairs. Nyssa and Laurel get married because Nyssa is not an American citizen and needs a green card to stay in the U.S. Oliver and Thea get married to become co-Heirs in order to fulfill the prophecy because they both survived the blade of Ra's (like Ancient Egyptian rulers who were married siblings). Oliver and Laurel get married "because comics" (hey, it's just as plausible as Laurel becoming the BC because of her name).

Sounds like they really are using "Legends" as part of the Spinoff title - either that, or DR's comments were another deliberate fake-out.
