Wally may be getting out of the speedforce soon, if that's him behind Cisco. On the other hand, when Barry was lost in there he was back by the next episode also. On the other other hand, Wally isn't the lead, so I thought they'd have him missing a little longer. But I guess they thought 2 rescue missions were too much to do for the rest of the season.

I was already a little worried about Kreisberg having a part in the musical, now after "Wrath of Savitar", I gotta lower my expectations. ---------- Anyway, promo photos of 3.16, "Into the Speed Force": (Guest stars, ahoy!) I know they try and avoid spoilers in the descriptions, but I think they should have mentioned Jay Garrick/JW Shipp was appearing.

I was more mad than sad, but I haven't found a fitting gif yet. ;-) Sometimes I wonder about the writers room. After 2 (two!) episodes of Grodd filler, they put ALL the plot twists in this one.

So... with this first engagement cancelled, this means I can get my Christmas proposal, right? (Looking for a silver lining here...) Nah. I think Barry and Iris are making out a bit better than Arrow's main couple. The woman didn't immediately get riddled with bullets after saying 'yes', and reversing the engagement didn't take multiple episodes. In general, they seem to like hitting relationship milestones on a quicker schedule on The Flash. I definitely don't think it's going to take multiple seasons, because they can see how much it sucked on that show.

EW post-mortem: 'The Flash boss, Grant Gustin dissect those shocking twists' -- some mild *spoilers* for next week's episode.

I think this theory is good, the thing that's missing for me is what is the motivation for killing Iris? I feel it would have to be more than just destroying someone Barry loves. Otherwise it's Zoom all over again. ... ... Which is why on the other hand I don't want this theory to be true, because "the speedster villain has been among us the whole time" for a THIRD time in a row? I thought they listened to the complaints about Zoom last year. Can't Savitar just be an evil speed god?

I was going to ask if anyone else noticed that. I wasn't 100% sure it was a suit or just really good mocap. I knew Savitar looked different!

They definitely aren't engaged now, but it's unclear whether they still consider themselves a couple. They still have the West house set, so it's possible one of them could move out. It would be super awkward if they were broken up but still living together.

You know, even with her (stupid!) Killer Frost arc, I never thought that they'd write Caitlin off the show; but with the addition of her being the Betrayer, it now seems more likely.

UGH. Kreisberg! ::shakes fist:: So it was too soon for a proposal. :( Should I be glad the engagement only lasted one episode? Instead of them pretending everything is okay for X episodes? I knew they'd do something to manufacture angst, but it's just the whiplash from the last episode -- geez.

He did not lie like Oliver; but he did propose for the wrong reasons. ::SIGH:: I do have to give them props for surprising me, several times. Although, some of that was people being out of character.

No, Wally, noooooo! I figured someone would get trapped in the speedforce - but not so soon! And I knew three speedsters would be too many, but again, not so soon! So now the mission is to 1) Save Iris, 2) Save Wally, and Stop Savitar. If it has to be someone we know already (siiiiiiiiiiiggggghhhh....), I think it's Barry.

WHAAAAATTT There needed to be a bigger, angrier reaction by everyone to Caitlin keeping part of the stone. This episode, man....

Wow, this was almost the complete opposite of the last episode. With all the Grodd filler they decided to put all the third act plot points in this one?? Barry didn't ask Joe's permission? Or at least talk to him about proposing? I DON"T BELIEVE YOU, SHOW.

In the promo for the next episode, there's a quick shot of Darren Criss/Music Meister in DEO(?) handcuffs being walked through the DEO(?) by some agents -- so is he an alien? Is that how they will explain his powers?
