  1. This is just a general warning for everyone in the thread. Please be cognizant of what you're posting and where. This is not the single thread of TWoP which was a catchall for all things GH. So before you post, ask yourself if it belongs here. If it doesn't, find the appropriate thread and, if it doesn't exist, create it. Thanks.
  2. The rumor right now is that Dr. Obrecht is somehow connected to Kailey (real name, Katarina Stephens) and tries to keep her hidden at Wyndemere. Spencer sees her and everyone simply believes he has an imaginary friend. At some point, Britt sees her. This is all from General Hospital Happenings, which is typically pretty spot on, although they've been calling for Christina Baldwin and Serena forever now, and we've still yet to see them.
  3. While it was an ABC press release and it's their job to spin pretty much any numbers, the actual figures and facts cannot be exaggerated. That is, ABC can't claim the show had its best May Sweep in 7 years if that's not actually the case. I've got some hard numbers for last week, courtesy of Soap Opera Network: Keep in mind that the ABC press release was an average of the 4 weeks of May Sweeps, while the above numbers are just for last week. Compared to the same week last year, GH is up 400k in total viewers, as well as 56k in the women 18-49 demo.
  4. She did have more proof: the murder weapon with Ric's fingerprints all over it. It would be relatively easy for Anna to obtain a search warrant to search Ric's hotel room so long as she found a sympathetic judge, especially considering Ric has a reputation that precedes him in PC. That Julian was the informant wouldn't make much difference if his story seemed to check out, which it appeared to.
  5. Oooooh, I like this one! Wonder if this is going to be the mooted Michael Muhney role? Pretty sure the new Cassadine is a new teen, Kailey.

  7. I'm not happy about Julian lying and getting Ric arrested. For one, I don't want this to send Liz back into Nikolas' arms because I cannot stomach seeing them together again. I also feel slightly sorry for Ric, who actually appears on the straight and narrow and was trying his best to change for Liz and Molly. And I like Julian and Alexis, but there's no way that the lie isn't going to come out at some point and blow their relationship to pieces that may or may not be able to be put back together. So, basically, Julian's lie has thrown two couples I enjoy into uncertainty. Womp. I was hoping beyond hope that Fluke would reveal himself today, but I wasn't super surprised that he simply winked at the camera with a "wouldn't you like to know?" Also, I was impressed that AG allowed himself to appear on screen looking like he's on the verge of death. Real!Luke looked awful.
  8. Outside of this game, Johnny might be on track to be the next pope. But in the game? He's a gigantic asshole. And, I mean, I don't begrudge him for being ultra competitive and wanting to win every time he competes in one of these things, but there are things he's done to other cast members that have nothing to do with the game. His comments about Jordan's disability is one of those things; his blatant misogyny over the years is another. But if we're going to discuss that, I'll take it to his individual thread.
  9. If possible, please provide a link to your source when posting spoilers/rumors. Thanks.
  10. @Kitty Redstone, you're referring to the docks, which can be seen here: I always enjoyed them, but I do remember feeling they were overused. Not an episode would go by without at least a handful of characters down there to have arguments, stare out at the water, hold each other at gunpoint, etc. It was probably the most dangerous dock in the US. I have a sneaking suspicion that it's since been demolished or is simply in storage, because we've traded down for Piers 52 and, I think, 54 (with the stairs to nowhere).
  11. Ratings for "The Calm" (courtesy of TVBTN):
  12. The more I think about it (and God only knows why I have been), the more I figure Anya was simply being obtuse for the sake of it. She very obviously doesn't respect Clarke or any of the 100, and she's unapologetic for wanting to destroy them. At the moment she was forcing Clarke to treat Tris, Anya had the upper hand. And in that case, why accept responsibility for any of the casualties? She wants the 100 gone yesterday, and every moment they continue to exist, they're to blame for the Grounders who die.
  13. I think Clarke realized that a blood transfusion would only work if the donor and recipient had the same blood type, which is why she approached Anya for her blood first. She thought that the best chance for a match would be from someone from the same tribe. It was only when Anya's bodyguard refused to let Clarke take Anya's blood that Finn volunteered his own blood. As for the dirty equipment, I thought we saw Clarke and Finn disinfect the needle for the blood transfusion with bleach because the Grounders had no moonshine. I assumed that the scalpel Clarke was using was also disinfected, but I don't believe we saw it occur. Was her name "Trist" or "Triss"? I couldn't make it out and, admittedly, wasn't really paying much attention.
  14. Surprisingly, it wasn't sex! Although Bellamy and Raven got themselves into their own compromising position(s). Am I supposed to feel sorry for the Grounders? Or feel sympathy for them? Because all I could think this entire episode was, "Anya? Shut the fuck up, you hypocrite." That she was acting so high and mighty about The 100's bomb injuring the "innocent" girl? I wanted to slap her. Were The 100 supposed to just sit and wait for the Grounders to show up to kill all of them? Oy. Abby's alive! And Kane! And Jaha! Who wants to bet we see a shot of a very alive Diana in the season finale?
  15. I love a chicken chili, especially for times when someone can't cook. You can make a ton of it and it's easily reheatable. Providing in small baggies some chopped onion, shredded cheddar cheese, tortilla chips, etc., is also super easy. And if you're feeling generous, prepare a bunch of white rice as well, to pour the chili over. And now I'm hungry.
  16. There's been a bit of a bit of discussion in the main thread regarding the sets of GH, and I thought it could be an interesting to discuss our favorite and least favorite sets from the past and present. For example, I still rue the day that Guza (was it Guza?) wrote the demise of the beautiful Scorpio household. Someone informed me that it was burnt down during some storyline involving Robin. I found a pic of it, but you can't make out much: The same goes for the Spencer house that Lucky intentionally burnt down. I hadn't realized it was previously owned by the Ward family. But I just loved it because it felt so real and so homey and full of so much history. Instead, probably to save money, it was destroyed. More recently, I loved the CoeCoe Cosmetics set, which you can see here:
  17. That set looked like one they've used before, just redecorated. I believe it served as the professor's office at PCU who was killed during the Caleb Morley/Stephen Clay debacle. I often wonder why they don't give some of these characters homes when it seems pretty simple to re-dress old sets that are rarely used. I mean, the Swiss Hospital set was fairly elaborate, but it's used on very rare occasions. Re-dress it and have it serve as an apartment building for people like Mac, Felicia, Lucy, etc. Half the cast is homeless or living in the Metro Court.
  18. Are you referring to Prospect Park? It's declared bankruptcy and there's very little chance we'll ever see OLTL or AMC ever again. I'd rather they not purchase any more soaps.
  19. I feel that way about most of these mob dudes. Like, if you're all supposed to be such badasses, why don't you just whip out your gun and shoot whomever appears to be standing in your way at the moment? If I were Julian, I would've spilled the beans regarding FauxLuke's real identity as soon as I decided I wanted out of the business. And if not then, then certainly once FauxLuke had my son shot. And if Julian doesn't want to get the PCPD involved, he should just take FauxLuke out himself. Sabrina doesn't irritate me as much as she does other folks, but naming her kid Gabriel? It truly hasn't been a good year for naming children in PC. First Rocco Falconeri, and now Gabe Santiago? Oy.
  20. Understood, but I would still prefer spoiler tags be used for book info on the off chance it eventually occurs on screen.
  21. At the risk of turning this forum into a very mini Game of Thrones situation, please use spoiler tags when discussing information that pertains to the books but hasn't occurred on screen. While I understand the show has departed quite a bit from the books, a possibility that it might appear in the show constitutes spoiler tagging the info. Thanks!
