Apparently Natasha being ticklish is a backstage joke? She didn't break though--not much anyway. Not the worst season finale. This whole season has been comparatively weak IMO.

Yeah, DD has talked a lot of ish about TPTB on social media. The difference between him and VR though is that his complaint is mainly that he wasn't getting enough airtime. Apparently that's one of the things TPTB won't put up with, i.e., airing out contractual issues in public and trying to shame or embarrass them. At the end of the day, they hold all the cards and if they're willing to ignore grousing by the fans the actor has no real recourse. IMO YR is hanging by a couple of strings and they're just trying to stick it out as long as they can. To that effort, I think certain vets can be considered "safe" because they are key to the portions of Y&R history TPTB want to keep viable. But boy have certain characters worn out their welcome, and their portrayers are redefining the concepts of "phoning it in" and "resting on one's laurels." Sigh.

Una had a pretty high security clearance due to her rank. How would her modification issues not have been discovered during the background check for that clearance? I guess at some point the clearance level increases must have become automatic to go with her climbs in rank. I love how this show tries to leave the audience feeling good and hopeful. Not like they were just put through a needlessly emotional wringer (looking at you, DISCO), or they just lost 100 IQ points because the plot is so labyrinthine (take a bow, PICARD). SNW is still reigning as my favorite ST series.

To my awareness Phyllis isn't particularly friendly with either of the brides while she is a long-time enemy of Mariah's mommy. Kinda rude of Phyllis to show up IMO. Jack could've bought Allie instead. (Assuming Allie didn't accompany someone else; I haven't watched today's show yet.)

And the neon white color of both their gowns was a hard pass for me. Hopefully their reception dresses will be better.

First it was in Korean and then when Barry bumped the box against the house it switched to Japanese. I imagine the talking was a warning in case someone picked the box up not knowing what was inside. There weren't any words or markings on the outside.

I think the issue of Dom's custody has been deemed settled by TPTB. No reason to compound the clusterfcukery of that entire surrogacy storyline until Dom is SORASed a bit and can more actively participate in a storyline. Meanwhile, TPTB might be trying to swat down accusations of racism since it's been stated on another Y&R forum (without documented proof, however) that JV was let go in order to have $$$ keep RN on board. It's alleged that's why so many characters have been singing Rey's praises now that he's dead, as well as why they had Ashland make the $250M donation in Rey's name. In the 3+ years he was a character, Rey never became as sainted as he did after they killed him off.

AFAIC this one wasn't ripped from the headlines; it came from a roll of toilet paper. Between Maroun giving the perp/star witness a fix and Price not recusing himself due to his being personally compromised on the topic of opiate addiction, the guilty verdict was laughable to me.
