I wasn't expecting the Savitar identity reveal to be in this episode, but I thought they'd at least drop another clue. I don't think we got anything on that front.

"The Once and Future Flash" promo: Welcome to the Wig Club, Grant! Oh, I hate them for teasing a shiny new Flash costume that will (probably) never be the main costume! ETA: So the reason they didn't use the loft set last episode was because they were trashing it for this one.

Also the whole thing with not taking Caitlin to the hospital was stupid. (Yeah, yeah, it makes a 'better' scene to have the team save her, BUT STILL.) They'd rather her die than go to jail? The Central City Hospital screens for metas now? And even then, she still would have gotten proper medical care (it's a TV show, I'm assuming). But it brought up something that hasn't been touched on AT ALL since the "Killer Frost" episode -- has Caitlin been living as a fugitive this whole time??

Like I said, Guggenheim's gotta Guggenheim.

First, I want to talk about the ending with Caitlin. I feel like there's no middle ground here. (Okay, actually I think there is a middle ground, but the writers clearly are not interested in doing a nuanced story about Caitlin and her powers.) Either they find a a way to completely nullify her powers for good, or she goes full Killer Frost/villain - whether that means she's off the show, or bumped down to recurring, I don't know. I just don't think they can keep doing this "sometimes I'm KF, sometimes I'm not" back and forth for much longer. Definitely not another season. I think we'll see him again. I don't think they would cast Dastmalchian, just for one appearance.

I know his schedule is busy, I'm glad he was able to got to find time to do another film!

Ah, so it's more like the showrunners don't have actual control over their show? The only show I can think of right now that had an regular actor leave then return was Jorja Fox(Sara Sidle) on CSI. Don't know if that was a network or studio directive, though. I can see them eloping.

It might not be under the title "Legion of Doom", but my theory is that they'll have a big villain team-up as the (4-show) crossover threat next season. Well, not on Arrow, where they massively de-powered her. On Flash, she knocked over buildings and gave the Flash a beatdown. Are they really that powerful? If they didn't want her back I doubt she'd be back -- as a regular, no less.

TV Line's May Sweeps Scorecard is back!! These spoilers count for episodes 3.20 - 3.23 of Flash (assuming the finale is May 23, and there are no breaks). Sure, probably; but it's not just lighting/textures, it's the design. He looks like a Terminator skeleton with a human head attached, mixed with Iron Man. I think something more streamlined might have worked better. In contrast, the wealth of detail on Aquaman's costume is really working for me. Flash's look should be the simplest.

Sounds like it's the show/runners not being able to move on to me. This makes me wonder what the deal is going to be for new!Black Canary/Dinah next season.
