  1. 'New Matrix is not a remake or reboot, says Zak Penn'
  2. Mostly spoiler-free review for "Duet".
  3. Another preview article about the musical crossover, with quotes from Melissa and Chris Wood:
  4. Some spoiler-y teases for the musical from FlashTV News.
  5. Each show is being represented by two regulars; so it's just who they picked you don't like? I would have picked David Harewood or Chyler over Chris Wood, myself.
  6. I figured the musical would be fun, but way to have two depressing episodes before it, Flash writers.
  7. Flawed, but still: poster for the musical:
  8. Just an reminder that Grant and Candice, and the Flash producers will be at PaleyFest tomorrow; so more interviews/spoilers/etc. will be out starting tomorrow evening.
  9. TVLine preview of the musical - *spoilers*
  10. TVLine preview of the musical - *spoilers*
  11. I find it odd that Mon-El/Chris Wood isn't being mentioned or seen in the promotion of the crossover. (Hank/J'onn/Harewood isn't being mentioned either, but his role doesn't seem to be as big as Wood's.) He's in some promo photos, but that's about it. He's supposed to be in the dream world too, but we haven't seen or heard anyone talk about that. It could just be them wanting to keep some surprises, but I thought at least a photo of him in the musical part would be out.
  12. There was a screening last week: Variety review *spoilers* -- sounds like typical PB to me. '7 Biggest Takeaways From ‘Prison Break’ Premiere in Austin': *spoilers*
  13. I love me some The Rock Obama! But what would he be angry angry about? Real Obama is so well-rested now...
  14. Well, the musical crossover is being promoted... (cross-posting from the Flash forum) Entertainment Tonight set visit for the musical: (We get to hear a little bit of singing!) Article about producing the musical episode: Darren Criss interview: NY Times article on the musical crossover:

  16. This week's Chronicles of Cisco: Entertainment Tonight set visit for the musical: (We get to hear a little bit of singing!) Article about producing the musical episode: Darren Criss interview: NY Times article on the musical crossover:
  17. I think I've already made that suggestion in the Wishlist thread -- it makes perfect sense. They already did it a few times with Cisco making devices for CCPD; I don't know why they just don't make it official. Then we'd see Barry doing more of his actual job maybe; and then we could have more characters and scenes outside the STAR Labs sets.
  18. Darren Criss was on Conan and talked a little bit about his role in the musical.
  19. I expected a hiccup. What they did here was dumb. Barry "You're everything to me" Allen wouldn't break up with the woman he has been in love with forever for no reason.

  21. I think trying to make (Disney's version of) the beast look more human-like actually made things worse. It's an actor with mocap, right? Then CG over that? (I haven't been following the production.)
  22. The best Matrix sequel was the Animatrix. At least a 'reboot'/sequel of the Matrix universe makes more sense than the Terminator reboots. I can see how there may be more stories to tell in that world.
  23. There were so many complaints about sad/mopey Barry last season, I just don't know why they'd take this turn. I'm going to enjoy the musical, but I'm dreading having to go back to nonsensical angst after.
  24. I mean, you'd think they'd want to promote Teri Hatcher and Kevin Sorbo in a Kevin Smith directed episode.
