I've been thinking about the EPs saying that S4 is going to be lighter than S3 -- If they kill off Felicity or have Oliver dump Felicity or have Felicity dump Oliver, that will just create more pain and angst next season. So the only way they could break up Oliver and Felicity, while staying true to that promise of a lighter season, would be for the break-up to be a mutual decision after spending the summer together. That would make no sense, given everything they've gone through together just to get together. But MG has also said that the only constant about the show was that it was always changing. So would the EPs really go there, do you think?

I really do think that the Nyssa vs. Malcolm conflict is a story being saved for S4 and might be tied into Sara's resurrection. Incidentally, I only just realized the anvil symbolism of Felicity being the one to save Oliver from falling.

I think they are retconning the Oliver & Laurel relationship a little. IIRC, in "The Return", when Oliver sneaked back to Starling City, there were no scenes of Oliver spying on Laurel with longing glances. In last night's "My Name Is Oliver Queen," in the flashback scene when Oliver explained to Tatsu why he's not returning to Starling City, he said: "I tortured Shrieve for hours. I don't want that darkness around my mother or my sister." No mention of Laurel, the girl he's supposed to love and whose picture he gazed at during his first year stranded on the island. On the other hand, I guess you could argue that he knew Laurel would not want to be near him if he returned since he cheated on her and got her sister 'drowned'.

Is Oliver wearing a new costume in that LOT trailer (posted in the Mind Your Surroundings thread), or is it his old Arrow costumer?

Watching that LOT trailer made me realize how much better the fight sequence looks when you can see CL doing her own fighting.

I like that the LOT preview acknowledges that Arrow started the whole thing. Is that Oliver's new suit? Are Oliver and Barry going to be in all 13 episodes of LOT? If not, how will they explain their departure mid-run? I'm starting to think that Malcolm (the new Ra's) is going to be the floater. His ties to Arrow are obvious, Sara being resurrected via the LP ties the LOA to the Spinoff - er, Legends of Tomorrow. Barry has now been to NP, and Malcolm now knows about the Flash. Damn... I really am going to have to watch all three shows next season.
