I think it's interesting that EBR and SA each picked Scandal - almost like it's something they've discussed before.

I was watching tv entertainment news coverage of the Emmy noms, and there was not a single mention of TM. They mostly mentioned Taraji Henson, Empire, Jon Hamm, Mad Men and Modern Family. The Emmys seem to be largely a popularity contest, with the same stars & shows winning year after year. So I would be shocked - but pleased - if TM won.

Since SA gave us that dialogue tease "What's wrong, Speedy?", I've imagined the opening scene to be at Oliver & Felicity's new house in the new city, and Oliver getting a phone call from Thea. Or maybe it's night, they're in bed and get woken up by Thea's phone call.

I think if they ever do start showing flashbacks to Oliver and Laurel having good moments as a couple in the past, then it'll be a sign that they're headed toward an Oliver/Laurel re-hookup and possible endgame.

Remember, a fan asked MG on tumblr if we were going to see a flashback of how Oliver and Laurel met, and MG said that they were kids and 'I don't think so' (or words to that effect). Of course, it could just be that they didn't want to have to find kid look-alikes. They could still have flashbacks that allow them to use SA and KC as their younger, college-age selves.
