No. They very well could be concerned about the ratings but IMO there isn't any evidence of it in the way the EPs talk about the show. There could be course correcting in the writing, but they've never course corrected in the marketing. The post-ep interviews tonight should be super interesting.

Of course there is. I'm not sure how much screen time she has so far, but as of now she's recurring with the option to be a regular, and becoming the lead's LI would presumably secure more screen time for her. I'm pretty sure that's why Katie kept pushing it long after that ship hit the iceberg.

Don't get me wrong, I think she looks great! And I don't think there's anything wrong at all with working hard on your body and being proud of it and posting pictures of it. I just think that her messages are at odds with the pictures she's choosing to go along with them.

Whenever she posts about fitness, I find the pic choice and message combo to be kinda lulzy.

I'm not sure why "C plot" is in quotes? According to the synopsis, it is the C plot. Talia is A, Felicity hacking the NSA is B, and recruiting Tina is C.

Based on what little we've seen of Tina in the previews (which admittedly could be misleading), it seems like they modeled her after Wild Dog. Which, if true, probably not the best idea. So if they did, I'm really curious about how she's going to be received (apart from any lingering hard feelings anyone might have over her becoming a new Canary).

Why try to make it the "most-watched" promo to prove some kind of a point to the show about Laurel (which, based on what I saw was a concerted effort by her fans) and then not actually watch it to pump up the numbers TPTB actually somewhat care about?

IIRC an extra posted a pic of herself that was set dressing for what looks like a vigil - I'd bet actual money there's going to be a mass shooting.

Sorry, I misunderstood. Oliver/Felicity to me indicates the ship - if I were speaking of them as individuals, I'd just say Oliver and Felicity.

Not sure you can claim the interviews since their romantic relationship is constantly referred to as being over, Felicity's mentions involve getting a story outside of her former romantic relationship with Oliver and getting revenge for Billy's death, and Oliver's main selling point lately is about the "genuine feelings" he's gonna have for a woman who is not Felicity.

Gotta find out how Tina got that idiotic meta power, I guess?

I think it was always supposed to be in 10-IIRC, she was on set during shooting for that ep, and someone posted a pic with her. I think maybe they just wanted it to be a surprise?
