Regarding the spoiler that 4x01 will end in a shocking scene... In his SDCC press roundtable interview, AK said that the ramifications of what happened in the Flash finale will play out on Arrow. So I'm wondering if they will indeed use Barry's time travel trip to change something that happened on Arrow in S3 - and that's what will be revealed in 4x01. Alternatively - in one of her SDCC interviews, WM said that Damien Darhk will not be metahuman but will have a lot of power. What if his power is a tech/magic combo? And he uses that power to change something?

This happened during the press roundtables at SDCC, so I guess it's a public appearance?... AK was asked if the singularity that happened in the S1 finale of The Flash would affect the other shows in the same universe (Arrow, LoT), and he said that it would be referred to on the other shows and also that "the ramifications of it will play out, certainly on Arrow... you'll have to sorta watch how that happens." Pope's line about how they were going to put his family first for once (right before Tom ignored him and drove off) was so spot on. I get that they're trying to show the new ruthless Tom who has to make hard decisions, but it didn't work for me. If Sarah had been a Mason family member, Tom would've dropped everything else and gone off to rescue her. If I were a member of the 2nd Mass who's not a Mason or Mason love interest, I'd rally everyone else to stage a military coup and overthrow Tom as the leader - because it's clear that everyone who's not a Mason is just cannon fodder. If they're setting up a Pope vs Tom conflict, I'm now on Team Pope. Oh - and the Mason Militias line made me cringe.
