  1. I was about to ask why does Harewood need a mold of his head, but then I remembered he also plays Cyborg 'Superman'.

Look how happy your lead actor is when he gets to do fun, happy stuff! Take note, showrunners. It doesn't have to be a musical every week, but nobody (including) wants moody Barry all the time. There have been happy moments this season, but the dark cloud of Alchemy/Savitar/Iris' death has been there too.
  3. Episode 2.18 description: http://www.spoilertv.com/2017/03/supergirl-episode-218-ace-reporter-promo.html Descriptions sometimes don't reflect what the actual episode will be like, but I'm glad it looks like this one is focused on Kara.
  4. Heh! I don't know how long this has been going on (I don't read the comics), but in the preview for the next Flash:Rebirth they use the same logos for CCPD and CC Jitters from the show!
  5. Movie & TV Award Nominations:
  6. In the Season 1 finale, T-bag handcuffed himself to Michael (because he knew they were going to ditch him), so then Abruzzi chopped off his hand.
  7. I don't think any (official) cast announcements have been made. We can safely assume Melissa Benoist will be back.
  8. ... Re the bolded: my memory is foggy, but I believe he "died" during season 2 and was somehow resurrected during season 4, because I do remember him coming back. End of Season 2, he had an ambiguous ending where he could have been dead or not; then he pops up alive in Season 4. Heh. Glad to see everyone else, but I'm only here for Wentworth. :)
  9. Featurette on Batman + Harley Quinn -- okay, so, is Harley/Nightwing a thing? I've never heard anything about that pairing....
  10. Pretty much, yes. I think over on TWoP we figured it was approximately 9 months from the beginning of the series to the end -- not counting flashbacks or flashforwards. The death date has been retconned to 2010; I guess to match up with the year the series actually ended.
  11. Ratings reports: TVLine: TV by the Numbers; which has commentary about the show's initial development at Fox: Deadline:
  12. Some hiatus fun -- How Barry saves Iris: http://iwasalwaysaromantic.tumblr.com/post/159161552242/and-thats-how-barry-saved-iris-life-savitar
  13. Did they change the year of Michael's death because they wanted him to have a pre-tween son, or because they thought the show timeline ending in 2005 instead of 2010 would be 'too much math' for the audience? It's your own fault for having a screwy timeline, Show. There better be more Sucre coming up. "I'm brown, and I know French!" LOL at them only showing flashbacks to Season 1. Did like that they used that clip of the riot hug. Get those dollars -- both Went and Dom have producer credits. Also noticed that both their names are shown at the same time (first) in the opening credits; in the original run Dom's name was first (even though Wentworth was the lead) because he was the bigger star at the time. Do NOT care one bit about T-bag and his CGI hand. Those hitmen were sloppy. Kellerman would not approve. Glad to see Sara learned a thing or two from the past 4 seasons, though. I gotta say, the mysteries set up here aren't as compelling. It was nice to see the old characters, but the only story I'm really interested in is what's up with Michael. We'll see how much of this I end up fast-forwarding. It was soooooo satisfying when Lincoln got to punch him (repeatedly)!
  14. Wasn't Smallville fairly good at premieres and finales, and not-so-good with in between? (I stopped watching around season 5, I think) They went for 10 seasons.
  15. Didn't think they'd publish during the hiatus; new Chronicles of Cisco:
  16. Lots of reviews are out now, and more on the way; not going to link them all, but I wanted to respond to this : NY Times: YES. A thousand times, 'yes'. Even the pilot (which was excellent and one of my top ten ever), the least ludicrous episode of the series, was kind of preposterous. Y'all should have seen the Nitpick thread for this show when TWoP still existed. You stayed for the compelling characters and actors, and to see how this crazy adventure would turn out -- not really for any realistic plot. And actually the show did have a sense of humor in the first season.
  17. Interview with producer Paul Scheuring, Oh please; Fichtner probably wasn't available. And Wentworth and Purcell.:
  18. LOL at that "Present day, Fox River" using the EXACT same stock footage they used on the show dozens of times a decade ago!
  19. 'Watch the First Five Minutes of the Premiere Exclusively on Facebook'
  20. It's mixed Australian/American. I would have said Australian before, but he's been the States for a while now, and most of his roles are American so I think it's rubbed off on his speech.
  21. Hee! Thanks for sharing. The break-up was just completely out of character for Barry. One way to look at the family dynamic with Barry and the Wests: Barry essentially has the son-in-law position, but he managed to get it (way) before marrying Iris. (And maybe not everyone is that close with their in-laws, but some are.)
  22. In the straight-to-DVD 'movie' that came out after the finale, Micheal dies getting electrocuted when he helps Sara escape. ... But since he's alive in the revival, I guess it doesn't matter how he "died". :-/
  23. VFX reel for Supergirl, mostly from the "Parasite" episode:
  24. I wouldn't say that Purcell was a poor actor on PB. His range was limited -- partly due to the writing -- especially after season 1.
  25. Interview with Sarah Wayne-Callies (video), More comments from the cast and producers, and another preview article.
